Strawberry cheesecake waffles. The cheesecake is ok but, not cheesecake. Love the strawberries!
Heatherlyn L.

This place is expensive for a close equivalent to Denny's. There were three of us that cost over $80 with tip. The coffees are over $4. The food came without a lot of waiting, and it tasted good at least so, there's that. The waitress was nice and checked in with us at first but didn't come around when we wanted refills on coffee. It's pretty loud in here (it was pretty busy but we only had to wait a minute for a table). Lots of talking over the dishes and silverware being rattled behind the half wall where the waitress pick up food and coffee etc. Not a great place to have a quiet conversation but good for the food- we had strawberry French toast, strawberry waffles, and an omelette. Next time- better bacon please!

Pleasantly surprised! Had breakfast 11/11/2024 at 11:30 am. It was super crowded but it's Veteran's day so everything was going to be. Iota IHOP so want expecting a culinary mind blowing but dang it was yummy! Waffle was so good and pumpkin pancakes were awesome! Lucy was our server... I would give her 6 stars! Super fast, pleasant and checked on our often. Really great Hod she did. We will be back!

Bacon and avocado eggs benedict

I honestly don't know why this place has such a low score. Their food was so good and I got curbside. Everything was cooked to perfection! And this isn't the first time. Ordered bacon and avocado eggs benedict with crispy hash browns--and the egg yolks were perfectly runny . Classic fluffy french toast were just as they promised. The breakfast biscuit sandwich with scrambled eggs and American cheese plus crispy hashbrowns. Pumpkin pancakes have such a strong harvest feel to them and so many fall spices. Lastly, the Pumpkin Spice cold foam cold brew. Can't wait til next time!

New biscuit with strawberries and cream

Came here on a Friday morning for breakfast with my daughter, saw these new biscuits on the menu, I decided to have the biscuit with strawberries and cream which also came with bacon, eggs and hash browns, my daughter had the chicken biscuit sandwich that came with a side of fries. The biscuits were AMAZING, so flaky, so buttery, just perfect! Service was good and prices are average, not bad for a commercial chain restaurant.

a breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and pancakes

IHOP is underrated. Do you remember when IHOP and Denny's were the breakfast ("brunch" was not even widely used I feel) moguls? I still enjoy a standard IHOP meal from time to time, but I think the quality has gone down and the service is hit or miss. My most recent visit was spur of the moment! I had a specific craving for sirloin steak tips and eggs, which comes with pancakes on the side. First of all, this meal is almost $17 now. I do not feel like it is worth $17 and it is amazing that though the price increased, the portion decreased. I even added a side of bacon, but the bacon was a little sad too. This was the case when my family ordered several meals from IHOP during the middle of quarantine last year (when outdoor dining was not allowed yet) -- all of our meals were so small. What was frustrating was that I ordered two meals to go for my family, but when I got home, one of them was incorrect. Instead of the spicy poblano omelette, which comes with steak and avocado, I received the spinach mushroom omelette. Also, before I forget, the lid for the omelette was not placed properly. My friend had to keep trying to fix it because it was a little defective. I called the restaurant and the waitress remembered that I ordered the spicy poblano, so when I told her I received the wrong omelette, she apologized. I appreciate the apology and she was very nice while we were dining it, and maybe there was miscommunication, but ultimately I had to inconveniently drive back to the restaurant to pick up the correct order. I still had to wait once I arrived, and I could hear the waitress worriedly asking about the spicy poblano omelette. I asked to speak to the manager, which I rarely do, but I was super disappointed. The manager comped the omelette, without hesitation, which was a decent offer. When I gave my sister the brand new omelette, she mentioned how only half of the omelette had steak and how it didn't look too appealing, which only added to the disappointment. Unfortunately, my recent experiences were not very pleasant, but if I ever feel the need to eat sirloin steak tips and eggs, then I may just come back.

The food and service was great. My son loved the five silver pancake meal and my niece enjoyed her chicken and waffle. The coffee was delicious. Loved how they still have their Christmas vibes going on as well. Highly recommended this location!

Black tea. Good brand.

Their new French toast is thick and delicious! It is a great addition to the menu. We got the French toast pancake combo. Super filling. No potatoes needed The staff was great as well. It was nice to see the receptionist sanitizing the waiting area. The iced tea was very good as was the hot black tea. My only issue, and it's small, was the whipped butter shouldn't be hard. Butter should be served room temperature so it doesn't tear up the delicate pancakes.

I came down here because I have a friend from up north who's come down here a few times and suggested this place. He said it's one of his favorite places when he's in town, so that's saying a lot if it's a top place for him and the family. He was right. This was a juicy and incredibly tasty burger. I'd say it's up there with Amboy in Chinatown (Los Angeles) or the newer Amboy spot at Haven City Marketplace in Covina. This place is a gem. Ordering can be a little misleading; hence minus one star. This is a food court setup, and there are menus for each restaurant in these individual stands that are placed on top of a snack wall. If you're going to order from Rey TJ Burgers, it'll be to the left of the main restaurant/register that's directly in front of you when you enter. The main line is Mexican (and seafood I believe?), so I was standing for a while until a lady realized I was holding the Rey TJ burger and called me over. Ordering was easy. Rey TJ's didn't have drinks, so I hard to order from the Mexican food line. The cucumber aqua fresca was AMAZING. Definitely one of the best experiences since I've had since I've moved to the San Diego area. I'm loving it here more and more. I've also had the opportunity to practice a lot of Spanish which I absolutely appreciate. The people here are amazing and much warmer than many of the parts of Los Angeles. Buen dia!

This place fell short of my expectations. My coworkers brought it up to me, therefore we wanted to…read moretry since my son & husband lovessss burgers. It's a food court with its own shared parking lot. When we went in there was a huge line to the door. As you go up the line, there are multiple menus placed to your left in which they have multiple different food options to choose from. Gave me anxiety as I felt rushed coming here for the first time. A line gathering up behind us, ppl in front of me, didn't want to be rude reaching over ppl to grab the menus. So just waited as we moved up to look at them. There's so many options it's overwhelming. Once we got to the front, we were trying to place our order only to find out we waited in line for nothing. The burger line was the empty line to the left which there's no signage or nothing to explain. We did order 1 adobada taco, a horchata, & a sprite. The girl forgot my sprite, told me to go order in the left line for burgers. So when I was placing our burger order, I asked for the sprite I never received. The cashier for burger spot said I have to go back into the other line to order that. Confusing af. Luckily it had 2 customers & not a line out the door like when we first arrived. I ordered the smoked brisket burger, my son the Russel cheeseburger, & my hubby the "burgers & fries." My son did not touch his burger, literally went to waste. My husband said his was ok. As for my brisket burger, I did not like mine at all. It was super salty. It came with a meat patty & CHUNKS of cubed brisket? When I got smoked brisket I assumed it would've been like a pulled pork texture. Quite the opposite. They were chunks of cubed meat. I didn't finish mine. We took everything to go & didn't eat the leftovers once home. We paid around $50 for some less than mediocre burgers that I could've done better at home. I liked that the food court had a self serve salsa bar with plenty of salsas, ingredients, etc. The presentation of the food was good! But the food just wasn't it for us. Probably would never return tbh. Also, when we were wrapping up - the server was hovering over us to finish so she could take the boards/fry basket back. Not like we're gonna steal them. Lol. But I get it, maybe previous patrons have put them near the trash or thrown them away. As the burger place may be its own individual business aside from the food court.

This is always a great sign. The manager, Ben, is awesome. He greeted us and added us to the waitlist. We were seated after 10mins of waiting in a great spot. Our favorite server, Nathan, is a lead now. We were seated in Matt's area and he was our server. Nathan came by to say hi and greet us, this is excellent customer service here. Matt was also great and customer service oriented and he took our order for table apps and drinks. The ambiance here is fun, family friendly, cool, and good vibes all around. They have a DJ some Saturdays. There are also very cool theme nights. Tonight was "Wing Wednesday". I posted a photo of the theme nights. For example, Thursday is Teachers 15% Discount Day and Karaoke. The walls, seating, and table decor is very nice. The design element here is wonderful. Our food: Bulgogi Fries App for the table starter, Fish and Chips, Chicken Katsu Plate, Side Order of Garlic Fried Rice, And 10 (4 Salted Pepper, 2 BBQ, 2 Sweet Chili, 2 Buffalo) of the $2 each wings. The food was great! The vibe is awesome, and the overall experience was great. We also got a chance to talk to Ben the Manager, Nathan the lead server, and Matt our server tonight. They all came to check on us to make sure that everything was going well in our dining experience. We HIGHLY recommend stopping here to enjoy a great dining experience.

The first time we went I ordered the garlic green beans which were actually no longer on the menu. They were quite tasty. I also ordered a side of fried chicken which was also good. The second time we went I got the chicken wings and the side ceaser salad. The wings were not crispy enough and there was zero flavor in the breading. The salad was boring. Hubby got the cobb salad which was a large portion but otherwise just ok. note that there is no outdoor seating so leave Fido home. Probably would not bother coming back here.
