    Fruit side order with omelette
    David G.

I've been here several times for lunch. We ordered off for lunch special which are very reasonable. He had a ham and cheese omelette with a side of fruit, I had the eggs scramble with bacon and cheese and hash brown potatoes. The service was good, but not our server, the person who delivered our dishes apparently left them too long and they were just warm. I didn't send mine back, but normally I would have. My meal is very good, and his was very good as well.

Back at it again. :D And this time we switched it up and tried their new New York Cheesecake short stake. It's literally bomb.com. This location is our go to for weekend breakfast after as it's close to home and the service is always great! You'll always see the manager on the floor making sure everything is running smoothly. The servers are top notch and don't forget to bring the hot sauce and ranch. :) It truly feels like family here. Don't forget national pancake day is on March 3rd. They're giving a free shot stack of their world famous buttermilk pancakes! xD

After a long day of filming my Food Critic Review show "FOOD THIS" the wife and I just wanted a simple meal. But what we didn't expect was to be given 10 Star treatment from start to finish! Mariah and Wendy understand the assignment of great service and their heart warming personalities. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch! Please give these ladies their flowers cause they deserve it. Keep up the great work ladies and you will be acknowledged in our next episode cause women like you two are rare!

    Quick 2-Egg Breakfast

Came for an early breakfast and Avis was the waitress. She was very kind and attentive. We had the crepe breakfast with over easy eggs & sausage links, quick breakfast with scrambled eggs & bacon, and a side of nostalgia. Everything was delicious and I appreciated how she left a coffee pot on the table for refills.

The color of the hummus was really nice and presentation was beautiful. 5/5 Dessert: I picked the ice cream sandwich and I was surprised by the presentation: it was two large chocolate cookies and sandwich in the middle was the mint chocolate chip ice cream. 5/5 Overall, I had a great lunch date here and my food was plentiful. I even had dessert so that's always a plus.

Which is appreciated. This really is the premier spot to watch games and such. It was loud, lively, and a little bit rowdy. A perfect crowd. Drinks were flowing, and good times were had all by all. One thing I very much appreciated was their grace. I got here for the finale at 10am, for a 12pm game. They were still opening up. These days, that the price of an entree. We shared our appetizers: my friend had the individual portion of the uptown mac and cheese and I had the grilled mushroom. The mac and cheese is to die for! So creamy and very rich, with aged cheddar and gruyere cheeses, pieces of chicken, peas, and asparagus sprinkled throughout. A definite diet buster, but worth it! The grilled mushroom was no slouch either. Consisting of oyster and king trumpet mushrooms, the dish had a nice "meaty" taste, ironic since it's a vegetarian dish that is cooked in a plant based butter. You don't miss the lack of meat at all. For entrees, my friend got the poke bowl, which I did not tasted so can't attest to it, but my friend said it was good. I had the spicy pasta, which was amazing. The campanelle pasta was cooked perfectly, holding the savory, slightly spicy corn-based cream sauce in all its luscious folds. Along with roasted poblano peppers, sautéed mushrooms, marinated artichokes, and tomatoes, the ingredients all worked so well together to make a truly yummy dish. We also shared our desserts: My friend got a scoop of the vanilla fleu de sal ice cream while I opted for a scoop of the dark chocolate. Both were good, but I liked the dark chocolate as it had actual pieces of dark chocolate. Our server Kayla was amazing. So friendly and on it! She constantly checked in on us, and made sure our drink glasses were never empty. It was completely unexpected and such a lovely touch. As a first-time guest, that kind of welcome made an immediate impression on me and was a wonderful way to start dinner. The dining room has a classic steakhouse feel with white tablecloths, warm lighting, dark wood, and an impressive glass-enclosed wine display near the entrance. I also liked being able to see into the kitchen from the dining room. It felt polished without being stiff. I decided to order from the Dine LA dinner menu, which was a great way to try several things on my first visit. My steak was cooked exactly as I ordered it, and the sides were generous enough to share. I also really liked the variety in the bread basket, which is always a good start in my book. Michael, our server, was attentive throughout dinner and happily answered our questions about the menu. The service felt professional while still being warm and easygoing. The cheesecake was a great way to finish the meal. The brûléed top added a little caramelized crunch, while the berries and sauce kept it from feeling overly sweet. They offer valet, and there's also street parking nearby if you happen to find a spot. I had such a good first experience that I definitely want to come back. I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers!
