This is where my granddaughter wanted to go was the food court so we walked in a circle and my grandson who is nine years old wanted to try the sushi place. What he ordered was The Lion King They let us know when we ordered it that it would take some time for it to be baked and stuff so that was good. We knew ahead of time. The food court has a play area where kids can run around and play lots of tables some tables by the Windows, which is where my granddaughter wanted to sit. I honestly don't know how this place stays open. The food really is terrible. It's like they don't care what they're serving at all. We decided to eat at the food court today since it's been ages and we made the wrong decision to eat at this place. We ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and beef bulgogi bowls. I wish I had taken a picture of these to post on here as a warning to others, as they were just so sad. They tasted like frozen microwaved rice bowls. Both meats were extremely dry, had no flavor, and tasted old. The taste and texture felt like they braised the crap out of the meat weeks ago and froze the stuff they couldn't sell, only to reheat it later. The majority of the bowls were mainly rice (which was soggy) and some noodles (which were also dry and did not taste fresh). We ate a bit because we both didn't want to waste food, but left feeling like it was just a waste of $30. I can't say anything bad about the service because the workers were nice. I just wish the owners cared more about what they're selling to people. So please, don't waste your money here. Walk a few feet over and get something else instead. read more

Experienced this place as a need to eat location at the mall; deviating from the normal stuff. It was a treat to find a place that had some original and very fresh food that fed the senses and the taste buds weren't left out by no means. The udon and tempura combo I ordered was flavorful, a ton of food, tempura everything was amazing. And for $12? A steal for what you got! My only issue - speed of preparation. Not sure if this was typical or if standard preparation time, but it seemed a bit long for not too many orders ahead of me. I'll check them out again soon and see if the experience is the same. We ordered the following: 1. Spicy Jimmy Roll 2. Cherry Blossom Roll 3. Udon Vegetable Noodles w/Tempura The rolls were decent, but it was drenched in sauce. Overly sweet for me, but I get it, it appeals to the mass. Before I developed more refined sushi/sashimi/nigiri flavor profile, I liked a roll with all that sauce and more. Next time, I'll ask them to put the sauce on the side or no sauce at all. Otherwise, the fish and roll itself wasn't bad. Fish and rice ratio and amount of fish used was good, price is reasonable. The Udon Noodles wasn't the best, but it is an easy option for little kids who love their noodles. Tempura was nice and crispy. The cashier who took my order was friendly, helpful, and great! This is your typical, very basic, Japanese "fast food" food court style of food. I ordered the Sesame chicken bento, which was prepared fairly quick. What I liked in this whole set was actually just the chicken as it came out hot, and just fried...and it was pretty crispy and tasty. Not too bad! But I felt there was too much rice (maybe because I'm not a huge rice eater), and the sushi was just a very simple "California roll" mixed crabmeat with avocado - which was not very wow for the price. They offered an assortment of boxes, rolls, meal options and drinks to choose from. We tried the beef teriyaki bento box, mixed tempura and the deep fried crunch roll (soy wrapped) with 2 fountain drinks, total was $46. Large servings, Food all tasted delicious & freshly made, vegetable and shrimp tempura were cooked just right tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, they gave plenty of sauces on the side and free refills on the drinks. I got home and was ready to eat, but then I was missing the dressing for my salad, and no sushi, which was supposed to come with the bento meal deal. Actually the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a food establishment. I made an account purely out of dissatisfaction with how they handled when THEY messed up my order. They drenched a roll I asked for with two sauces when I specified no sauce. Sadly I didn't find out until I got home. The next day I complained and they said they could do nothing about it even though I brought photo evidence and I just bought the sushi again, begrudgingly, with a shitty $1 discount as compensation. I wasn't able to talk to the manager until about a week later and they only offered to give me a "free meal" as compensation even though I had to go out of my way twice to talk to them. Keep in mind, I told them I couldn't eat the original order because they fucked up. So I'm basically only getting what I originally paid for right? Just with extra steps? No. They don't even comp the side I originally ordered with the meal, only the roll and only once. I'm probably $30 down on just trying to get my one order correct because of gas and time.
