I want to start by saying I looovvee ihop. They're pancakes are on point and I can generally find something great to eat there. However this is the worst experience I have ever had. The waitress got our order completely wrong. Our food was either undercooked or over cooked. She made no effort to guide or suggest anything on the menu. The table was sticky when we sat down and the walls had obvious dust buildup. The food looked nothing like the picture. And I mention that because other ones I've been to the food basically looked like it does in the picture. I'be been a loyal IHOP customer for 15 years but this particular location was terrible. The waitress was rude which I can deal with but the food was the biggest problem. Every item on my Breakfast Sampler was burnt except my pancakes. I could understand one item being overcooked but everything being blackened is just unacceptable. There is another IHOP location a couple of miles down the road that is much better, if you're in the area go to that one instead. read more

I was pleasantly surprised while visiting this ihop location in Orlando. I literally haven't been in a ihop in 5 plus years. We went on a Sunday and the place was crowded. Even with the crowd, the wait was only 15 minutes. Upon being seated we were greeted by our hostess and our food was brought to our table in a prompt manner. I ordered pancakes, and home fries which were delicious. Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying their meal as well. I would definitely recommend this ihop location to anyone I know! read more

Straight to the issue came in on 9/22/18 for breakfast. Ordered coffee and they use the coffee pot that is on the table. When they poured the coffee into our cups i noticed that there was some sort of red coloration floating on top. It looked like an oil slick but quickly realized that it may have been crayons that may have been put in there by a child. Told the waitress and she didn't seem concerned by the incident?! Also orders didn't not come out all at once. While the rest of my party received there order i was waiting an additional 30mins to get mine. This place stinks would not recommend. IHOP! How you make me smile... IHOP is definitely not a "night out on the town" kinda place, however this location is fairly good. The three stars are for the overall ambiance, not because it's not a cute little stop, but because it definitely could use a good scrubbing. My seat definitely had some stickiness and crayon, but it's expected. I absolutely love their sirloin steaks and eggs... And surprisingly it was cooked very well! Our server was sweet and she was very quick with helping us out. Add some double chocolate chip pancakes and your little trip to IHOP has turned into quite the visit! That was how it was for me. Great food, quick service... And of course... Yummy pancakes! :) I'll continue to come to this location, it just has that comfort food I can't seem to get enough of. read more

It looked like there was a big crowd, but generally IHOPPED THROUGH THE WAIT PRETTY QUICK! They said it would be a 20 minute wait, it was about 15. But what sort if boggled my mind is that we got breakfast at 11am on a Friday. Had it been Sunday, or even 9am, I would have understood the crowd. This place was packed. Even though the 15 minute wait did not kill me, everything else was slow and delayed and it was not busy enough to justify their slip ups with our order. The food was pretty good, well mine was at least, and no one in our party was terribly disappointing. It is IHOP and a chain, we did not expect a lot, we just wanted a decent and affordable and quick breakfast (it was already 11am). Honestly, they only got the decent part right. I was temped to do fried chicken and waffles. They had it on thier 7 for $7 menu, but I was afraid the IHOP version would ruin one of my favorite dishes. So I passed on that and decided to go with the Chicken Fajita Omelet. The waitress really mis-pronounced fa-JEEEE-ta with a thick southern accent. I did not know whether to laugh or cry.... But nevertheless, I really REALLY liked my Chicken Fajita Omelet. It was beyond decent. But the pancakes that come on the side really needed some more butter. Even though my food was beyond decent, some other people in our party had food below decent, so overall it averages out to decent. The Hearty Ham & Cheese Omelet was very hearty. There was so much cheese on there it hurt my fiancee's tummy. She usually likes cheese, but in moderation. I can really over do it on the cheese and my iron stomach gives me no problems. We probably should have switched orders, my omelet would not have hurt her tummy as bad. My dad got the Spicey Triple Meat Scrambled Eggs off the 7 for $7 menu. He said it was decent, he did not have great expectations, it was IHOP. My mom got the Quick Two Eggs Breakfast, that is what she usually does, it was decent. My brother got eggs with some kind of spicy hasbrowns. He liked the spicy hashbrowns and said the eggs were.... yup you guessed right, decent. I cannot remember what my brother's girlfriend got, but I can tell you what she thought about it. It was decent! The owner/manager was working at the front taking names when people walked in. He seemed to remember guests who had not been back to Orlando since last year. That was impressive. It is so close to Disney, no surprise that it is touristy. The restaurant could have been a bit cleaner, and so could the staff. They were friendly for the most part, and like I explained above the food was decent. But the 2 stars comes from the mess ups. First, it took them forever to bring me a glass of water with the tea that I ordered. It also took them a long time to refill our coffee pot and my hot water for my tea. But the worst was that they essentially forgot my dads meal. My mom thinks a different waitress stole it for her table. Regardless, they need to be more organized especially if they are going to be that busy at 11am on a Friday. We had all pretty much finished our food by the time my dads Spicy Scrambled came to the table. That was not cool. We offered to wait for him, but he insisted that we did not let our food get cold. Takeaway: food is decent, service is bad. It is crowded and touristy. While a McDonald's breakfast may not taste as decent, it will be quicker and less disappointing after you waste you time for less than stellar service. Incredible! I'll admit I haven't been to IHOP in several years bc I was disappointed and my mom insisted on breakfast today so we stopped here. I wonder if it's location- specific but this place has super fast service (despite being packed) and QUALITY ingredients that their food tastes amazing ! I'm quite impressed. Despite a very hard working and genuinely nice waitress, this probably was not the best IHOP we have ever visited. My husband order the steak and eggs and it was obvious at the steak had either been boiled or cooked many many days prior to being heated up for his breakfast I ordered to blueberry pancakes and they were good... I think that the recipe for pancakes is standard across all IHOP restaurants so you really can't go wrong. This IHOP desperately needs a facelift or a visit from a Gordon Ramsay like guru who will help chefs realize that even though they are cooking for large-scale all day customers with a relatively cheap menu they could at least have some pride in their work... Whomever let that steak go out on the floor should probably look for another job. read more

As always, the food and service are very good! However, the windows were very dirty, a hair fell off and landed in one of our milkshakes! The windows and doors are lined with fingerprints, the window sills are dusty and dirty, and the floor needs a good sweep. It looks like no one's cleaned the place for over a year. read more

Had breakfast today and UGH, it was crowded as expected on a Sunday morning, but our service was horrible. We had a party of six and when our entrees came, they were delivered two at a time and then several minutes later two more would come out. Finally when we did get our plates, the hashbrowns were cold and the eggs were cold as well. Our waitress would come and drop off the plates and run off. We had to practically shout at her to stop so she could re-fill our drinks. Definitely under-staffed with poor customer service. Great experience! This is a chain restaurant and I usually assume a 3 star experience. However, the staff was extremely friendly and my server, Joel, was delightful. He treated my party of eight with a smile and made sure we were happy. We were seated pretty quickly too, which was a great way to start. The food was pretty good. Traditional IHOP menu, but cooked very well. You can't really ask for more than that. The restaurant and bathrooms were also clean. After being sat at a table with a visibly dirty floor and asking to be moved, the server brought my husband a coffee and my water. We then waited, and waited, and waited for a server to return. As my husbands coffee was now cold (we were also waiting to ask for Splenda) not one server passed. The restaurant had maybe 5-6 tables sat total so no excuse for poor service. I had to poke my head in the kitchen to ask for a manager who then proceeded to offer to serve us herself. Too little too late - lost our business today. We just left a convention at the Gaylord Palms where it took two hours for a lunch. It took about three minutes at I Hop to get a delicious breakfast. Our waiter, Dan was an exceptional waiter. Got here around 9pm and the place looked like it was closed although it's open 24/7 there were some people at one table so we ventured in. It was okay - we had pancakes, breakfast sampler, milkshakes and omelettes. If you're looking for somewhere to eat and not much else is open then go here otherwise not too sure about it.
