Usually at other KBBQ spots, you have to request the servers to change the grill, but at this KBBQ spot, they change it without having to ask! I love how fast the service is too. Have been going to both Hwaro locations for years and have invited big groups of family to try the once delicious food. After today August 2024, I will never ever be going back or referring friends and family to visit this establishment. After the appetizer I ordered, I started to become ill and nauseous. I'm not sure if it's the negligence of the cook staff or an item menu change. However, the general manager (ARIELLE) was not helpful at all and this made me believe that this person does not care for their customers or their wellbeing. It's sad that this is the person they named manager doesn't think making someone ill is a BIG deal. It is not something to mess around with. I hope a new manager is put in place or the owner instills in the manager that taking care of a customer's well being is important. I understand this is a business and you make money but if you continue to have neglectful/ negligent staff you will continue to lose more and more customers. I'm am very disappointed! read more

Made reservations and we came with a large party but even though we made reservations we still have to wait an hour to get seated. Walking it the location is bigger than Hwaro 1 but with how slippery the floor was from the grease it was really hard to walk to our table. Thankfully it wasn't smokey but definitely very slippery. Since we were a large table we were separated which is fine but our server was very rude and slow when we wanted to pay. It took a good 20 minutes after we got cut off from ordering to pay our bill. I understand splitting checks for a large party is difficult but it shouldn't have taken so long since pur party was split to two tables. The food was very bland and nothing special. Always love @ Hwaro 2. I love the part that you can actually book yourself via Yelp and it's easy and very savvy. If ever u need to rebook, it's easy and hassle free. This location is much more of big and spacious. The staffs are more accommodating and approachable. Service is okay - as it was an AYCE KBBQ there is no really above and beyond experience aside from the fact that there is actually someone available for you to look for your server. We tried this place out because we had AYCE KBBQ the night before and decided we wanted more. We decided on Hwaro 2 because of the late night happy hour. We used the online waitlist on yelp and were seated in the predicted time, which is always nice. It's a small restaurant where everybody can see everybody, and even a disco ball. The first thing of note, service was great. We ordered and the food was out swiftly. Our drinks came out quick. And the best part of the service, our grill was changed frequently without us having to ask. For us only paying $26 for happy hour, the meat was very high quality. Most AYCE skimp and your meat has a ton of nasty connective tissue, but not here. Me and my SO both had different favorite dishes, which is always a good sign that it isn't a "one reason to go" type restaurant. Also to note, we did get a free drink for leaving a review. I came back and edited after we ate. The drinks were probably the weakest part of our meal, we would probably get the buy one get one 50% off soju if we got drinks again. Overall this is a very easy recommend for KBBQ enjoyers. read more

Went here today and I must say I won't be back. Windows were dirty and smeary, the bathroom door and walls were dirty, the whole restaurant itself felt grimy and just plain dirty. I was impressed they had Tomahawk steak. The prime steak was the best! Their menu has a lot to choose from!! The food is great overall, and I recommend giving them a try. I am very sad I did not see things sliced beef belly as an option. I will go back again and double-check that. I have been there twice, so far. Time limit: You have only a 1 hour time frame to order your food. They will let you know when it's "last call" to order. Their time limit is the shortest of all AYCE I have been to. Parking: They are part of a strip mall, so the parking is always full. Inside: clean, noise is medium level, I like the ambiance. Their booths are very big, lots of room and tabletop space. Very small stand-up waiting space inside, like only 6-8 people can stand and wait inside. Room temperature is ok, not too hot and not too cold. Service: For the most part, service is good.
