Banana pudding cheesecake: 10/10, very tasty and a crowd favorite. Strawberry cheesecake: 8/10, delicious! Pecan Carmel cheesecake: 10/10, amazing my favorite dessert that we got. Toffee cookie: 10/10, gooey and soft. Blueberry white chocolate macadamia nut cookie: 10/10, very good!! Turtle brownie: 10/10, very rich and perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or tall glass of milk. Overall I would recommend the cheesecake and cookies. We didn't get any cupcakes but they looked good. The pound cake I would skip. All of the cakes were dry and honestly tasted like cake mix instead of homemade. Still good but I wasn't blown away. Get there early to have your pickings. I arrived 10 minutes before they opened on a Saturday and was 4th in line. Inside is small but welcoming and cozy.

It was hard making a decision, as they had cake, slices, cupcakes, cookies, and cheesecakes. I got the strawberry lemonade cookie, the Oreo cupcake, and the caramel banana pudding. I meant to get the Blondie and totally forgot....

Anyway, I really liked the filling inside the Oreo cupcake. It was very light and whipped-like. The buttercream on top was a little too thick for me. The banana pudding was excellent. Next time I'll have to try the banana pudding with strawberries. The strawberry lemonade cookie was different, just my style! It tasted more like a lemon cookie, but I've only had one bite so far. I'm so glad I finally got to try this place. I can see what all the commotion is about. Can't wait to try more of their items!

Banana pudding: how revolutionary could it be? Well let me tell you, Hunnie Butter makes a life changing banana pudding. I hesitate to say anything is the best ever, but this is the easily best banana pudding I've ever had. I've had legendary Magnolia banana pudding as well as many others and I have to say Hunnie Butter's pudding is leaps and bounds better than all the rest. There are flecks of vanilla beans throughout and it's such a rich, yet somehow light flavor. It's simply outstanding. 100/100. I also tried their peach cobbler cookie, also amazing, especially if you love peach cobbler and creative additions to snickerdoodles. Got a toffee cookie too, it was so decadent. Cookies are MASSIVE, by the way and can easily be shared by two or more people. I got a slice of lemon pound cake and red velvet layer cake for my husband and tasted both - I don't know how Mrs. Hunnie Butter makes her cakes so moist and tender but they're unlike any other cake I've ever had.

The lemon cake was punchy and tart yet had that delicious sweet glaze, while the red velvet cake was rich and moist and the cream cheese frosting was bright and almost lemony? It helped keep it tasting light which was a really nice...

surprise. I also got a cupcake (the seasonal Lil Debbie - like a little Debbie Christmas tree cake!) and a strawberry cheesecake for my kids to split but we haven't tried them yet. They look incredible though! All in all, everything I tried was super high quality and tasted absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic too and definitely worth waiting for. Keep in mind this is a small business run by a very talented wife and husband and it is NOT fast food. Yes, I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes or so, but it was all very much worth it, especially to enjoy these baked goodies but to support this wonderful family too.

Great bakery, they do sell out before their listed closing hours. I definitely recommend early arrival if you want multiple options to choose from. They do post to their social media story when supply for the day is low as well as if they've already sold out. It's located in a small strip mall so parking is not great.They do not limit quantities on items except cookies since cookies can be pre ordered.

Yes, go to Honey Bunnies lol HONEYBUTTER!!! The inside is family friendly. Nice place for friend/kid play dates with sugar snacks. I love the Cheesecake Biscotti cupcake but alas it's not a cupcake it's an individual cheesecake. OMG-it tasted as if dropped out of heaven. Seriously amazing, drove home to Queen Creek to enjoy snacks to go with my slice of serenity. Yes, Service was great. I'm not the city girl & I had hard time finding it this gem. It's actually easy to find-it's next to the gentleman's club which we're praying for. Yes, if you wanna treat yourself definitely go to this place. If you wanna bring a friend that has kids I highly encourage it. It's clean and adorable. 5 star delicious I would definitely recommend this place and bring these scrumptious snacks to people you love!

Dear Hunnie Butter, how do you expect me to resist a favorite treat from my childhood!? The Hostess Ho-Ho?? C'mon!! Like, you guys even got the frosting right (but better). We all know treats like this don't taste the same as they did back on the day, so thank you for a piece of nostalgia. This cupcake was devoured. Nom nom!

Wow! What a great bakery! I tried the 7-up cake, chocolate chip cookie, mini cheesecake, and a chocolate cupcake. Sadly I got there a bit late and they were out of banana pudding. All of the items I got were delicious! Such a cute bakery and the owners are wonderful. I am excited to go back and order more things, but I must get there earlier. I know they sell out of things pretty quickly. It's a very popular place!

Hunnie Butter is a black owned small business that has entered the game and is doing it BIG! They should be very proud with what they provide to the community and I am happy to see them thriving and have a strong support of loyal customers. The variety of desserts you can find at this shop is limited to cakes, pound cakes, puddings, cupcakes, and cookies. They offer pop up or seasonal desserts like pies during the holidays. Overall the quality and taste of desserts is what creates a loyal fan base for them. They are consistent and offer great tasting options when you have a sweet tooth. My only con is the wait times and limited supply. They do a good job trying to keep their customers up to date with their inventory via IG stories but if you come anytime after 30 mins of opening you start to really get limited options as it is first come first serve basis and most of the times that I go people tend to stock up. I also know that the owner has vocalized that this a husband and wife team and that's how they will continue to do business but I really think getting an extra person hands on to help with getting the line through quicker can really be beneficial but that's just my two cents. Overall this is a great shop. If you're able to make it down it is definitely worth it, just very big advice to get there right at opening if you have your eye on something specifically. P.S. Hands down the BEST tres leches cake to EXIST! :)

I have been meaning to check this place out for a few months. So happy I got the opportunity too. The only thing I'm upset about is the fact that I could not try everything they had. I was "good" and limited myself to only three things. I got the Snickerdoodle cookie, coconut oatmeal chocolate cookie, and turtle brownie. And when I tell you all three were absolutely delicious! I was greeted and felt very welcomed upon entering. Bright and vibrant decor. And it smelled divine as soon as I open the door! I definitely cannot wait to come back and try more things

We arrived at 10:30 a.m. on a Friday. They don't open until 11, but there was already a line forming. Hunnie Butter was cozy, and the owner knew several people by name and greeted them with a warm, friendly greeting. I got a cookie, a blondie, and one of the cheesecake variations. All three were so good. I can see why people line up before opening to purchase some baked goods. I would definitely return!

I saw a picture of their cake online and being pregnant I HAD to go and try it. I was not disappointed and I can absolutely see why this place has 5 stars. The shop is so cute and clean and the staff were so incredibly patient and kind. I tried the chocolate cake, a version of pound cake and the carrot cake cupcake. They were all absolutely delicious, moist and flavorful. If I could give this place more stars I would.

1 of 1! I truly enjoy this bakery. They have a great variety of cookies, cakes, cupcakes, bars, puddings and more. Every week they have a few specialty items and they also have a few core items that are always there. They keep their instagram updated with the menu of the week. The staff there are super friendly and always helpful. I really enjoy their pound cakes and even went through the process of getting a custom cake from them which was seamless! Definitely recommend stopping by this place!

Great desserts! Be sure to come early because they sell out after a couple hours. I came at 12:30pm on a Thursday and was there for about 30 min due to there being a line outside (and it opened at 11am). They sold out by 1:30pm so be sure to check their instagram for updates. My faves were the key lime pie and banana pudding cheesecake. The taste and texture were perfect, the key lime was the right amount of tart without being sour. Also tried the strawberry cheesecake, carrot cake, and chocolate chip cookie. I'm not usually a fan of carrot cake but I thought theirs was good. The cookie was yummy but just a little underbaked for me. Total about $35 for those 5 items. I liked that everything comes in slices or cupcakes so you can taste a few things all at once. One of the owners was also nice enough to explain what all of the desserts in the display were. I would definitely come here again. And next time I'll stop by Esso for an iced drink before waiting outside in the heat!

I was really excited to stop in and check out Hunnie Butter! This is a husband and wife owned business and they make everything from scratch. The wife was baking away and the husband was running the front of the house. He patiently went through ALL of their items in the case to explain what each was. I got 2 cupcakes and 3 different pound cakes, pineapple coconut, sock it to me and a peach cobbler. All were really great but my favorite was the pineapple coconut! They were all packed with flavor and not dry at all. I'll be back soon!

My husband loves pound cake so I was trying to get ahead of his June birthday and have him sample some of the slices at Hunnie Butter. I like that you can buy just one slice rather than drop $70 on a whole cake. You can tell the place is popular as there were already about seven people in line in the small shop when I arrived. The woman who runs the register is unwaveringly friendly and helpful. (I think I spoke to her on the phone as well.) I'm guessing she must be one of the owners. Such a nice, nice person, We tried the 7-Up, Peach Cobbler, and Lemon Blueberry pound cakes and would rank them in that order - favorite to least favorite. All were made well, just personal preference. I'm not sure we will drive 30 minutes from home to purchase a whole 7-Up cake (original plan) but because of the wonderful service and care put into their baking, if you live in the area you should check them out. read more

Friends and I stopped by this spot after a great brunch at Scramble because we were craving something sweet -- and wow, it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and given the best tour of the offerings. The staff gave great suggestions based on our preferences, and the customer service was top-notch. We even got to meet the owners, a wonderful husband-and-wife team, who were so friendly and accommodating. We tried them about two weeks prior and everything was wonderful so just ended a basketball tournament and decided to slide through. Cute bakery with tasty treats, serving pound cake slices, cupcakes, cookies and cobbler. The service is good and the establishment is clean. I've had the 7up pound cake slice which was super delicious. On a second occasion, I had the peach cobbler. Make sure you arrive early with time to spare as they sell out. It's kinda hard to see the bakery sign, but please know it's located at the corner of the strip of establishments. read more

Love this place and it's even better (dangerous?) that it's within walking distance from my house. The banana pudding is incredible. I haven't tried the caramel one but the original is great. Cookies are also amazing. Love a local business and hope this one is here to stay! read more

I went to Hunnie Butter today as soon as I got off the plane. This is my second time coming and I have nothing but positive things to say about the bakery. Jonathan and Jasmine are not only AMAZING bakers but they are great people as well. They create a very friendly environment not only for my sister and I but also for the rest of their guests as well. If you live in the Phoenix metropolitan or even in Arizona for that matter, I HIGHLY recommend coming here. I always look forward to coming to Hunnie Butter any chance I come out to AZ. read more

I've been here around 3 times and I absolutely love the desserts! Every time I've came Jonathan has helped me and has been very nice and informative! This recent time I went Jasmine came over to us, which was super cool because I've followed her for a while and she has never said anything to me when I came to visit; but she came to tell me to stop kicking the bottom of the display. (I wasn't, my two year old niece was) which was beyond awkward but nonetheless the desserts we got were great as always. read more

I have been following this bakery on social media for a while now and yesterday I had the opportunity to stop by and get my hands on some treats. The bakery is a small but cute shop, but the products they are producing are as big as a football stadium. This is not your typical bakery . Everything is made from scratch and it tastes like it . I bought one of everything and one thing I don't normally eat is red velvet however Hunnie Butter Red Velvet is UNDEFEATED!!!!! I had the opportunity to meet the owner and the staff and their customer service was awesome . I will definitely be back to get my fix . One thing I must say on Saturday's they open at 9am and it was a line because they will sell out before closing time. read more

Great find. A friend of mine reminded me of this place and I'm so glad he did! I just wanted to pick up a special cupcake but once there realized I wasn't getting out with just a cupcake. There was a line out the door for good reason. Their products are great and well worth any wait you may encounter. My tip is to get there early and just be prepared to wait otherwise you may miss out on your new favorite. This is a small family owned business with limited so check before you go to make sure they are open. I find the owners delightful and friendly even if they are dealing with crowds. My new go to place for those special occasions. read more

The cakes we got were okay but maybe because of their IG following I expected more. It was okay but not great enough for their prices. But we also did go when they were about to close so maybe it was just the last cakes they had (not a lot of variety). The building is cute and good for kids. Service was good. read more

Hunnie Butter did our wedding cake which was absolute perfection, but I recently went back just for some carrot cake slices for my wife's birthday. The only hard part was the anxiety of standing in line watching the carrot cake fly off the shelf as customers ahead of me clearly knew how good it is! But I got the last 2 slices and they were as amazing as I'd hoped they'd be!! Best tip is get there early because her regulars are lined up by opening time! read more

I'm so serious when I say that my entire family back in California is in love after I brought with me a huge haul of treats for everyone to try for this past Christmas, and me and my wife personally have been frequent customers since they opened, the only complaint I have about this place is that they're so damn good I'm gonna struggle sticking to my New Year's resolution to get fit! In all seriousness though the owners are the most wonderful people and I absolutely enjoy stopping in for a treat and some wonderful conversation, it feels like I'm visiting family every time I stop in! I can't give Hunnie Butter enough praise. We have been a few times now and every treat we get is delicious! Hunnie Butter did the cake and desserts for our wedding and people could not stop talking about how amazing they were. They were so easy to work with and addressed any and all concerns we had to make sure everything was perfect. We are still dreaming of our wedding cake. Go earlier in the day if you can because they do sell out quickly! read more

I'm giving three stars because I feel like the place has potential and most of their items are good. However, it is very hard to support the place with their limited hours. I drove 40 minutes here last Saturday wasted my gas and all because their shelves were completely empty. I came for the banana pudding not one on the shelf and they had just opened. I'm guessing they only make a certain amount for all the days they are open and if they run out on the first day you just missed out because they are not going to make any more for the other two days they are open. Then when it's mentioned to them preferable the husband he looks at you like he can careless. read more

Where to begin? We were visiting our son and his girlfriend from out of state, and wanted to pick up some sweet treats to take to them. We looked for bakeries near them and found Hunnie Butter with 5 star reviews. We got in line and immediately were engaged in conversations by the people ahead of and behind us in line -- clearly regular patrons. They knew the whole menu, made recommendations and even suggested that we put the toffee cookie on the dashboard of our car while we ran errands, to get it nice and warm and gooey. We had the toffee cookie, macadamia cookie, sweet potato praline cheesecake, peach pound cake -- all delicious! We also bought a strawberry shortcake (cheesecake?) cupcake and a blondie with caramel that we didn't get to eat before we left town -- so they were left for the young folks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the prices were very reasonable, and the sweet treats were phenomenal. We will definitely be back when we are in Phoenix. read more

This is amazing! I found them on Instagram and have been blown away by my experiences. My first order was a Key Lime Pie for Mother's Day...My wife lives Key Lime Pie and really enjoyed it. When I picked up the pie I was blown away by the customer service and family feel. The gentleman took the time to explain every cupcake option they had with a warm smile and great charisma. He helped me pick out some must have selections from cake slices to cookies...oh and that amazing Peach cobbler...simply delicious! Fast forward to June 1st, I found myself in Phoenix with my daughter and realized I was only about 12 mins from the shop so we stopped in and guess what......the same amazing experience....we reloaded on some cookies, cake and tried the Caramel Blonde which was FIRE!!!! I may have to ask about a whole one for the next family gathering. I normally don't write reviews but this place is special and deserves the praise because they are doing business right. One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! I definitely recommend this sweet treat to others.

The decor is super adorable, but honestly, the food is what really stood out. We ordered the Tom Kha, Pad Thai, and combination fried rice, and everything was so good. The Pad Thai had amazing flavor. We got everything at a medium spice level, which was perfect for me. I also loved that they let you choose from mild all the way up to extra Thai hot...my fiancé loves super spicy food, so that was a big plus since not every place offers that. We ate everything between the two of us. That's how good it was. The service was also great. He kept checking in on us without being over the top, which I appreciated.

I don't believe the server knew how to handle the less than formal style of the group I was with, but they did not turn us away and provided phenomenal service. The drinks had elegant garnish, and were well made. The most complicated might have been a vodka soda, but the additional touch was nice. For a start we ordered the oysters, which was kept everyone stuck between being nice and fair, and wanting to take all for themselves. We also ordered the octupus which was very good. For my main, I had the salmom rillete. Well made and pesented - I only thought to take pictures after I ate. Our group was never rushed for the bill and we enjoyed a beautiful evening sitting on their porch. I am looking forward to going back more "prepared" and enjoying their seabass or beef bourguignon.

I chose to sit at the bar, which turned out to be the best decision. I tried the oysters, the escargot, and the burnt Madeleine dessert--each one was absolutely delicious. But the highlight of my experience was the bartender. He was young, charismatic, and made such great conversation. As a visitor, he made me feel genuinely welcome, which really elevated the entire experience. I believe his name was John C. (though for some reason I thought it was Liam!). Either way, he was fantastic. The gimlet he made incredible and expresso martini even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant--definitely sit at the bar if you can!

Jasmine and Jonathan are amazing! Locally owned and operated! I work in the same strip mall so they see me all the time the cupcakes and cookies are devine!
