Food was amazing, atmosphere was super chill and the staff was great. Especially Jenna our server, everything was perfect!

I'd like to start off by saying I love the original Hwaro and have never had anything bad to say about it or it's staff. With that in mind let's talk about my recent dining experience at the Hwaro 2 location. Our meal started out great. We were sat and the ordering commenced, but about a half hour into our meal we started to have a hard time being able to continue ordering from our server, also the grates on our grill were not being changed sufficiently and things began to burn rather than cook. About an hour into our meal I started to get the feeling of being rushed and pressured to finish up our meals, ordering more options became even more difficult as our sever was pushed to help the small tables and left our party to try and flag down anyone who walked by. I know that the limit is 90mins for the entirety of ordering but 60 mins into our meal we were pressured to wrap it up and couldn't even order any of the premium seafood options. If you've been to a Korean bbq you know that is not a super cheap meal and it's nice to be able to try a little of everything for the price you're paying. After it was all said and done, I can say I will not be returning to this location or recommending it to anyone. We were a party of 8 and the bill was not small to say the least for what we actually ate and were allowed to order didn't even make it to half of the bill amount. With so many options in our amazing city for Asian dining choose a different venue for your party or dinner. read more

Our waitress was phenomenal and the food was excellent. Only waited 30 minutes to get in and the meat was served quickly and the grills were switched out before anything could burn and get stuck. Can't recommend this enough. read more

This was one of the WORST restaurant experiences of my LIFE. 25$ dinner turned into a 80$ NIGHTMARE. A group of our friends came in to celebrate 2 of their birthdays and about every 10 minutes the waiters or cooks had fucked something up. My friend told the waiter she was vegetarian and they suggested tofu soup but when the soup came out there was a big shrimp floating in the soup. We let them know she needs the soup without the seafood and they brought out ANOTHER tofu soup with a giant shrimp floating in it, then AGAIN brought a tofu soup with a big mussel at the bottom. She gave up on the soup at that point. We were brought out meats we didn't order and they never brought us the meats we had actually requested. They came to adjust the fire multiple times and accidentally turned it all the way off and we sat there for about 10 minutes before we could get their attention to turn it back on so we could eat. It was stuffy and hot and their over head vents weren't even on. The waiter kept talking to us about how he was an alcoholic which is very inappropriate. The waiter said they were going to comp one of our friends dinners for some reason and we thought that was nice, but that was incorrect, the waiter had just charged us the wrong table on all of our cards. Brought us tickets that said one price and after he took our cards and charged them the new tickets for us to sign ALL had an extra 12$ charge to them with no explanation. We waited for over an HOUR after we had finished eating to try and figure this issue out with the waiter and manager. The waiter had no idea what he was doing and charged one of our friends cards incorrectly 3 separate times, and everyone else's cards incorrectly twice. The waiters and manager would walk past us multiple times avoiding eye contact and not asking us what was the issue when clearly ALL of us were unhappy and confused. The manager finally came over and tried to tell us it wasn't their fault that one of us didn't eat a lot and that they can't not charge us for her, but we didn't ask for her ticket to be omitted, it was the waiter that told us that and then they come over and tell us it was our idea and our fault? You should NEVER tell a customer your mistakes are their fault and after we were already upset and tired from waiting for over an hour to pay the proper amount. The manager told us the waiter was training but he should NOT be offering free meals if he doesn't even know how to do his job properly. We tried to be understanding as half of us are servers and understand it gets busy and hectic but this was so ridiculous we couldn't sympathize with them anymore. They also said if the charges didn't come off our cards to come in and speak to them but two of us are from Seattle and that's not possible if the charges aren't cleared in 3-5 days. If the waiters and manager had come over and just communicated with us and told us what was going on it would have been so much better, but instead they avoided us, didn't let us know what was going on and charged us multiple times. Overall, terrible terrible experience i'll never be coming here again and I hope no one I know ever has to experience terrible service like this. read more

My girlfriend and I ate here for my birthday and dine there frequently, we have no complaints at all! The entirety of the staff was great. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was exactly what we wanted it to be. The food was just as good, the menu is extensive and everything we ordered was fresh straight from the kitchen. If you have to choose between hwaro and hwaro 2, don't hesitate to choose hwaro 2! Amazing dining experience. If you happen to find yourself there ask for our server, Cassie! She made sure our every need was met and even got the staff together to sing happy birthday to me. Poor customer service. We all have the meat that we ordered but we waited for 34 mins for the rice. All the meat were already cold. We lost our appetite. They didn't even apologized or something. Other Korean places were good except for this one. read more

Rude! Got there around midnight on June 9th , 2022 and waited for the hostess approx 10 min. 2 women walked through the door the hostess did not acknowledge us or ask who was there first. Instead she took there names down to get a seat. I was so upset we left. I'm tired of businesses treating customers as if we don't have a say. Wasn't too please with my waitress... she did not respond very well when we asked her stuffs perhaps she gave some kind of attitude.. I meant there are many acye in Vegas. The service is very bad we came twice the first time server didn't really come around and then when they come we would order and then they would bring some and forget some. 2nd time we came same thing service was bad we already cooked the meat then they didn't even bring out the rice. This is there 2and location and I love coming here. The place is not as loud and more roomier with other items in the menu...I think better. Mostly parking is so much better and easier to find. Been going here ever since then opened read more

Tonight was an amazing night! Decided to come to this location instead of the main location. What a difference. The wait was next to nothing. The staff was so attentive and we had a great server Cassie. She was so sweet and explained the menu so so well. Suggestions were on point! I will definitely come back! Like seriously get your customers out for the other customers to come in. And figure out a plan. Very delicious. They picked up the phone right away for reservations rather than hwaro 1 where I called so many times but no one picked up. Come to hwaro 2 if hwaro 1 is too busy. Same ambiance as hwaro 1 and the food and quality is the same! The waiters are super nice and always attentive. 4 stars because I wanted more ice cream but they said only 1 per person and that you can't order more icecream after you finish your first one. Like I thought since it was ayce means all you can eat.... might as well be all you can eat some items. They're stingy on the icecream. read more

We love the original hwaro but it's always busy so we decided to give this location a try. Inside is really cute and I actually prefer the ambience at this location. The cons were that we waited at least 10 minutes before anyone approached us for a drink order. In fact I think we had to wave someone down. When the waitress finally came she made us feel rushed the entire time. Kept asking us about last call.... There was no one in line waiting for a table and it was 8pm??? Also it is VERY hot at this location. I think it's due to no overhead hoods, they have the kind that's built into the table and sucks down, but I don't think it's as effective. Also they messed up our order a couple times and forgot one of our ice creams at the end and each time we had to wait forever for it to be corrected. Perhaps if they brought us the correct food in a timely manner we wouldn't have been there long enough for us to be asked about last call. Though in all my years of eating AYCE sushi or KBBQ I've never been rushed to finish. Most AYCE places are heavily staffed so that they can turnover tables at a faster rate. Love love love this place. Friendly and awesome workers at this establishment. I highly recommend you go. It's worth the wait. The food is delicious. So much to choose from. Me and my husband and family members goes at least once a week. When you go, ask to be seated at Rowella's section. She is a wonderful server. So attentive and friendly. Oh, I love this place! Conveniently located off of Decatur. It has a very cute Korean market vibe inside. Service is always on point and the food is fresh and delicious. The meats are all high quality and are served quickly to your table. The japchae is very good, it has a nice toasted sesame flavor. I make sure to get it every time. Be sure to get a side of the garlic butter! I highly recommend this place. read more

All of the reviews about wait times are true. We had a reservation for 7pm and did not get seated until 7:30pm. However, we loved the food and the service provided was exceptional. Special shout out to Ryan "Dragon", I believe he is the owner of this place. He made our experience fun, entertaining, and memorable. Always a great time at Hwaro! read more

Our server was Jeniffer and she was such an attentive server. Everyone that touched our table was helpful and nice. One of my biggest pet peeves is waiting on a grill change and here I didn't even need to wait. They changed my grill pretty much between every round we got. Which is major points for me. The food came out so fast, I wanna say within 2 mins of us ordering. It was great. The service was great!!! We will definitely coming back again. :-) read more
