Went on a Sunday morning. Place is very popular as evidenced by the large crowd, but found an available table in the back. This is a good place for breakfast if you aren't looking for something fancy or if you prefer a more gourmet-type breakfast. It is in a strip center so there is nothing intimate of glamorous about the decor inside, just tables and good food. Ordered eggs, bacon, sausage and wheat toast. All were cooked as ordered. My work "Lunch Bunch" has been here twice now.I almost hate to put this review up because I don't want this place to get crowded, it's pretty small. This is the kind of place I love Yelp for. A small place putting out great food with super duper service. And it's also very inexpensive. I had the catfish plate both times because it's the best around. Wonderful cole slaw, homemade hush puppies, yummy fries. Deliciously battered fresh catfish, so good. Co workers have had wraps and burgers, all were good. Waitperson sate so nice and know the menu well. They also serve breakfast all day. Good stuff. read more

They have a lot on their menu from common breakfast items, salads, and burgers. I chose the build your own with eggs, sausage, 2 pancakes, and a drink. It was more than enough. Nice people (wait staff), cheap food - each meal average $5 with drink, and fast ... Not bad worth a try... Food is fair to good. Not any different tasting than you would get from Waffle House or IHOP but 1/2 the price and your money goes to a small family owned business so I like that better. read more

Hot, fresh, fast, and good. Just what I needed on Monday morning heading into the office. I wanted to try something different and it's only a matter of time before this place is a local favorite. My brother in law took me here just after I moved to the Dallas area and I thought I would go ahead and review it now since I have not done so. It is a pretty small place and was very crowded the morning we ate there. However, the service was fast and friendly and the food was good. It's hard to screw up breakfast ....and I am a big fan of pancakes and eggs, so I was not hard to please to begin with. This is your local hole in the wall. Low prices. Decent size servings, but slow service. The place isn't that big so the tables are a little crammed. Lots of people coming in which means people like the food. Their menu is pretty big with tons of variety. My husband tried Their chili burger and it was delicious. First, it's hard to get a menu. We did manage to get 2 for a table of 4. There are 5 parking spaces, you will have to park at 7/11. Food is good. Not great, but good. Portions are good sized and a large plate of food goes for about 7 dollars. The pancakes are good. Taste like bisquick mom used to make. Hash browns are good n crisp. Eggs were just on the runny side, like they should be. But no seasoning on anything. A little salt goes a long way. No refills at our table for tea or coffee. I didn't see them refill anyone's drink while we were here. The servers are EXTREMELY disorganized. The cooks are working like crazy. Wait until it's time to pay. No check. Everyone has lined up. Waiting for tables, waiting to pay, to go orders. With management, this could be a nice hole in the wall place. Had the waitress ever refilled a drink, they would have 4 stars. read more

My wife and I moved to the area 3 years ago, and thought we found "the place". Sadly we've witnessed the decline to what is now "the place to avoid". My over meds eggs had runny, snotty withes, my wife's scrambled we're still raw in the middle, the sausage were just grease soaked sponges, the bacon was 30 seconds from being ash. The grits - how do you completely destroy grits? They were like a bowl of tasteless water. Coffee excellent - pancakes excellent. So if your looking for just coffee and pancakes * this is your new favorite place. Anything else maybe wait until something changes. read more

I recently stopped in because I like breakfast food anytime of day, I was not disappointed. The sign on front simply says, HOT PANCAKES but this place has so much more. On my first visit I had a basic breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast and added two pancakes. Everything was cooked just as I asked and judging by other breakfasts restaurants this isn't easy to do! My egg yolks were runny but the egg whites weren't, my fried potatoes were actually crispy and I had butter, not margarine with my toast. My pancakes were also hot and tasted great. I know I sound like an AD for this place but I'd never been here before. On my next stop I had eggs, potatoes, sausage with biscuits and gravy and it was fantastic. The gravy was real, or so it seems and my eggs were scrambled soft, just as I ordered. I'll get back soon and try lunch food, I'm really looking forward to eating there again. Am-azing prices! You get a build your own breakfast with a drink for $4.95. I had over-easy eggs with cornbeef hash and pancakes with a coffee. All of it was solid, basic comfort food. This is by far the worst experience I've had with breakfast. The sprite tasted like Alka Seltzer. I ordered the build your own breakfast. It was only $5. A GREAT DEAL. I got 2 eggs, grits, and 3 pieces of bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy. The grits are watery!!!! My husband ordered the pancake platter: 2 pancakes 2 pieces of sausage, ham, and bacon with two eggs and hash browns. He said he would rather go to Waffle House. My kids ordered the grilled ham and cheese waffle with fries. They initially brought my kids grilled cheese and fries. I had to take the food to the counter to get the right order. Then the waitress said she heard grilled cheese. There isn't any grilled cheese listed on the menu AND we were pointing at it when we ordered. We won't be back. It was four of us and the table was so small AND all of the crap they put on the table. Also the pancakes don't look fresh they look premade like they come in frozen. read more

Don't let the location next to the gas station fool you -- the food is wonderful and you can also sit down at one of the many tables w chairs if you like. Or you can get it to go. Service: Waitresses were rude, and I can hear how they even talked ill amongst each other and about customers.
