Last month on 8/15/2022 was the third time we've been here and it has gotten significantly worse each time. We sat ourselves as there was no host. We waited about 10 minutes to have someone come and take our drink order. While waiting, two groups got up and asked to speak to the manager because the server sucked. The only two other groups in the restaurant were also bothered by the lack of service and attention to detail. I had to get my own utensils and baby high chair. The rest of the restaurant was empty so I don't know why service was so slow. I like to come here because it is not as busy but the downside is the staff is just not cutting it. The service here was terrible for breakfast. Only 2 of us and only about half the tables were taken. I give it 2 stars ONLY because my order was correct. One person took our drink order, she brought the water but never the coffee, until we reminded her 10 min later. My meal order was simple, correct and tasted fine, but still just below average. I make a much better bacon and eggs breakfast at home. My friend's meal was only half correct. He asked for 2 orders of toast dry. They both came with butter. We asked one server for another order, never came back. We then talked to the manager, he seemed to understand and took one toast away to get a new dry one. Again nothing, he never returned. We also ordered the crepes with a blueberry jam and cream cheese. That was incorrect, the cheese was missing and it had blueberries on top, not the jam. That again took 2 people to get it right. We had an terribly frustrating experience in here today. Waited 40 minutes for someone to take our order as they seated us at a table with no server assigned...and that was after we asked twice for service and let them know that 2 of the people in our group were going to have to leave if we couldn't get service soon due to another appointment. Finally, they took our order but then we waited without food forever. We asked a few times for help and reminded them of the time constraint, but the servers were so overloaded and no one else seemed to care. Finally, the two in our group with an appointment had to leave (after an hour and 20 minutes). We let someone know and were told that the food was coming out right now. The other two in our group decided to stay to eat and bring our food home for us as a takeout order. When they got home, our takeout orders were both wrong! We called the restaurant and asked from some resolution since they kind of ruined our breakfast out and we didn't even get the correct order we paid for. I was repeatedly told that I should have made more of an effort to track down the manager, even though I let her know that we did repeatedly ask for help and communicate that we were having trouble. I asked them to refund everything but the tip and if they couldn't do that, let me know and I would bring some cash down to tip our server as she shouldn't be penalized because they were poorly managed and understaffed. They said they would find out what they could do for us and call me right back...That was hours ago, and we haven't heard from anyone. Not really surprised. Orange juice was undrinkable. Plus, there was a patron in a hospital bed eating (actually being fed by a caregiver) alongside a table. I guess we went out on Grad Night, which I was unaware of because I am not in school and I don't have any kids, but there were some tables open and the employees there refused to acknowledge us. There are rare occasions where they are busy and maybe short staffed so the waiting time could be longer.. but honestly we come here and always request our favorite person Avis! She is very rude and we had requested to get Jose as our waiter and she completely denied it. We asked for him since he provides great customer service. She responded loudly that other customers heard in the building. This IHOP is new. It used to be a Sizzler's a few years ago. The restaurant is big, when compared to other IHOPs. It has a really open concept. A polished, modern look. I never seen silverware so polished and chrome-like! My family went Thanksgiving Morning and the place was busy. A lot of the wait staff seemed new or with limited experience. You can tell on how they still needed to confirm some menu items. Don't misunderstand me, everyone was really, really, polite. They were nice and welcoming. That's also how you know they're new staff. I have career-restaurant family and they are jaded and sarcastic. The stories they tell! But the IHOP staff was really on point. If it wasn't our waitress, it would be other staff checking in on us. Our orders came through in a reasonable time, even though it was really busy. Nothing was missing or wrong. The food was really great. We had crepes and pancakes. Eggs and steak omelettes. We even got an appetizer sampler. Our coffee was never empty. Everything was fetish and hot. The location is really easy to get to. There's plenty of parking and the place is clean. Over all a great experience. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Listen to all the bad reviews because they're absolutely true. Go to Denny's or a different IHOP if you're looking for mid food with a friend. The service here was atrocious. We got seated quickly, which was nice, but then the server was quick to rush us into getting our drinks (she literally said something along the lines of "getting right to it," but all I remember is being surprised and somewhat amused since I've never had a server rush me into choosing something to drink 1 minute after seating me). After we got our drinks, we were left alone for a good while. Then that's when an older waitress came around asking if we were ready to order. My friend apologized for not being ready quite yet and the waitress seemed quite annoyed and gave a weird passive aggressive reply towards it. Again, it was really weird. The second time around she seemed much nicer. She took our order and got us refills. She did get something on my order wrong but I wasn't really surprised. My friend and I really didn't enjoy the food (Denny's is just always going to be better imo). So we asked the older waitress for the check and some to-go boxes. I should mention that there were only 4 other tables open with 2-3 people sitting at each one. We waited almost 20 minutes to get our check AND boxes. In the meantime, we saw the older waitress chatting it up with a couple for about ten minutes (she must've known them), and I got up to go to the register to see if someone would come attend me there. Finally (and I would never do this, or thought I would have to), I went straight to where the two waitresses were, and asked if I could get the to-go boxes. The older waitress had the audacity to say she'll be right with me (as if I hadn't waited long enough), but the younger waitress was much nicer about making sure we got what we needed. We spent 61 bucks there. Still stacked up our plates and left it fine. Left that old woman two bucks. She didn't even deserve it.
