Today was our first time here and definitely won't be our last, we loved it! We started with the appetizer sampler (yes we had fried mozzarella at breakfast because we could - the whole menu is served all day!) and it was really good. Wish the ranch dressing was homemade but it was still good. My kids split the Oreo cookie pancake... they give it two enthusiastic thumbs up . My husband had the French toast, it was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I had the smothered biscuit which was a TON of food! I barely finished one biscuit, and that was with help from the kids. The sweet tea is true southern sweet tea so I preferred half and half. Our waitress, Sophia, was wonderful! My family and I have come to this restaurant 3 times. The first time was great. The second and this last time was the worst. We figured we would give them another shot, but the service has just progressively gotten worse. Today we had to wait 15 minutes for a table when they had at least 7-8 staff members and only 3 tables were occupied. We finally got sat and after receiving our food our waitress never came back. We had no refills, missing food, etc. The staff do not help each other and we witnessed a table walk out because they flagged a waitress down and said they had not been helped. Instead of her stepping in and stop getting the sugar packets (which we watched her do for at least 20 minutes) she told them that they would have to figure out who was the waitress for that section and continued with the sugar packets. The service was very good! The food was delicious and most definitely like advertised. My coffee cup was always full, everyone was very sweet. All of the food came out very efficiently and we were seated within 30 seconds of walking in the door. Definitely somewhere to get breakfast, brunch, or dinner with the kids. read more

Then this rude bald headed black lady says it's just one of me as if I was saying let's just sit down because we and about 6 people were waiting. Me and Hubby are in Georgetown, Texas visiting the Huddle House Restaurant again for Breakfast on this rainy Saturday, November 27, 2021. The waiter Ray Lynn served us and she was really slow. The restaurant was not that busy. We ordered the MVP Breakfast which came with a pancake, toast, three slices of bacon, two scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, and grits. Coffee was our drinks. This was a very disappointing visit.The MVP Breakfast left a lot to be desired this time; I've had better. The eggs, hash browns, and grits were cold. The grits were terrible; they were Sooooo watery we could have sipped them through a straw. We had to ask for forks/knives twice which we didn't receive until after the food arrived. The Huddle House staff needs to do better. read more

I gave them 3 stars not because the restaurant was bad or poor service or the food is nasty because none of that is true. They get 3 stars because they are so short staff i can see a customer that lacks any type of understanding or experience working with a short staff to be ok with the wait time. There is a wait time but the same person that will greet you at the door will be cleaning your tables, seating you, taking your order, and bringing your food to you. How could I forget that he will also be checking you out. Not only for your table but for the restaurant. They have a very good crew. The food is fresh and cooked well. They just need more employees there. However, if you want to see someone young who is a hard worker and will still remember your order and get it right the first time while truly multi tasking this is a place to go. Its a great breakfast spot i do believe their food if better than Ihop and the portions are larger as well. The MVP is huge! Strawberry lemonade is amazing. Support this business!!! read more

My wife and I stopped here for their "Grand" opening on 1-30-2021. They were not busy (about 20 o/o. We were seated quickly and given menus. We decided what we wanted and waited for service, and waited and waited and waited. After about 10minutes of waiting a person asked if we had been waited on to which I replied no. She stated that she would see who was responsible for our table. Still no one bothered to wait on us. Another 10 minutes past and I had enough. We left and on the way out, the hostess thanked us to which I replied "For what, we were never were waited on, no coffee, water or anything except menus. If this is how you have a grand opening, then good luck with the rest of your short time here. read more

The food here is fantastic as far as breakfast is concerned. My boyfriend always gets the stuffed hash browns and I get one of the breakfast plates. It's always hot, fresh, and delicious. While they observe Covid 19 guidelines, I get my food to go. They package it neatly and it's easy to grab and go! The food was great and exceeded our expectations. This review is not for the food specifically. This location is new so we went there expecting slow service and we would have been happy with that. The service exceeded expectations up to the time of receiving our orders. The waiter essentially dissapeared after that. We waited and waited and waited for our check. After quite some time we decided to go to the front to speak to the host and request the check. As we turned to get up we watched him get in his car and leave. No big deal, we will ask another server... so we waited and waited until we flagged down another server which we informed of our need for the bill. She said she would take care of it. Then we waited and waited and waited some more. During these long waits (after eating) we watched the crew working and noticed that one cook had pulled his mask below his mouth and cooked that way. He stayed thay way for over 20 minutes. His trainer (indicated by the employees shirt) stood next to him while this occurred for that entire time. This was not a one off issue. During this same time frame we watched multiple servers pull their masks down to talk to other employees in the kitchen area. Several of the employees had their masks below their nose for the entirety of the time we watched (we were here a long time). Its been over 6 months of the mask mandate this is unacceptable. Had we noticed this prior to eating we would have left and gone somewhere else. We got tired of waiting at this point and left $60 of cash on the table and asked the table next to us inform someone that we left (and why). Thankfully I had cash. We ordered 2 breakfast meals, a waffle and two drinks. We had waited so long without a check that we gave up and left $60 on the table. We don't know what the bill was it never arrived - we just wanted to leave. Two stars as the food itself was great. read more

Not a good place to eat. We waited 45 minutes for our food just for nothing to be seasoned and didn't want to ask because it would probably take 10 minutes for it to just be brought to us. Our orders were all messed up and our server didn't remember who ordered what and wrote things down wrong on the order slip. (we got over medium eggs instead of fried hard, we got two plates of just eggs and sausage that no one ordered) He didn't know why the food was taking long and even when we told him to ask the cooks what was taking so long he came back saying he didn't know why and just kept saying it was coming . When the cooks were confronted about our order they said "here it is now, it's coming right out" but we already waited 45 minutes at that point we were already upset. Eggs have shells in them, cups were dirty and it seemed like the cooks and our server didn't know what they were doing and were more worried about talking/watching the tv. They were open but no one inside and the door was locked after a minute a lady said, "waiting on the chef about 10 minutes" and immediately closed the the door. First time here. Arrived at 11:50 it's 12:25 and we have not received our food. We are leaving without eating. Our server Brittany was not the friendliest, at least not with us. A gentleman came in shortly after us and before he sat down his server took drink order while I had to stop him and tell him(I think he was the manager) anyway, I told we didn't know who are server was and asked him for coffee. Brittany comes to take our order and one of my sides was a salad and I asked her if I could have it before the main course. She said yes, but then I had to ask her again for the salad. Several times there was plated food sitting in the window and servers standing at the window but would not take the food to the customer. The servers walked away from the window only to be called back to take the food. It appears there were 4 cooks and getting food out should not take this long. Lousy service. Sad to see a business with so few customers. My 82 year old mom and I went on a Wednesday at 2 in the afternoon and there were no other customers throughout my visit. The food was good enough for the price, except for the mac&cheese. It was tough under cooked macaroni with terrible canned cheese sauce. Why serve such slop when decent mac&cheese is not expensive. To be the only customer in the place, I certainly didn't feel I got very good service. When I paid my bill, I was supposed to get $7.70 in change. Our server laid my receipt and $7 dollars on the table as she hurriedly went by. I called to her "Miss" and she turned back and looked at me from about 15 ft away. I said my chance was 70 cent short. She just said "I didn't have 70 cents", and walked away. I had already laid $3 on the table for a tip, so I retrieved one. Had she said she was short on change I would have added the 30 cents to the $20 I paid with and she'd have gotten a $3 tip instead of $2. read more
