Ant in the salt and was served a dirty mug. food was great but that is absolutely disgusting.

Not sure why are called huevos rancheros because it doesn't look like huevos rancheros, was more like breakfast tacos. Service not the best. Definitely needs lots of improvements.

Our server, Javier was very attentive. I was impressed that he could remember our order without writing it down and that we received everything right. For the record, Denny's pancakes are sooooo much better, but my iHop waffle was exceptional. Other than the waffle, the rest of my breakfast was mediocre. Again Javier was great!! 5 stars for Javier. But overall 3 stars for the food. .

This IHOP is hidden on a smaller road in Duarte, but it's a gem. The manager is super nice and the staff are super attentive. The location is super clean and the food was great. I ordered the sampler and everything was perfect

Mom loves pumpkin pancakes, and dropped a hint this week. We went at 1pm, and with the heat (105!!) decided on a salad, with pancakes to go. Mom is going vegetarian, and I'm vegan. Our server, Raquel B, was so friendly, plus helped us to order. She immediately asked if we would like ice tea, yes, and thank you! Mom was wanting the chopped chicken salad with no meats, Raquel suggested instead the house salad with side of avocado. I got the Fresh berry salad, no chicken. I thought a side of fries would be fun, which manager approved in place of chicken. Everything was fresh, exactly what we wanted, plus Raquel gave us a to-go cup of more ice tea. She checked on us, put order in for pancakes to time by when we were ready to leave. Again great food and service at this IHOP!

Stopped by on our way to San Bernardino. Service was A plus. Javier is a perfect example of how the services should be. He was polite attentive and on point. This location is cleaner than the other ones I've been to and the seats aren't caved in. Food was excellent had a great experience at this location

Fast service especially for a Saturday. We were seated right away, server was very nice and friendly. A staff member walked around in an ihop pancake costume greeting most tables and offering candy to children. Food was delicious and coffee tasted good as usual.

I'll have to try this next time

You can't really go wrong with ihop! Always very consistent with food and service. Food is always good and super filling! I always have leftovers for another meal. Service here was super quick and friendly. The two servers on the floor were super attentive and friendly.

    1. Cleanness- clean, minimal trash on floor, staff all wears masks 2. Contactless payment- apple pay accepted 3. Reservations/Appointment - nope, walk up & get your name on waiting list, first come first serve, had to wait 20 minutes (it was a sunday) 4. Customer Service/Assistance - all employees have been nice & attentive 5. Food - main reason I come, seasonal, my parents are head over heels for the pumpkin pancakes in my reviews each star is given when they meet all my top necessities overall, because of how local this breakfast place is, i like to bring my mom seasonally for her favorite pumpkin pancakes

NEW Thick N Fluffy Lemon Ricotta Mixed Berry French Toast these were amazing. So fresh and delicious.

I, for one, immediately noticed the huge mural that heralds our Greatest Laker Ever the moment I pulled offve Live Oak into the small lot that abuts Fantastic. Digging further, I discovered that the "Eat Fantastic" quintet of restaurants that dot the greater LA metropolitan area ARE IN FACT a modernized spinoff of the "Cafe Fantastic" chain that Gen Xers like me fondly recall. Sheeeeeeeeeiiit. True story- All throughout my time at San Pedro High, my best friend Mick and I usta demolish their Combo Burger Platter (burger/fries AND onion rings, side salad and drink) for only $3.65. 40yr flashback over, your favorite Yelp correspondent went for Fantastic's pastrami sandwich combo. And while it doesn't come with a quintet of items guaranteed to fillya up- I can vouch that the pastrami is legit!!! Well seasoned, peppered, served steaming hot aboard a French roll gently slicked with mustard. I've had my share of fabulous pastrami in my time- Katz Deli in NY, Brent's Deli in Northridge and more locally and if you're in a severe 'strami fix...then Togo's #9 will do ya, too. This doesn't compete at those lofty levels, but for its price I'll order this eight days a week over the razor-thin pastrami dispensed by the overrated The Hat chain of pastrami-phixated locales! While this was a takeout order, I can attest that all of my.prior dealings w/ the Eat Fantastic staff has been just fine. Courteous and swift service.

We came here around 5:30PM and the traffic to get to Shrimp House was pretty bad. Found out that you can enter from Myrtle and from Live Oak. We were on Myrtle and went onto Live Oak thinking that was the only entrance.. that was a mistake due to the backed up traffic during the time. When we got there, we were seated at a table. It was pretty crowded, full of older people. The guests were friendly and seemed to be regulars of the place. When the waitress came to us, she took our order. We ordered: Popcorn Shrimp - Loved this sooo much! Reminds me of Sizzler. Popcorn shrimp was hot, fresh, and had a crispy batter! The actual popcorn bedding added to the theme :) 9/10 Ceviche - We got the Mexican style and it was good. Not as good at Kickin Shrimp, but it was a good appetizer to start with. 7/10 Clam Chowder - This clam chowder reminds me of Sizzler's clam chowder. It was creamy and thick, and had a few bits of clams. 7/10 Grilled Seafood Sampler - The fish was nice and flaky. Very flavorful with the seasoning that they used. The shrimp was nicely grilled. We were not a fan of the bell pepper that was on the skewer that bled into the shrimp itself. The flavor was a bit intrusive considering shrimp already has a light flavor. Finally the scallops were a pass. Just grilled, nothing amazing. 7/10 overall Shrimp Scampi Linguine - Not sure what the hype was about, but this was the most forgetful dish I had here. The linguini was a bit soft/overcooked, the fettuccini sauce was thick and not too cheesy, but more creamy, if that makes sense, and the shrimp was just shrimp (possibly the grilled shrimp) and was just drowned in the fettuccini sauce and lost any natural flavors it would've had. 3/10 Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream: Out of the disappointing Shrimp Scampi Linguini, the Lava cake made up for it. We do not usually get dessert, but we were sure glad we got this. Similar to the pazooki from BJ's, but a hot choco cake instead. I can do without the whipped cream though, since I don't like it too much. 8/10 Overall, this place is a small, quaint place for seafood. The appeal is the hometown feel, friendly service, all while providing good, affordable seafood.
