We had the waitress named Demi. She constantly slung her long hair on our table, and on the tables around us. Every Time she went to a table to address patrons, she ran her hands through her hair and then proceeded to touch food, plates, pitchers of beer, etc... We found this very unsanitary and unappetizing. We have eaten here many times and never had a complaint, but this was too much! Our food was decent, but our second pitcher of beer came so late in the meal and was very warm. Won't be back anytime soon read more

Ok..for the good. I LOVE their wings. I personally thing they are the best in town by far. Crunchy and awesome flavor. Now the bad, The wings are AWESOME..when cooked properly (meaning not still raw inside) and are SERVED (I have walked in..been seated, and never had someone show up at the table..after 10 minutes, walked out, while walking out, was told to have a great day. This was probably my one of my favorite Hooters restaurants, up until today. Yeah they remodeled but that's about it ugly service. Had to wait more than 5 mins until we told the hostess to send the waitress to our table. Had to be calling her constantly for refills instead of her offering them. We usually order the same thing and pretty much know how much it will be. Well now there was a surprice in our bill being charged with something we had ordered and they didn't even bring it to our table. This place seems like a hit or miss on the past reviews. Tonight I definitely missed. Went there and the bartender acted like she couldn't wait to leave and I ordered some wings, the bartender gave my food without any silverware or napkins (she didn't ask if I needed anything) So I get my wings and of course they are way overcooked cold and dry, the manager did refund my order which was good, but it'll be awhile I wil l go back. It's a damn shame, cuz I thought they always had the best wings in town. Oh well. read more

Service, food & wait time was absolutely horrible. The waitress barely came to check up on our table throughout our whole stay here and after a long time when our food finally arrived some of our orders were messed up. I was so disappointed when the food arrived since the fries were over seasoned and drenched with salt. Also, we got overpriced in two items and even when we asked to correct it they didn't correct it. Monday night, not busy. Our order took almost an hour for wings.we waited 30 minutes for drinks then an hour for all you can eat wings - and 45 minutes for the second round which we had to take to go. Service was horrible and my wings were dry even though I ordered them sauced. Everyone else liked their wings but mine were super dry. Drink refills were hard to get and the appetizer was priced for 4 but barely served 2. Disappointing. The best part was my husbands beer? At least it was cold and he got his money's worth. We had Daytona wings, oysters, burgers and Baja tacos....all was very good. It was not a very busy Wednesday evening, I guess that's when service declines, you know this if you've ever worked in the service industry. The girls never came back to sing to the birthday girl, even though we went ahead and lit the candles and sang ourself, and the manager heard me say I'd like a picture of the girls with my little boy. Didn't happen either. Again, it was a slow night. I could have walked out of there content if that was the worst that happened. Our waitress brought our checks (only 3 checks)....and they were ALL wrong. We even wrote down what each check had for her. It took from the beginning of the Spurs game to halftime to finally pay and leave. The manager even saw that we had to literally get up and go to the register to show her what needed to be corrected. Side note...two of us at that table were Hooters girls, bartenders, and now a nurse, so patience and understanding is something we have. It was tested that night. And barely an apology was given. When you are here, ask for their Buffalo style Hot sause on the side. It comes like a "Curry dripping with oil", like a crude oil. This has a delicious taste that you wouldn't get anywhere else...Also try their Daytona Sause on the side...Very delicious. read more

Was not a good experience the food was horrible and the service was horrible as well. The hostess and waitress were all on their cellphones and disregarding their surroundings. Not sure what their policies are for personal cell phones but I'm pretty sure it's very unlikely to be on your personal cell phone during working hours. If you have been to one Hooters, you have been to them all. The food is usually good and the drinks are always slightly over priced. I have been to this location several times over the years and I can tell you specifically that if you want to be there during a peak time (Fri/Sat night, for a football game or any other major sporting event) plan ahead and get there early because parking is pretty limited. The restaurant itself is always clean and it's a great atmosphere for sporting events. read more

I took my family (my husband, my brother, my two kids) and my friends family to this hooters yesterday. The host was so friendly and helped us and kept us company while we waited the 30 minutes for our table. Once we sat down our server , named Ashley came to our table and seemed uninterested in us from the beginning. We all had empty glasses she never came and checked on us. We had to wait for our fries while everyone else had finished eating. She literally checked on us twice once to ask for refills (when we were ALL clearly empty) and twice to ask if we were ready for our check. My friend and myself are servers as well and we're very disappointed. I'm usually a twenty dollar tipper but I feel like since we were a family and not a single man our service was horrible. Terrible service.....the only redeeming quality of the waitress was that she turned the channel on the TV near us to football. Never came back to see if our food was okay.....the fries looked and tasted like we'd been given the old fries from the bottom of the basket before they made more. Other than that the food was okay. $3 for an iced tea....she never bothered to see if we needed a refill until we were begging for the check. Me and my boyfriend make a trip here about once a month. I always get the boneless wings, they are so good! Also, its never a perfect trip without the fried pickles. I've always given the benefit of doubt to places like Hooters but what I did not like was the incompetence and treachery our server Allie . I was on a single ticket and I gave her 40 she only gave me the correct change like if I had given her 30 keeping 10 bucks for herself when I told her she'd given me back the wrong change she claims that's what I gave her and stuck to her story. Hopefully it's not a trend amongst the other servers for them to withhold money but that's waitress surely isn't one to be trusted. Count your money don't let them fool you. read more

Came in today with my wife 7/15 and we were helped by Kolbe. She was very nice and very attentive, however something happened to where our food we ordered must have sat in the back a little too long and when it was brought out it was cold. We kindly told Kolbe and without question she took it back and got us new meals made(they didn't just reheat them) and told us the manager was sorry. Rocky (restaurant manager I believe, manager at the time) personally came out and apologized to us and told us our meals were going to be on the house and that he would give us coupons for next time. When a place a busy things like this happen, no big deal. But they went above and beyond to take care of us. Will definitely be back! read more

I actually loved the food here. We got the make your own burger and it was very good. Ordered to go and the food tasted fresh and hot. Burger was juicy and good flavor. Loved the bun as well. Also got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was excellent. I will be back. read more

The wings were Hot on the outside Luke warm on the inside usually happens when you let them sit in the fry basket and get cold,and then drop them to reheat. Cook less more often hot food is key for returning customers. read more

My girlfriend and I thought it would be nice to come out for St. Patty's day, have a beer and some wings. We walk into Hooters on Wurzbach, pretty empty but normal for everything that's going on. We just stood there with the employees just staring at us, so my girlfriend goes up to one of the waitresses asking if they were still serving food. To which they replied yes we are.... and continued to stare... So we just assumed we had to seat our selves. So we sat in a booth, then Alexis comes up to us and says, " oh did you want to sit at the bar?" We say yes and go to the bar. The bartender looks at us and says, "oh I can't have y'all sitting next to each other, we have to have one chair in between y'all." So we go and move to a table and Alexis is our server. We get our drinks and order our food, with how slow it was the food shouldn't have taken as long as it did, it took about 20 minutes to come out. My girlfriends wings were WAY too salty, my wings were fine. Our server came and checked on us, we got the wings comped. We were Alexis's only table and it took her 10 minutes to come back with our check and a box. Then when we were ready to pay, it took another 5 min for her to come back. We needed change and she completely forgot about us, we saw her hanging out in the corner by the bar just txting or whatever on her phone. I finally went up to her and said we needed our change. The overall experience just wasn't what I have had before, I'm pretty disappointed especially with how damn slow it is right now.
