We used them on Oct 15 this is a repost. They worked very hard, wrapped up our things very well with no damage at all. They get 4 stars for one they wanted to leave early before it was done. I know I it was a long long day. But we had to tell them I need all my things packed up.we still had room. The lift stopped working for about 10 minutes and they wanted to leave. Two The payment didn't go very smoothly. We thought doubled charged us. The communication about payment could of been a lot better. Next time show the customer if the payment does go through or not. read more

Great Movers! They require a deposit beforehand which I didn't expect to do. However, they were fast and efficient. Rates were very affordable and I'm really pleased on how all my stuff arrived safely and undamaged. I'm glad they had availability when I needed movers a week before I needed to move out. I wish I could do 0 stars. It was the worst move experience I've had. It cost me an extra $180 in fees with the building I moved into. The move in coordinator looked at what was moved and said that should have only been a couple hour job. We walked out of the old building together. 20 minutes later I walked over to see why they had not showed up as the move was a literal city block and after I said something, they were at the location in exactly 3 minutes. They had just been sitting in the truck. Remember this is a business where you're paying for each minute. They told me they never took a break. The move in coordinator who was on the street by the truck called to tell me otherwise. They took off with my keys and lies about returning them. I am waiting for how they will rectify this. The cost of a locksmith and 3 key fobs will cost more than the move itself. I called them after a review on a San Diego Facebook group. That had to have been fake. I will be sharing all this to the San Diego Facebook pages to try to save others from going through what I have. This should be a client focused business to not only retain customers but for referrals. read more

I am extremely pleased to tell you that Hulk Movers did a fantastic job! 1) They were extremely accommodating. Sanjar rearranged HIS day off to come to my dad's house to estimate the move because it was more convenient for us. 2) They allowed us to pick the date and they fit us in. They were flexible and willing to work based on our needs. 3) They stuck exactly to their estimate except for two very minor things that they hadn't known at the time of the estimate (e.g. they needed to empty gas out of a generator and also the liquid out of an acetylene torch...both of which they did). 4) Their estimate was very reasonable. It was quite a bit better than other companies we talked with, and right in line with what Google claimed it ought to be. 5) They brought my dad's stuff to Oregon from San Diego only two days after picking it up! While they had some trouble in the pass that made them 1 1/2 hours off their first ETA, they kept us informed and arrived at 6:00 PM instead of 4:30 PM. This means that they delivered his stuff ONLY TWO DAYS after picking it up and having driven all of California to Oregon. 6) As far as we can tell so far, they broke nothing and did a fantastic wrapping job on the items they packed. 7) On both ends (San Diego and Oregon City) they were efficient, polite, and hard-working. We HIGHLY recommend them! It is SO nice to deal with a company that does a good, respectable job and shows no hint of trying to cheat anyone. Note: The better price required paying them in cash, although they only required the payment (minus a small deposit) upon delivery. And, honestly, while it was more, their credit card price wasn't too bad either. read more

We recently moved from San Diego to Bay area and one thing we were super worried about was the safe transportation of our furniture and boxes. Hulk movers did an amazing job bubble wrapping delicate stuff, plastic wrapping our furniture meticulously so that they don't get dinged or scratched. They too quite a bit of time to load, thanks to their attention to detail and never showed any rush to complete the job. More importantly we didn't have any last minute surprises w.r.t final invoice and they were very professional through out the move. The guys who came were super friendly and even disassembled our book shelf to fit it through the door in our new place. Sanjar was extremely friendly, very responsive and patiently responds to all of our questions. If we hadn't moved out of the city, they will be our de facto choice of movers in the future. read more

I have had two fantastic moving experiences with Hulk Movers! The first time we used them was for a short distance move in San Diego and they were extremely diligent and quick. Our latest move was a long distance full service move from San Diego to San Francisco. I cannot emphasize enough how extremely professional and painless the move was. They came to our home in San Diego on a Monday and packed our entire home in a few hours, wrapped and packed it all. On Tuesday they packed our things into their truck - dissembling our bed and mounted tv with ease and packed everything to perfection. On Wednesday they arrived in San Francisco to unload the truck into our new place. Everything arrived in perfect condition and they had no issues running up and down our SF stairs! We had a super heavy grill that needed to be moved to our top floor deck and they had no problems lifting it up all the stairs (thank you soooooo much!!). Not only were Hulk Movers great at moving - the entire process from start to finish was easy and transparent. They provided accurate quotes, email receipts, text message reminders and clear ETAs. Scheduling the movers was very easy over the phone and through text. Vi and Rocky came right on time early in the morning and helped us move from our one bedroom apartment and a storage unit into our two bedroom apartment. They worked quickly and were careful with our furniture and things. I appreciated their good attitude during the whole time. Overall, it took 8 hours. Next time, I think having three movers would be the way to go. I am glad we found Hulk Movers through Yelp's quoting service. Good overall experience! Very communicative leading up to the move date. They arrived early and worked extremely hard the entire time. My only suggestion would be for the movers to bring refillable water bottles with them. Unfortunately, all my glasses were packed away in boxes, so we went out and purchased beverages for them. My truly AMAZING team, consisting of Yermek, the fabulous Team Leader, Kanat and Baurjan, his equally fantastic assistants, HONESTLY went "Over and Above" with their CARE!!, professionalism, POLITE Manners, INGENUITY, and so much more!! My team had the difficult task of loading a U-Pack 28 ft trailer but only using about 12 feet of it (as U-Pack charges by sq ft used) PLUS not having a wall to put up at the end of my belongings (as U-Pack was out - - not good!!) for my cross-country move. My AWESOME, CREATIVE TEAM fashioned a "wall" out of my belongings AND secured moving blankets for privacy and security!! Can you believe these wonderful guys?! I needed to store my items between moving out of my old place and into my new one. The crew moving my stuff out was three hours late (the window I was given was 12-4 but they didn't show up until 7) and it was at an inconvenient time. They moved quickly and were able to get the job done in less than 1hr which I appreciate. The storage solution was great. The crew to move my stuff into my new place a few days later worked very quickly and I was quite pleased with that experience. I gave these guy's an excellent rating the first time i used them to bring furniture from upstairs to downstairs. The charities will not go upstairs for furniture ie Father Joes. I was happy with their service so I hired them again to move what I was keeping to a second house. I was very happy again until I noticed the next morning that a box which I packed (I packed every box) had a box which had fallen into said box, another words the box was missing 90% of the contents (expensive porcelain LLADROS)? I'm not saying they were stolen but I am saying I believe they were broken due to dropping the box while loading but insted of just telling me about it they removed the broken pieces hoping I would not notice. Are you kidding me? It was plain as day that not everything made it to my house during the move. I called the the business and i assume it was the owner because he is hard to understand. He said did you look in other boxes about 10 times like the objects jumped from one box into another packed box? He had nothing to do with the trying to pull the wool over my eyes but he did not offer a remedy which did and is still bugging me. Just beware of sneaky moving practices... Best movers period ! We were moving from Sacramento to San Diego and this was our first time doing movers . Nick have us the best experience and made it 100% stress free. He showed up on time on move day , him an his workers were so nice and efficient. They loaded everything up so fast on 4/27 and made it to San Diego on time the next day in 4/28 and unloaded just as quick. I recommend them to everyone , there great ! I called an got quotes from so many companies for my long distant move and Hulk movers was the best choice . The quote he emailed me was the exact number I ended up paying after they unloaded I only had to pay a deposit before pick up. I chose them because they gave the lowest quote while having mostly 5 star reviews. It was a good thing that I decided to hire full service movers. It would have probably cost more if I'd rented a truck and just hired load/unload service. Overall, their service was great. They arrived on time, took extra care with loading/unloading and completed the job within reasonable time. They even subtracted from the charges the little time they took for lunch and gas. We hired Hulk Movers to move an entire historical society collection requiring careful handling of very odd sized objects and many shelves. They carefully plastic wrapped many items needing extra protection. The movers were quite strong and managed to move everything without any problems. Ruben and his partner were fantastic movers. They texted me the night before to verify my move date and they called me when they were 30minutes away. When they arrived they immediately began to work. They worked efficiently and never slowed down. They carried a total of 4000 pounds of furniture and appliances up two flights of stairs and did break anything. These guys were great from the start! The day before the move, I received another confirmation about what time they would arrive. The day of, they called to let me know they were on their way. I've never used movers before and wasn't sure how this would work. Three movers showed up and took care of everything. They worked hard for five hours.
