The sesame bun was actually one of the reasons I came because not enough burger spots offer one, and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect, the way the onions were sliced and grilled, the sauce (dare I say better than In-N-Out ), and the quality of the meat was top tier. I also loved the old school diner vibe with the bar stools, plus all the Amboy swag. This is definitely my new go to when I'm craving a burger. I usually avoid Haven City because the parking lot is an absolute battle, but I will gladly fight for my life in that lot for this burger. Definitely trying the fries next time!

I think my family can vouch for me when I say I will be requesting to sit with anyone else but Alyssa if I ever do come back. She is the slowest waitress ever and even when we asked where our food was after waiting almost an ENTIRE HOUR she says she'll go look and walks away with strides slower than my 87 year old grandma! Hun, you look 28 at least, use that energy before you can't! I see another server going back and forth with food and drinks, and what's Alyssa doing? Just asking if we're doing okay, like NO ALYSSA WE ARE HUNGRY GO GET OUT FOOD. It took so long, no wonder our food was cold. If you're reading this Alyssa, I suggest you go check on youre customers food, simply being "attentive" to our well-being is not tip worthy. Even if you might be a new waitress, it doesn't excuse you to not actually serve us! We asked another worker to speak to the manager and when this guy gets here, the first thing I notice is his fly open and his sagging pants... How unprofessional do you have to be to forget to zip your fly and pull up the pants? Maybe use a belt? But not only is his attire unprofessional, he comes over and says "Hi I'm Juan and I'm the manager"... Um, so what if you're the manager, are you going to stand there or ask us what's wrong? We explain our issue, and instead of apologizing or offering a solution, he tells us it's because of new management and he doesn't like it either. NEWSFLASH JUAN YOUR PART OF MANAGEMENT! I've been to this location a few times. On this particular Saturday morning, we got there late and knew it was going to involve a wait, but we went anyway. I gave my name to the manager who was manning the wait list and he said it would be about 15 minutes. So we're sitting, and waiting, when I notice that parties that arrived after us were getting seated ahead of us. So I check with the manager to see where we are on the wait list and turns out our names got accidently marked out. Not good. He said, "Don't worry - I take care of people when that happens". I should've asked him what he meant exactly by that comment because I thought he was going to comp our meal. Wrong. We ended up getting seated at a booth and he said, "You ended up with a better table". Don't know if it was worth the extra 10 minute wait. Our server was very nice. Looked like a young kid working his way through college or in high school. Food was good (for IHOP standards). Love this place. Been coming here my whole life with my family. Still currently go here with my new family and I still love it! Their staff has went downhill since I remember. A lot of the time I see them texting and having fun with co workers instead of really helping the customers and maintaining the workspace. The ONLY reason why I comeback here is because one waitress works her butt off! Really though, I see her doing 3 people's work every time I go in there. She's always polite and always remembers to check up on me. Please IHOP do something to acknowledge her hard work! Her name is Soleima ! So overall coming here is a very positive experience. Parking is easy, getting seated is easy, and the food and pancakes are great!!! I recommend this place to anyone and if you can .... make sure to get Soleima as a waitress because you won't be disappointed. When we first came in the was maybe two other families in the whole restaurant. They made me and my family wait for about 15 minutes before we were seated even though there was plenty of room anywhere for us to sit. My real complaint is that my broccoli had MOLD on it. We told the server that it had mold on it and she replied with " the broccoli has spots on it like that all the time and I still eat it" I don't care if she likes to eat mold with her broccoli but I sure don't. My tilapia I had with it was slimey and tasted like dirt. She didn't make us pay for it and took it off the bill. I left hungry because I couldn't eat anything on my plate. They offered me other food but I don't trust anything coming out of that kitchen. The soda was also flat and had no carbonation at all. Don't recommend coming here at all read more

We had such a great experience at IHOP thanks to Caesar! He was incredibly attentive, kind, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He spoke Spanish with my mom, which made her feel very comfortable and appreciated, and he consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. His service truly went above and beyond. The food was also fantastic. I ordered the classic burger with fries, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My mom had the spinach omelet and really enjoyed it as well. The restaurant itself was nice, tidy, and clean, including the restrooms, which is always a huge bonus in my book. Overall, we left very happy with both the food and the exceptional customer service. We came in at least 15 minutes before closing AND THEY REFUSED US FREE PANCAKES ON FREE PANCAKE DAY. There was a tearing of garments and a gnashing of teeth. Children were crying. Plants died. Birds fell out of the sky. I, full of agony, began to sweat profusely. I picked myself up off the ground and tried to crawl out of the establishment. But my heart was almost too heavy. I contemplated many things while on the ground, and it wasn't until three men, using all their strength to hoist me to my feet, that I regained my composure and what little sanity I had left. It's been a few weeks since we were here last and only returned because my youngest wanted pancakes , the previous times over the past few months were horrifying to say the least and I had given up on this place . Not bad for an IHOP. The location is convenient and is close to a lot of the dealerships in the area. I usually drop by to this location after dropping off my car for service. The restaurant itself is kind of on the smaller side and there can be a wait if you're coming during peak hours like breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Then again needed a refill on water and well it didn't happen. Both servers were no where insight. It's really bad service when a customer has to ask for a refill on any refillable beverage. Looked at the clock 8:38pm we still hadn't gotten our wings I told her it takes about 15 -20 minutes rationally but the wings should have been out already. A new server came and we were not sure what he said that our server was getting himself food or putting in our food that he would assist. Another 10 minutes our original server came back and said it should have been out already and we hadn't even mentioned anything at this point. I'm sure he saw my daughter's RBF I told her relax. She's like me but I was trying to be optimistic I had a long day at work so he comes back said it is coming out in 2 minutes but it was the wings that came out not the food. Took 35 minutes for the wings and by this time I was like I'm just paying for the wings let's leave if it's not out in 5 minutes. I should've left already at this point but my daughter was hungry. Boom food came out 40 minutes later. She said you called it mom. Now at this point it is 8:58pm. I told my daughter eat cause now I am not hungry and it is too late for me to eat I have to be in bed in like an hour for work. She scarfed the food down so fast cause she was hungry upset stomach. Now I know he forgot to put the order in cause I was also looking at the tablet and I couldn't click it to pay until after we got our wings. We left I paid he is lucky I tipped still cause I saw the look on his face and I have a soft spot I used work food 12 plus years before I went office. I made my fair share of mistake's dropped glass forgetting extra sauce or some extra napkins but I got on it checked on it. Apologized ext..... I took the food home and now I will have it for lunch right now but how do you forget to put in an order? This generation I just don't understand what motivates you. I was an exceptional server went way beyond what was asked for. Ask by bosses. I am only 35 I'm not a Karen but my goodness! We will still come here it won't stop me cause this experience. You have a great steak and good drinks. Just a little acknowledgment would have been nice but I guess I need to be more assertive with some not all servers because I have that soft spot. I always tip well too because I know some Jacka** probably didn't tip them well. Anyway rant over hopefully next time this won't happen.

I had steak and chicken and they had ribs and steak. We tried different side dishes. Salad, soup, baked potato, mashed potatoes, and seasoned vegetables. All of the sides were plentiful and tasted better than expected. Sometimes at chain restaurants, the sides get left behind. But here the amount and great taste were a key part of the meal. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order. I'm a medium rare, and it was amazing, melting your mouth. However, the chicken was a little bit on the dry side. The blooming onion was amazing, the sauce was pretty good as well, but I would prefer just regular ranch. Bread endless along with soft butter, yes please! Service was good. I was surprised that the place was fairly empty. This location gets truly busy. Great date night dinner!

EVERYTIME there is something missing or wrong and our ACTUAL server has to try and pick up the pieces while being really busy. We come every other Friday for the most part. It's a broken system! Just stagger the scheduled in-times. Schedule for 6 hour shifts, so a server doesn't have to take a lunch while their section goes down in flames. If you're not willing to do that, have the manager touch tables in the section of a server who is on break. Had an exceptionally bad experience last night. It's never perfect, I get it. Outback in Covina on the weekend, no way it could be perfect, but last night yall dropped the ball the ENTIRE dinner. Ergo my abuse of using CAPS Coconut shrimp is always so good!
