I work in the food industry and i have been for 4 years so I know how it works. This review isn't about the customer service. It's about the food. My boyfriend and i ended up getting food poisoning a few hours after eating here. This was our first meal of the day. The only similar thing we both got were eggs. Now if I were to be a rude customer, i would had called the health department. Thank god i didn't feed my daughter the eggs or else she would also be in pain and discomfort. Came solo for a quick breakfast burrito and a coffee. Took exactly 30 mins for someone to ask if my order had been taken, I said no, and it took another 7 mins for her to go find someone. Then I order .. breakfast burrito ADD avocado to which my server girl replied "mmm that sounds good, I'm Hungry I haven't eaten".. But... she didn't write it down and just as I suspected, it came out with no avocado. This was like 50 mins in so I just ate it. Two stars rather than one for cleanliness, but I love IHOP and this is perhaps the worst I have been to - due to service. We ordered crispy hash browns - they came not crispy. We ordered an omelette with hollandaise on the side, it came on the omelette. We ordered pancakes with bananas IN them, and they came raw on top, not cooked in. I got decaf coffee, and was brought regular for a refill. And they didn't check on us so I had to go searching to get help ... it wasn't just one or two things ... but multiple things. Is it still new if it has been open for 9 months? I hope they get it figured out. I love IHOP but do NOT want to return to this one. Usually IHOP servers are attentive and awesome. I don't even know where to start with my experience at this restaurant. We walked in for dinner at 7:32 there was one table in the restaurant we were the second, got some drinks ordered and told our server would be right with us. That's a joke 20 minutes later nobody helped us at all, we saw the server and it looks like maybe a another kitchen person eating in the section next to us. We were still waiting to eat. We saw the server get up and go to the table to boots away from us never even acknowledged us. She was laughing and joking with him saying how she was on a break and she had to clock out and I guess that's why she never came over to our table. Okay I'll be honest, I never liked IHOPS way of serving food in sections and not all in one go, but this place was extra bad when it came to that. Not only did they serve the food in sections, but they didn't even bother serving the food quickly in sections. It took 30 minutes to get the first wave of food (3 plates and 2 sides). Then the waitress would come in after 15 minutes saying that the our food would be out very shortly. (It took another 30-35 minutes) I will say that the waitress was very kind but they seemed like they couldn't focus as much as they possibly could but I couldn't really blame them, we were talking a lot. The omelettes were good but the French toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and regular eggs were all relatively cold. (The pancakes also were kinda tough). The thing that really made me angry was the wait time and the food being served in sections, but the thing is the place looked pretty overstaffed yet they still took an unnecessary amount of time. What I'd also like to mention is that when everybody finished their meals, the empty plates were sitting on our table for a while. Also we half of the group left from waiting too long, we had to get up and find a waitress ourselves to go and get the check. Overall Rating 2/5 Would I go here again?
