We usually go to Master Kim's, Chubby Cattle, or 888 Japanese BBQ, but they all close at midnight. Since it was already 11:45 PM, Miu won by default. A heads up: on weekends there's no Menu A, only B and C. If you want Wagyu, you'll have to get Menu C ($45/person). The Wagyu was just okay. They start you off with a fancy-looking box of assorted Wagyu, but honestly not all of the cuts were worth the hype. After that, the only AYCE Wagyu options are belly and brisket. The surprise MVP? The Wagyu slider. SO good. I'd honestly come back just to order five of those. The misses... the sushi was rough. The rice was mushy and wet, and none of the fried food impressed us. The gyoza, karaage, and soft shell crab all missed the mark. The scallops were unfortunately a no for us too. Service was hit or miss. The older server with the "BTS" name tag kept messing up our order and was pretty rude when reminding us about the 90 minute limit. Meanwhile, Raelynn was an absolute sweetheart and completely changed the vibe of our meal. She's the reason this is a 4 star review instead of a 3. One last thing... they didn't turn on the ventilation over our table until about an hour into dinner. We were basically being slow smoked. By the time we left, we smelled like we worked the grill. Total was about $130 for two people (including one drink). Not my favorite AYCE spot in Vegas, but if you need Korean BBQ after midnight, it'll definitely get the job done. Had to go here because our first option 888 Korean bbq was full for the night. The meats were dry to the point even the pork in the tonkatsu was so chewy and not swallowable. The sushi however was fantastic! So fresh and great rice ratio. Mochi ice cream for dessert was yummy and the ube scoop was good but the vanilla flavor is the cheap little cup pre packaged one which was icy this time around so beware of that. We were seated immediately and the service was fair. It looked cute inside though. I would not go back on my own accord because nothing stood out to me. read more

This has to be one of my top 3 favorite AYCE Japanese BBQ and sushi restaurant. Between the exceptional customer service and top tier selection I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. As soon as my husband and I walked into the restaurant we were instantly greeted and seated. Our server was very polite and efficient when taking down our orders. We decided to go with the C Course which included the Wagyu Sampler and all of the menu items. All of the appetizers came out really fast and our server was consistently checking on us to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. I was really excited to try out the Wagyu sampler because there were a few cuts of meat that I'd never tried before. It was decent quality, but my favorites of the meats were definitely the brisket, ribeye, and the top sirloin. The appetizers were very tasty and I loved wrapping all of the meats in radish wraps then adding kimchi on top for the perfect bite. The sushi was pretty good, but the star of the meal was definitely the Blue Fin Toro. It had a nice buttery texture with a ton of rich umami flavors. Euan was amazing! He was so attentive, made sure our grill was always changed, meats and dishes were continuously coming out and drinks were always refilled. We solely would come back just to see Euan. The meat quality was good, fresh and tender. We did combo B for reference. It had everything and more. Came in around 1:30 PM on Sunday, not too busy at first, got busier around 3:30-4. Lots of tables and menu options, with course B around $33 and course C around $45. Hyang and team are amazing, everyone checked up on us almost every 3-5 minutes to make sure we had everything needed. Service itself was 10/10! Menus have two sides with sushi and meats on the other. The sushi was okay, lots of sauces to support the fish. Would recommend the MGM, wagyu sliders, and the garlic beef belly. Went off the Strip looking for Japanese BBQ and ended up in a pretty rundown strip mall--honestly had a moment of hesitation pulling in. Glad we stayed. They run a simple A/B/C menu, but they push you to decide before you even sit down. Not ideal--I like a minute to look things over--but our waitress stepped in and helped guide us, which made it easy. The tabletop BBQ is the highlight--cooking your own meat always adds to the experience. We mixed in some sushi as well, and everything was solid. Nothing over-the-top, but definitely satisfying. Service stood out. They were attentive and constantly swapping out the grill tops (I think five times), which kept everything clean and moving. We came here because they offered Japanese BBQ and sushi AYCE together. It was the weekend, so they only offered menu option B and C. We went with B because there was a good selection of sushi nigiri and sushi rolls to choose from. The bone in short rib and short ribs were pretty good. Brisket was a little dry but pork jowl and pork belly were thinly sliced, tender and juicy. We enjoyed the salmon, lemon salmon and yuzu yellow tail nigiri. The lobster roll we ordered was pretty good. Iced water tasted great and was filtered water. Service was excellent. Our service from Euan and the rest of the staff was amazing. My first time in a Japanese BBQ and I would say, this is so much better than Korean BBq's with lots of options to choose, from different cuts of meat to sushi, nigiri and rolls. They also have ramen, udon, different sides and it comes with dessert too with a choice of ice cream or mochi ice cream or get different flavors of Japanese cheesecake and other desserts if you upgrade to Menu C. Menu A was $27.95, Menu B was $35.95 and Menu C was $46.95, we ordered the Menu B. Each diner can only order one ribeye steak, one bone in and boneless short rib steaks but the rest of the meat is unlimited. They also had baked mussels, takoyaki, shrimps, various sushi options and whole bunch of different meat. One of my son's favorite was the garlic brisket, it was delicious. The ribeye comes with rosemary, which adds flavor to the steak. The restaurant is clean and pretty, the bathrooms are clean as well and the food was delicious and service was fast. Return or not return? 100% return though lots of service issues. Have never seen anything like this. I've tried many AYCE sushi BBQ restaurants in LV. Probably among the better ones. Appears Korean owned like many of the others and it comes across in the menu offerings. Quality of most items were quite good as we selected the top tier option. Here are the issues. - horrible place for a group of 6 or more. We were 7 and squished. Little room even for the food. - in the pictures, they show nice little box sets for one, but the problem when you have 7 people is they group all foods on one massive tray and then gets really confusing who gets what. - it was comical how many items were never delivered to our table by the end of the night. - please stop treating wasabi like it's gold. You literally get a drop of it. No joke and I wish I took a picture. Of course you can ask for more, but good luck flagging anyone down amidst the chaos. Having said all this, our waiter Emilio was a really good sport, and tried his best. All of the waitstaff were also generally friendly, but it was truly chaotic. I honestly do not know how this place got this many stars. First off, the staff were friendly but our server keeps disappearing half of the service, she was no where to be found. We chose the C course which included the wagyu meat. The meat was chewy and is not tender nor great. Most of the meat cuts were not eatable because of how chewy it was. Appetizers came in super late and the japanese cheese cake tasted like literal card board. Dare I say one of the best AYCE spots with top-quality meats and fish in Vegas? We got the C tier, and everything we had was delicious and the presentation was one of the best I've ever seen at an AYCE place. My favorite item was definitely the toro in both the handrolls and the nigiris! Their BBQ selection is also delicious, with the most tender cuts of wagyu that melt in your mouth. The crispy rice was crispy and I loved how saucy and flavorful the fish was, we got it twice! I came here extremely hungry and left this place feeling so satisfied! The ambiance is beautiful and the service is great. I would definitely reccomend getting the C tier because its bang for your buck. There was no line on a Sunday at noon, but you can make reservations online to secure your spot because it does get busy! Five stars doesn't do this place justice. We were able to make a reservation online, which made everything so easy--no long wait like at a lot of other places. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was so pleasant and welcoming. From ordering to being consistently checked on, the service was truly top tier. Our servers--and honestly everyone there--were amazing. The Japanese barbecue was just as impressive, with everything being delicious and high quality. The best part they will constantly monitor your grill and see if you need a change without having to continually flag someone down. This was the day right after EDC, so maybe that played a factor, but service was really slow here. I joined the waitlist around 7 PM on a Monday, and the expected seating time was 2 hours later at 9 PM. No worries, I'll just wait at the hotel and explore the area a bit once it's closer to 9. Get there around 9, check in with host, and they let me know it's gonna be around 30-40 minutes till a table is available. Understanding that it is still post EDC and there is a rush, I go back to my car to just wait, but it ends up being another hour. Finally, we get seated, our server (Steven I think...?) introduces everything, we place our orders. Everything takes minimum 20 minutes to arrive and comes in weird rounds. We ordered three miso soups, but since they were almost out, we just got one bowl which ended up being the bottom of the pot, super salty. Ordered corn ribs as well, took 30 minutes, and yet was somehow cold..? If you ask for their sauces, they give them out individually in these foil cups, so make sure to mention that it's for X amount of people in your group (if everyone wants one). On the topic of sauces, they have an item on the menu called "matcha salt" but it's just matcha powder. Kinda weird but whatever. Want to mention that a lot of our banchan never came, even after repeatedly asking, like sushi rice, garlic butter, radish, etc. Moving on to meats, those came last, around the 40 minute mark, man are the servings small. They only let out party of 3 order 5 at a time, make sure you order ALL 5, otherwise you're set to wait again. Meat was alright, nothing crazy, hits the spot as a recovery meal. Again, order all 5 meats, the servings are small and time between orders is tremendous. Alongside BBQ, they offer sushi, but I'd just skip that entirely. It seems like they could barely handle the BBQ side of things, so the sushi was definitely neglected on our part. We ordered the baked salmon roll, which was like an open cone of sorts, and the eel standard roll, which never came. My gripes came when our grill was clearly empty and we were just sitting around doing nothing, and our server barely came in to check on us or the status of our food. Once we were done with our first round, we placed a second round, and that took another 20 minutes or so. I must have had some serious RBF, since another server (Jen) actually came up and checked up on the status of our orders. That was some relief, and shortly after that, some of our food did arrive. Even then, third round ordered also took another 20 minutes after ordering, so most of our time was sitting around, but I'm glad Jen kept checking in and apologized for the wait. Finished up our meal that ended up being nearly 2 hours with some ice cream. Definitely recommend the ube flavor, green tea not so much. Strawberry was nice, had some bits of strawberry inside. Overall, I'm not sure if it was just because of the occasion, but I wouldn't wait for this spot again. It's "Japanese" BBQ, but the grill is still Korean style. Looking around the rest of the tables, it seemed like everyone else was experiencing a great delay in their orders. The slow service is definitely not worth 3 hours wait, but it was the only option with a waitlist open to join online, so we made do with that. Maybe this place is better on a regular weeks, but post EDC was not it. TLDR; long waits (seating and food orders), slow service, out of stock items, and nothing outstanding to note. read more

Stepping into Miu feels like I am in Japanese night market with all the stand flags and neon lighting. It looks super cute inside. They have 3 menus to choose from which was listed outside. We were actually on our way to eat at a different restaurant but decided to go here instead because the price $26.95 was good for their A Course menu. It has all the classic cuts like brisket, pork belly, and beef belly which are my general go-tos anyways. They also had a good selection on standard and special rolls. The meat quality was good. I really enjoyed the matcha and garlic salt. It really paired well with the meats. Service was really good from the host stand to table service. They kept our table clean by continually clearing plates and our server Allana checked on us frequently. I really enjoyed the food and service. I will be back. read more

I went here with a group and it was a fun experience with a bustling atmosphere, great food and friendly people. The only downside to this location is the parking area. It's a nightmare trying to find parking but eventually we did and were on our way. It's Korean bbq with the addition of sushi and that's such a great fusion. We ordered so much it's hard to recall everything but the crispy rice sushi was delicious - I had 3 orders of it. The meats all tasted fresh and were well prepared. Top sirloin and bulgogi were my favorites but the brisket was pretty good as well. The garlic tuna was delightful, and the shishito peppers arrived with fish flake and were so good. Our server was very friendly and attentive with how busy it was, and the other servers were periodically checking in on us too so we never had to wait long for anything. 10/10 for the restaurant, 10/10 for the staff, 8/10 for the parking, I would absolutely recommend giving MIU a try! read more

If you like 888 Japanese, you'll enjoy MIU. We chose the C menu, and liked the variety of premium meats and seafood offered. The Wagyu sampler was presented very nicely, labeled by cut. I enjoyed the thinly sliced beef, particularly when wrapped with the pickled radish and jalapeños, which provided freshness to the rich meats. The sushi is not the tastiest or freshest, but it does scratch the itch. Salmon & tuna wasn't great, and the fish-to-rice ratio wasn't favorable. But the scallops and hand rolls were good. I would go elsewhere if you prefer a sushi-centered meal. The ice cream and mochi were solid deserts, but the Javanese chocolate cheesecake was floury and quite dry. Service from Jennifer BTS was excellent. She gave good guidance on the extensive menu and very courteous service.
