We were wanting breakfast and it was almost noon so we opted for IHOP. There's plenty of parking around the building and it's located right off the freeway. It was pretty empty inside, but it took a few minutes to get us seated. Our drink order was taken and he gave us some time to review the menus. They had a menu which offered there specials so we decided to do a ham and egg omelette with pancakes. Pancakes are always good but the omelette was ok. The service lacked. They didn't check back after dropping off the food. I had to go to another table to get some hot sauce. When we're done, I had to go to the front register to pay as the didn't came back to give us a tab. It's pretty sad, considering it was pretty empty with plenty of workers. read more

First meal for 2025. I don't remember the last time I've been to IHOP. Since our attempt for a coffee shop run failed this morning we decided to have breakfast here. My boyfriend ordered the sirloin steak tips and eggs. He said the dish was good and steak was tender. I wanted something light so I chose the avocado toast with eggs and bacon and a side of fruits. The avocado toast had roasted tomatoes on top. I usually don't like roasted tomatoes but I ended up like this because the tomatoes were seasoned good. Overall, we both enjoyed what we ordered. Horrible service. You walk in and are waiting to be greeted. Servers walk by and won't even acknowledge you standing there. A server comes to the front to look at the waitlist behind the counter and called one of the names. Ignoring that my party and I are standing there. Never disappointed about the food, especially when you spend the night before browsing at what you're getting the next morning. Service here needs to be improved. Host who seated us was pleasant. Our server Jose greeted us in Spanish which was not a problem, but whole deme changed when I responded in English. The table across from us got their food first before us, mind you we were there before they were. The manager checked us out and did not thank us or greet us out. The hollandaise sauce was nowhere to be found and the eggs were both over medium. I was bummed, but the poblano peppers were really good, but not spicy like they were described in the menu. I waited 15 minutes then asked why I couldn't be seated (less than 50% full and tables were clean) I was semi scolded and told every one wants to be seated and I need to be patient, There are only 3 servers. Stopped with our truck pulling track motorcycles. A lot of unhoused in the back giving us the side eye so we parked in the front. Restaurant completely empty as far as we could tell. Ask to sit in the front so we could keep an eye on our motorcycles. Snotty answers was "No, that area is officially closed." It was already hard enough to park so we said we'd find somewhere else. Besides the staff being incredibly friendly there isn't much to recommend about this location sadly. The walls are filthy and marked with handprints. The floors are coming up. The food is sad. Biscuits are meant to be thick and fluffy. These are thin. Breakfast gravy tastes weirdly like cream of mushroom soup. While plate was luke warm. No black tea. Only green tea and chamomile. Just finished the biannual smog check (passed, yaay) on my 07 Nitrobomb so treating myself to breakfast. Clean bright, 5 minute wait for a table. Quick coffee and order taking. Wow! After reading the recent reviews, I'm thinking we never should have come here! But our men's group of four has been here the past two weeks for breakfast at 8:00 AM and can report that the service has been good and food excellent. Granted, there are only about a dozen folks there at that time. Admittedly, the place is run down, they are under-staffed, and the landscaping outside needs some care. Prices for the senior breakfast are better than other local dives, except for the coffee, which is more (about $4.35 right now - Yikes!). So you can a LOT of food for under $10.00 if you just drink water with your meal. Works for me. Now, if we keep going, things may change - so we'll see. read more

This was my first time eating at an IHOP so I went into the experience with an open mind. To start the service was quick and pleasant, nothing out of the ordinary and as you'd expect. The food itself was pretty good! There were multiple things to order from and the staff do a good job of meeting any dietary requests. The smell when entering was a little strong of disinfectant but that may be a good sign of cleanliness for many. Overall, I had a pretty good meal, nothing that blew my mind or surprised me but solid food to keep me full for a while. read more

I tried to do a online order for Mother's Day yesterday and when I finally went to pay for my items I received a "unable to verify basket." Error message. Gave the location a call and they said -" due to high volume of Mothers Day, we are not taking any online orders, Door dash or even take out orders. All orders must be for dine in only." Umm I get it, a holiday or a special day just means you should have plan in advance for this to account for the heavy workload. Lost thousands easily yesterday for sure. I think what happened yesterday should be a huge wake up call to get addresses and find a better solution then to have your online customers suffer and give them the only option to come and wait a few hours until you're able to be served. Even after my review I still find I hop my main place for breakfast needs. Worst Service people I've ever encountered in my life. Not only did we stand at a counter and weren't greeted or acknowledged for a good 5-7 minutes to then be told it might be a wait but there was hardly anyone there. So when we sit down the waitress took her time asking if we wanted anything to drink when they usually are right on it. But what really made me livid was when she finally came to take our order we told her 2 four piece bacon like we do every day and she brought out 2 -2 pieces and when we asked her why she became extremely defensive and told us "No That's What You Ordered " in a harsh disrespectful tone for someone who is supposed to be trained in Customer Service and dealing with people. She got loud in front on my 3 yr old and when we reported her to her manager who actually acted like her behavior was ok just said u don't have to pay while another customer was complaining about the same issue. I can't believe they let their employees get away with that and think it's appropriate behavior. Not worth me time or money and they wonder why there aren't more customers. We both ordered the sampler plate and her cousin ordered pancakes with strawberry glaze. All of our food was good, but it seemed to me that the sampler plate is smaller. You only get one pancake and I remember at least three pancakes. When you ate that you would be so full, until you wouldn't want anything else to eat the rest of the day. Our server was nice and the place was crowded which was a good sign. It was almost noon when we got there, but still plenty of customers. The restaurant was clean. She tried to give me an attitude so I gave one back and said yes you do!! Last time I came here I was given the discount. Are you serious??!!
