This place has really gone downhill. They are rude and don't listen to your order. Every time I come they mess up my order. I'll have to start going to Einsteins instead.

On our way to a baseball game in Surprise and needed a quick breakfast: bagels were on the menu for breakfast! We wanted you to go to an independent bagel spot (Einstein was around the corner). The criteria was that the place had to have fresh bagels, Liz and salmon spread! This place claimed they had it all plus NU bagels; that's a tall order! We felt the bagels were good. Egg sandwich seemed weak; eggs did not have a lot of taste and just came with unmelted cheese. My lox bagel was not toasted. Sandwich were a little pricey. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was lacking. Inside pretty blah. Tables dirty. Floor had leaves inside as door was open. Some sprucing up would be nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would just come for the bagels and skip the fillings!

Great customer service. Grated when we walked in. Every bagel you could hope for, baked fresh daily. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating inspired and outdoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Went semi in the morning, quiet, clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great first visit! Fiancé took me here on a random day and called it a hidden gem. I agree with him! This place is tucked away right in a corner of a plaza so I'm sure it'll be easy to miss. We came in a little after 1pm so obviously majority of the bagels were already sold out but the plain and sea salt bagels were amazing! Everything tasted great. The service was excellent and the lady who took our order was so nice and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was bright and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think we found our new fave bagel spot

Still the best boiled bagels in town. This place is the only family owned business that has been able to stay open since covid in this shopping center. My husband's fave is the New York sloppy Joe, their bagels wrapped hot dogs, and everything bagels for his work days. They are always looking for help. Bagels go fast as this is. Surprise favorite.

You said:"Pumpernickel, Sloppy Joe Style." Come get your sloppy number four on. Pick your bagel.

New York sort of air! How should you pass the time? If you were a New Yorker you would be in a cafe some where with your feet drying out from the heaters that are under the table clenching that cup of coffee waiting for it's aromas to sink way down. Arizona is far from New York, here is the next best thing. Bagels, meats, cheeses, bacon, and a beverage. You know this is gonna be good! This little bakery is located right next to a cupcake shop. Yes, and I'm just wandering in now. Better to arrive eventually than not at all. The smells from this shop will give you fever all the way to your core. The best of New York cafe living right here in Sun City Az. No rain and no frost it's all sun and shine in the valley of the sun. The golf is on after a sensational breakfast. They are open early for all those risers that need the goods to start the day off. Bagels and bagels galore. How do you want that pastrami and Swiss or your egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich; they all have one thing in common: they all are served on a bagel. Many times we have visited here. You get some real good food. The food memories bring back times when I visited New York. Their version of a "big breakfast," will quench even a growing teenagers tastes and leave them full. The bacon, what's not to love. The eggs n bacon meal has home cooked potatoes that were always perfect paired with your choice of bagel. What's not to love? It's supporting local that matters. Here in the Sun City area so many big chains are around. This bakery is a proud badge to the community in a sea of corporate world all around, but still the little place is around. Spread the word and always support local. It's Sunday and the early is how we do it! As we live these days, sleep is a fluke and we seem to need less and less of it. Maybe it's stress or all that coffee. Now that's it's morning, it's time for some coffee. It's a beautiful morning. As I sit here and sip the coffee the sun cracks and plays peek a boo from beyond the clouds. As the rays of sunshine dance and spread their radiance the coffee is taking effect. The chef from behind the counter is calling out my breakfast number. It's a help yourself sort of way here for basic coffee. Sometimes all you need is the simple, with that better way of eating in the morning. Especially Sunday morning. The aroma from my food hits my nasal passage way and inside I'm screaming grab that fork. The bacon just beacons for me to eat. Let's go I cannot wait anymore. If yours a type of individual that seeks great deliciousness in home down cooked food, look no further. That New Yorker welcome is here just for you. Bagels galore. How do you pastrami or egg it? On a bagel of course. Perhaps sourdough. The best of heaven wrapped up all the way from the shores of the east coast to the west coast ! Now let's get our breakfast on! It's our connection to food that brings so much happiness to all so enjoy simplicity with a bagel of your choice.

Outstanding food and eating-in experience…read more Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

It had lettuce, tomato, onion, Swiss cheese and cranberries. It came on a wrap, but I opted for a French roll (fresh and good flavor). The sandwich was delicious. Next time I'd get it without the Swiss cheese but otherwise perfect. My husband got the meatball on a French roll. He is usually really picky about the sauce, but he liked everything about his sandwich. We are definitely going back! Oh, I almost forgot the cookie. It was kind of soft and chewy. A nice bonus after our sandwiches.

1/5 -- First Time Trying It & Probably My Last…read more This was my FIRST time ever trying Mr. Pickles, and unfortunately, this was a terrible first impression. I was actually excited to try this place, which makes the experience even more disappointing. I ordered a whole Chicken Bacon Ranch on a Dutch Crunch roll, added pepperoni, bacon, and chicken breast, with ranch on the side, NO red onions and NO pickles. I also ordered a whole Reuben on marble rye with extra Swiss and Thousand Island on the side, plus individual macaroni salad and potato salad. The receipt clearly shows my order and exactly how I requested everything, but there was NO ranch dressing for my Chicken Bacon Ranch and NO Thousand Island dressing for my Reuben. How do you send out a Chicken Bacon Ranch with no ranch and a Reuben with no Thousand Island, especially when the receipt specifically says both dressings were supposed to be on the side? That completely ruined both sandwiches for me. I shouldn't have to get home and realize that two of the main things that actually make these sandwiches what they are were left out. And this wasn't me forgetting to request them--the receipt is right there. "Ranch Dressing (on side)" and "Thousand Island (on side)" are both printed on the ticket. Someone simply did not check the order before it went out. When you're paying your money for food, you expect the restaurant to at least make sure everything you ordered is actually in the bag. Especially for a first-time customer. I wanted to try Mr. Pickles and see what the hype was about, but instead I ended up disappointed and feeling like I wasted my money. Honestly, I wish I could get my money back. That's how unhappy I am with this order. I paid for food I didn't get to enjoy the way it was supposed to be served. For a sandwich shop, getting the sandwiches and their basic condiments right should be the bare minimum. This was my first experience here, and unfortunately, it may very well be my last. If you order from this location, check your entire bag before you leave. Check the sandwiches, check the sides, and definitely check for your dressings, because apparently having it clearly printed on the receipt doesn't mean it'll actually make it into your order. Extremely disappointing first experience.

Beer selection is great and carry one of my favorite beers Łomża Jasne Pełne. We got a few items from the regular shelf. But we spent most our time looking at the hot food and cold meats. I grabbed four hot food items which all are amazing. Also grabbed some polish sandwich meats and the best bacon I've ever had. Staff is very nice and service is very quick.
