Worst experience ever in my life. I have never been so embarrassed. Tonight I went in to Hooters with my family. We were seated fairly quickly. Shortly, a young lady approached my table. She introduced herself and said her name was Carrie. This server apparently has no understanding for the service industry. People go to restaurants to eat, drink and have a great time. As Carrie approached my table she wasn't very pleasant. After a less than pleasant and professional greeting like you would expect, she refused to take my order. Literally. Absolutely refuse to take my order. I have no idea what was going through this young ladies mind at the time, but I do not understand how a company known for its friendly experience and atmosphere finds it ok to treat its guests this way. I still love this place. Service is ok, the atmosphere is good and the food,..... well, I had the smoked wings tonight with a side of chili. The chili was ok but the smoked wings were dry.. you think smoked you think juicy right? They were also on the small side. read more

Mediocre Hooters....the service was lame and it just felt like any other place to eat except LESS attention was paid...i mean i don't need them to be around us all the time but we only saw our waitress like 3 brief times to order bring us our food, than check...the place just felt empty and boring and the food was over priced for what we received both accommodation wise and quality of the food...i regretted having gone there...wild wings was tremendously better... read more

Love the food here....almost always gets Medium wings & shrimp, did I tell you that I love them. I have also had in the past the burgers & fries which were pretty good considering this is a wings place. I do get my food to go but on the occasions I do eat in, I usually sit at the bar (will definitely get it to go if the bar is full) since my last couple experiences with eating in at a table wasn't that great (this is for all hooters I have been to, not just the Charleston location), but the food is still worth going there. read more

i have made two visits to this location in the last 2 months. i really like 3 mile island wings! i know i am not going to a fine dining establishment. Both times there were issues. Last time, it was inconsistent wing size. Not really something the local manager can control but we spoke about it. Today we had issues with the order correctness. I did not complain to the manager but he knew of the issue. He (Sean) came out and made sure i was taken care of after the issue. He remembered my name (before i gave a credit card) which told me he is serious about having a good restuarant and experience for his customers. I applaud this attention to detail. He does have some work but i am impressed. i will return. read more

Place is slow... waited over 30 min for a appetizer... waitress said there was 2 managers and it's slow as hell... sad sad day.

The food here was really good for the price and all the waitresses fit the bill for hooters it was great except our waitress was awkward and she didn't talk or have fun with us at all... Her name was Adianez... Steer clear of Adianez.... Restaurant gets a 4 star rating, Adianez gets a 1 and maybe a half. read more

Unbelievable! My wife and I went to Hooters to get some snacks and a drink. We were told to seat ourselves, as we did so on the outside patio. We were there for 10 minutes until a waitress came up to 'check' on some 'customers' I was later told she wished she did not have to (not my problem!). After approximately 13 minutes sitting (watching the game on the flat-screen), I went to the bar to meet a very friendly waitress who made us our drinks. When she asked why had not a waitress came to our table, I told her I did not know and referenced where I was sitting. Her expression said it all in that our 'waitress' did not want to deal with those sitting on the patio, for whatever reason. Needless to say, after our drinks we left without getting any food. We never even were provided with menus! This Hooters was without question the worst I've ever been to. Do NOT frequent this restaurant. read more

Small place, but very friendly and well run. Extremely personable staff and management that was constantly visible. March madness on most of the TV screens, waitresses happily changing the channels when asked. I'm not the biggest fan of Hooters chicken, but their grilled fish sandwich is about as good as anything could be. Most of the time I wouldn't drive out of my way to go to a Hooters, but when in North Charleston, I'll make the exception. Best Sports bar I've been to. read more

Call me old fashion, whatever, been a loyal Hooters customer since Clearwater in 1985, and have been to several dozen over the years, with family and without, but Hooters seems be getting a little long in the tooth for me anyway. The ladies ...... ok we all know why people go there, to oogle over them but they aren't what they used to be, ladies you don't have to pull the shorts up the crack of your butt to look good, it doesn't help, and if you spent half as much time with your customers, especially the families ( we usually tip better) as you spend talking to your workmates, you would make a lot more, we were in the restaurant for about 2 hours tonight and saw our waitress for a total of 5 min, including ordering, and you want a good 25-30% tip for what? Food ...... my hows its changed over the years from the original 3 flavors, plain ol HOT still my favorite btw and the best in town. Atmosphere ..... same as it was 30 years ago, except a little more politically correct, i do miss the "More Than a Mouthful" on the shirts. Overall I like Hooters but not as much as I used too, Maybe it's time for Hooters to grow up a bit and not just change the menu. read more

By far the worst hooters I've eaten at. I picked up an order to go and when I got home I was missing the ranch dressing that I requested and the fries were what looked like some old leftover fries. The wings were not very well prepared they tasted like they had been sitting around a while. Worst experience ever I didn't even eat the food. read more

Worst experience at this place ever. First, the server Lauren never even acknowledges that we don't have menus. Then, when I finally order after her never even asking if we wanted/needed menus, a pitcher of beer takes forever, apps come out ok, one order of crab legs come out but not the other. We wait and wait. First order gets cold. Waitress finally comes over and we have to tell her the other order never came. Imagine this, she forgot to put it in. She puts it in, not offering to put the first in again. Another 10-15 minutes goes by. Manager comes over and asks if we want first order "redone" aka redropped after I state tat they are cold (because: manners). I specifically said I don't want them redropped. 5 minutes later imagine what comes out... one fresh order and one order redropped and still half cold. Ridiculous. The manager then proceeds to get snippy when I call him on it. Comp one order all you want Mr. Manager because I'm sure as hello not eating it! read more
