Nooma (the salesman) assured me that it had recently gotten a diagnostic check and an oil change; also, when the heater wasn't working on the test drive he told that the compressor was "just a little old, that's why it takes a little to start up" now I have to get ALL of that done out of pocket because when I went to them to complain or at the very least get something done about this Dean (manager) just ignored my calls and told me "there is nothing I can do, brother". I leased a car from this dealership and was persuaded to pay insurance coverage for an extra $7,500 Wear&Tear. The payments were added to my monthly lease (a total of $860 for 3 years). When I turned the car in at the end of the lease and traded for a new car, I faced an unpleasant reality that $860 went to somebody's pocket and never been paid to cover my insurance for wear and tear! When I call Honda Financial they suggested that the logical course of actions to wave the bill I received for access wear and tear $400 would be to file a claim with the insurance I paid through the dealership. But then Honda Financial representative reads my agreement and finds that there is no name of any insurance in this contract. The dealership didn't forward the money I paid for the coverage to any insurance on my behalf. And if this is the dealership's responsibility, they do not seem to feel this way... So far I made 3 trips to the dealership and I drive from West LA, speaking of wasting my time.. I call almost every day but no calls back. Mike S. promised to figure out the issue and contact Honda Financial. I don't believe he called, because if he did he would know that the bill is for access wear&tear and not a Disposition fee as he suggesting. Now on top of $860 I paid to somebody else (who?) I also have to pay the $400 for wear and tear bill from Honda financial... A few days ago there was another mess up with the NEW (current) lease agreement. The dealership calls me and asks to re-write the agreement I just signed a month ago. Why? They found a mistake in their paperwork. When I arrived, one of the guys (i was sent from one person to another, overall 4 or 5 people), who spoke to me was Luie from financial dept. When I was unfortunate to ask him questions about the new documents (this time i wanted to be careful), he said that I am rude and whether I want it or not, I am going to sign the documents by the end of the day; otherwise, he will confiscate my car (wow, such threat must be a very efficient way to deal with a customer..:)) !! And this is the car which I already paid a downpayment for and signed a legitimate (from my point of view) agreement. He actually was the one who persuaded me to pay the extra coverage for the Wear & Tear at the first place. read more

I showed up with a drivers license, proof of receipt from bank, cashier's check and passport after confirming by multiple emails that they will not need to run a credit check. They ganged up on me and wanted my social using it as an excuse to run ofac. An ofac can be run using DL and does NOT need your socail. This is just a con to do a loan application once they have your social. Know your rights and refuse. Joanna gave me a good introduce of the vehicle, I Thought I'd give a shot to this dealer, the price didn't work and one of the guys in front of the computer joked inappropriately, that was fine, but the Price didn't match so I left, on the way to my car I got invited back in my Hilary, another manger, who claimed to deal with the price that I offered, waited inside a different manger came to tell me the same number that I didn't agree at the first place, I walked out again, on the second time, Hilary came to negotiate with the price again, ok, I agreed to him a higher price. while waiting, my sales respresentative asked me to talk to the managers in front of the computers and I got offer the ORIGINAL price that I walked out on again! What's going on with the negotiation here? And I told them that Hilary asked asked me to come in for a new price, and the pale looking manger in the middle of the row yielded at me "how much? NO NO" and yielded at Hilary too "NO NO"! All I want is to buy a car, but got treated like begging for a car, and yielding? That's really unprofessional and rude! I've never met a dealer manager who give rude attitudes to their customers like this. al I did was calmed my giving the price I want, and I even increased on when I got invited to go in to negotiate again, but yielding, man! I spoke to the General Manager, who was extremely nice, and seemed genuinely embarrassed and upset by the treatment his staff gave me. He informed me that he was new there, well aware of the dealers and their lack of honest dealings, and that his first main focus was to get rid of them. He also slid in that it was hard for him to find my contact information, because they had done such a great job of hiding the entire appointment I had with them. ...This whole conversation is validating my decision to go to another dealership. But, OK... apology accepted?... He offered a free car wash and oil change to compensate for the situation, since I had already purchased from a different Honda dealership. I thanked him, letting him know that I really appreciated the apology and kind gesture. I thought that was the end of it, but I was wrong... I received a phone call from his assistant, asking if I had received the email about the compensation. I said yes, and Again, I thanked them. A couple days later, I received another call. At this point I know they know I have already purchased a car, and they have apologized, and I have moved on with my life, so I ignore the call. They proceed to call everyday until I finally answer. It is the assistant again. She asks if I know about the free oil change and car wash. For the 3rd time, I thank them. I let her know I am at work so I can't talk. She then says, "No problem. You know about the car wash and oil change, so now you can go and take the review down."... *INSERT BLANK STARE ...I guess the General Manager's apology wasn't as genuine as I thought. I didn't write a bad review to spite the dealership. And it will not come down, because of an apology or a car wash and oil change offer that I'll never use, or any form of compensation at that. The fact that this General Manager has his assistant attempting to buy off bad reviews is absurd to me, and falls right in line with the staff that he spoke so terribly about... Really sad. I am 26 years old, and will undoubtedly be back in the car buying market someday, and would have given Keyes Honda another chance, just on the initial contact from the General Manager.
