The food that we ordered was amazing. I had the beef glass noodles since it's my favorite type of noodles. My hubby had the spicy chicken dish and he was very impressed with it. My son had the BBQ chicken dish and he was also impressed, although he would have preferred that it had a lot more (he's a "growing boy " with a big appetite). The service was very attentive. The waitress came by several times to check on us. I think the most impressive thing about the whole dining experience was the fact that the "Korean Mama " that is the main chef came to our table to ask if I was Korean. I told that I was Japanese and that we were very happy with the food and that we would definitely be back. Mt hubby was blown away with the fact that she came to our table! I got the Bulgogi Dup Bop, which is grilled marinated beef served in a hot clay pot. The beef was on the sweeter side than what I preferred and a bit Americanized, but was still a solid choice as I liked the crispy bits of rice at the bottom. The food is made with love. You can taste the delicious flavors and freshness. We all ordered from the Korean menu: Kim Chee pancakes, Dolsot Unagi, BBQ Short Ribs and Salmon Plate. Everything tasted amazing. The only downside... there's no BAN CHAN! I was disappointed, thus giving the restaurant 4-Stars. 5 I searched up restaurants on Yelp for Rohnert park because we had a date recital to attend near by. Honey Cuisine looked like it was going to hit the spot. We came in soon after they opened for the evening so we were the first ones there. The first lady helping us (assume was the owner) was ffriendly and got us seated right away. Large menu so she answered all questions we had. I got the BBQ chicken that came with rice and salad. My husband got the bbq beef and son and his girlfriend got another bbq chicken dish that came with California rolls. Not complaints from us ! It's literally been 3 years since my husband and I last visited here. We moved out of state and just came to visit on vacation. We made sure to stop by at Honey Cuisine. We decided to order our go-to's. The soft tofu soup tasted so good. The tofu is definitely soft and hits the spot. The bbq short ribs were juicy and falls off the bone easily enough. We ordered a couple of sushi rolls, and right away we knew something was not right. The service was very good, the waitress/owner was very nice and because we didn't want to hurt their feelings we asked for the rolls to go. I went home and was sick, my husband didn't feel right and that was after just eating one piece each from the rolls. We did not try the Korean food, we only tried the rolls and they were terrible. I would never go back to try anything else because it was so horrible. We think the raw fish was spoiled. The best thing I can say is that the staff was really friendly. I really like this restaurant. It is small and feels family owned. The dishes are made to order and delicious. They do not serve banchan like typical Korean restaurants, so we finished each dish! The service is great. They are polite and attentive. The inside can seat about 20 people maybe. We didn't have a problem with our party of 6. These two plates were listed under the "Special BBQ" section which was more expensive pricing so I assume the meats are premium? My BBQ rib plate was $28.99 so it aint cheap! Taste was great, some fatty bits which was to be expected. Salad dressing was a little spicy but lots of flavor. The spicy chicken was not too spicy. The meats do seem like higher quality meats. This place was a true mom and pop restaurant. When we first walked in, you were greeted by the familiar aroma of grilled meat. We decided to try Honey as we wanted to eat Korean food and saw this place offered Korean and Japanese favorites. We ordered the cold noodles and need kalbi ribs along with a sushi roll. The food here tasted great, yet familiar, as if I just left my fiends house. The service was top notch as well. The waitress was incredibly attentive and addressed all of our questions with ample explanation. We would highly recommend this quaint restaurant near Sonoma State. i came in tonight excited to try this place my friend had been raving about, we ordered 4 rolls one being the baked dragon roll. When I recieved the roll it was burnt. Both me and my partner had each taken a piece to confirm it was burnt. I politely asked the manager to remake the roll or order a different roll entirely. She rejected and decided to take the roll off the bill. We boxed everything to go and she came up to me and asked me to take the roll out of the box‍ I couldn't even believe what i was hearing. I told her it was mixed with my other rolls and i didn't want to do that being that it was never my mistake to begin with. She yelled at me in front of a whole diner full of people. As i got up to leave she proceeded to mumble "classic n***er behavior. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THE TREATMENT AND HAVE NEVER FELT SO EMBARRASSED. This location is very close to my childhood home and I have been going here ever since I was a young kid. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Rohnert Park. The inside is clean, simple, and has a decent amount of seating. Never too busy, but the food is always consistently good. It is a mix of Korean and Japanese cuisine with many Sushi dishes, Korean style BBQ, and more. My favorite dish is the BBQ chicken special which consists of a grilled chicken breast with a Teriyaki BBQ sauce, rice, Tempura (vegetable and shrimp) and a salad. Everything in this dish is fresh and super tasty. The sauce is great, better than any kind of Teriyaki sauce I've had (but I guess its technically a BBQ sauce of some sort). The rice is standard, the tempura is crispy, not too greasy and always tastes like it has been fried in fresh oil, and the salad has a wonderful dressing. The staff here is super nice, especially the owner. She is such a sweet and genuine woman. My family and grandparents have gone many times here and have gotten to know the owner very well. She is kind and a great waitress too. I always forget how much I really love this place and I hope it stays in business for a very long time. I will keep coming back here! read more

Apparently I have been living under a rock for the last 16+ years. Kimchi gigae is one of my top favorite comfort meal. I truly thought that I would have to drive to the Bay Area for good quality kimchi gigae. I was craving for this stew so much but did not want to drive to the Bay Area. There's a specific spot in downtown Santa Rosa that sells this stew but it's not that great imo. We yelped and I am so happy that we landed on Honey Cuisine.
