From the beginning communication was excellent, the owner really went above and beyond to make sure we were on the same page about expectations. The guys arrived early and worked hard, despite only being a two man team they got everything packed, loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently in next to no time! HORRIBLE SERVICE! My entire bedroom set that was once gorgeous was scratched up all to hell in a single day. They took 8 frigging hours to move my one bedroom and had the audacity to try and charge me for it. Hell no, wasn't having it - especially after they dinged walls, scratched furniture, etc. Come the hell on! What happened to actual "professional" movers? One of the guys didn't speak English, so could not communicate with his coworker! This caused even more of a delay, because they couldn't understand each other. WTF? It was absolute hell! Where to start? As most people should know by now, there are hundreds of movers in San Diego county. They all want your business and profess to be professional. But, if you've moved, you know it's a crap shoot. Here's another one of those story's that could have had a better ending, had the owner called or texted me after I reached out to him. Booked a move from Vista to Rancho SD on this past Memorial Day 5/31. 3 guys, at the going rate $150/hr. 2 bedroom condo to a 2 bedroom home. (One level). Total pieces of furniture (20), including king & full bed, couch, cabinet, washer, dryer and small freezer. 8 wire racks for the garage and about 60 boxes/totes. To expedite everything, my wife & I (no kids), rented a 15' UHaul a couple days before. We packed anything that was breakable, valuable or delicate and small, and moved it to the new place. We sealed all boxes/totes and emptied all furniture of glass or items. All the guys needed to do was disassemble one item, a king bed. So what could go wrong? First, the Truck showed up with a lift gate that didn't work properly. Huh? It barely went up or down unless the truck was running, constantly. 2nd, of the 3 guys, the foreman knew what to do, but the other 2 were new. He had to constantly tell them everything. 3rd, they had inadequate dollys to handle taking more than a couple of boxes at a time. Finally, the truck had wardrobe boxes and other stuff on it already, that I didn't need for the move. They arrived at 9:40am and finished at 5:40pm. One hour to drive, 7 hours to load/unload the truck. We gave them water& drinks, fed them lunch, and tipped them, because they worked hard (But SLOW). I reached out to the owner Sanjar Kakhramonov, but alas, he blew me off. Gave him a week to discuss the inept planning involved in our move, to offer some constructive criticism, but NO. Everything, when you move (And paying by the hour), involves planning, to avoid WASTING TIME. Not only did BOTH of us help the guys load and unload, but we took off the shrink wrap and quilts, otherwise it might have taken 12 hours?????? If you don't care about COST or the time it takes, this outfit is for you. BUT, if You want a quick, efficient and accurate Mover who's top priority is Customer Satisfaction, Skip Hulk Movers. read more

We didn't actually move but needed help emptying a POD storage and squaring away the contents in our office. The movers arrived on time, did what we asked them to do and were very efficient. We opted for 4 movers to ensure that the piano was moved safely, and these guys DELIVERED. They worked so incredibly hard, they were courteous in asking how we wanted things done, they covered our floors and doorways (upon asking), they covered all of our furniture with moving blankets or shrink wrap. My husband has hired movers several times and he has never seen movers take such care with his stuff. I would definitely recommend these guys. I moved a couple of weeks ago and decided to use movers for the first time. I couldn't have had a better experience with Hulk Movers. I moved from a 2-bedroom apartment located on the second floor to a two bedroom two-story Condo. I requested a quote here on yelp and had a quick response. I confirmed 2 movers (a week before my requested move date, so glad they were available!) they called before arrival and showed up on time and ready to start moving (masks on the entire time). Both guys were super friendly, super helpful and never stopped working. They had to move all my furniture and boxes down a flight of stairs and out to the parking lot into the truck. They wrapped more furniture than I personally would have, which I totally appreciated, and also unwrapped things at my new place. Nothing was damaged during the move. They were done in 3.75 hours.
