2 stars. Server was great, food was okay. That's why I'm not rating a 1 Star. Upon paying I showed my Military Dependent ID and was told by the woman that they don't do military discount. She tried to give me an attitude so I gave one back and said yes you do!! Last time I came here I was given the discount. Are you serious??!! Every single IHOP that I've gone to gave me military discount, how TF are you going to tell me?? So IHOP on March Lane it is May 30, 2018 I was there around 1130am-12check the person at the register. She shouldn't be working at the front with that attitude. She gave me the Senior discount, but still...Don't give me no damn attitude. Haven't been to an IHOP in ages. That being said, my recent experience here was great. Went with some family members of mine and everyone enjoyed their meal here. Our waitress was wonderful, from the beginning to the end. She was very patient and courteous, always made sure to check up on us to see if we needed anything or if we were enjoying our meal. I ordered a Belgian Waffle, as well as a Hot Chocolate. Both were delicious and yummy. The Waffle was good, and fresh. I actually thought the Hot Chocolate was really good, it had great chocolate taste, so good on a warm cold day. Although for the price, I really wish they would give a bigger portion because for $2.99, a 16oz cup is really small. Also, a glass of Orange Juice is $3.99? Talk about being pricey...they really should consider lowering the prices a tad bit. All in all, t was a good visit, and I would return. read more

One review was overrated there's literally 20 people inside of the restaurant Mexican guy at the front who is a host is talking to for Mexican women giving them directions doesn't acknowledge anyone inside and then has the audacity to tell my family. One star as I already consider this chain to be only a three star. I've only been to an IHOP once in my life.... till now. It just so happens that that first visit was the worst experience..... or so I thought. As a teen, out of town, hanging with some friends. We decided to eat at an IHOP. Don't remember which, it wasn't important as I had decided to never step foot into an IHOP again, even though I had thought that this was an isolated incident, at only this location. Rewind to over a decade ago. First visit. We sat, we ordered, we waited. When our server came with our food, to my horror!!! she had as many plates as she could carry in both hands/arm. Five in/on one hand/arm and two in another hand. As she sat my plate in front of me *cringe* my food had an indent of the plate that was set on top of my food! So as a teen not wanting to cause a scene, I let it slide. Suffice it to say, I did not eat my food that day. Decision made, never again....... Fast forward earlier today Out with mom, sister, and my two little ones. I had just gotten over having strep throat and hadn't eaten in three days. It's painful and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy (the idiot or idiot's that decided that this was the perfect way to serve customers). In other words I was famished and didn't put up much of a fight when my family convinced me that "no, they don't do that at THIS one." Second and I promise last visit. We sat, we ordered, we waited. *I hoped, had fingers crossed, chanted in my head "Isolated incident, isolated incident"* Sigh.....NOPE! Repeat right down to the very half circle indent in food. My sister even turned to me and said "I'm sorry". Now I'm much older and wiser. And currently work in a kitchen. So I know the laws on the dish washing routine. Soo... if they are doing things properly, our plates are clean. But the bottom of the plates sit/slide on counter tops in the kitchen before coming out to you. Who knows what that could have picked up? Im not a germaphobe, I'd hate to hear what that person would really say. But like I said, three days without food......I ate it. So what am I complaining about? After so many years IHOP, Is it too much to ask that you spend a little more money on those huge trays and stands (that other restaurants have) so that your server doesn't have to carry so many dishes (and contaminate food) just the one tray? And the customer can have a plate of food without indents? Food on menu looks great, cooks make it look great.... serve it how it's suppose to look. Great! Im sticking to Denny's. At least they walk back to the kitchen to grab more dishes then stack 'em. read more

While traveling we stopped in for breakfast. We split the chicken fajita omelet and it was really yummy. It came with pancakes and they were light and fluffy. We had excellent service from our server Cristina, she was wonderful. She was so sunny and helpful and we were in and out in 40 minutes and it felt relaxing. We stopped in for a late breakfast & were surprised that our wait was only 10 minutes or so. I had pancakes, eggs & coffee. The breakfast was fine & the coffee was fresh & tasty. My wife had an omelette & orange juice. The juice was good, but a bit pricey at $4.00 for a glass. The restaurant was very noisy, but other than that, it was a nice experience. read more

This place doesn't even deserve the one star. The food was bad and so was the service. We ordered off what we thought was the kids menu, mind you I had explained it was for my daughter. The menu she handed us was separate from the actual menu, stated kids eat free, had cartoons for kids, and had kids food on it. When I tried to explain this to her I was met with hostility. I asked her how was I supposed to know that it wasn't a kids menu and said "by reading it." Then after I explained to her I wasn't paying for it, she said she would take it off the bill. Got some IHOP takeout today, the quality was beyond bad. Dish 1: Sirloin tips (medium), Mushrooms, onions, scrambled egg. Meat, Mushrooms and onions were all burned beyond recognition. A pungent charcoal smell came off the box. Since the sides were piled on top of the burned items, everything tasted badly burned. Dish 2: Breakfast Burger, the burger itself was burned to charcoal. It was literally crispy. The order was for a plain burger, we found the bun soaked in some sort of sauce. Frys on the side: We counted about a dozen french fries. It baffles me how somebody can burn those dishes that badly. What a disappointment after a stressful day at work. Stay clear! read more

I ordered my food at 8:30 pm for curb side pickup. I get to ihop at 8:50pm. My pick up time was 8:48pm. I was told he would bring it out when it was ready. Well I wait in my car for another 15 minutes for others to come out with their pick up orders. I go into IHOP and ask where my order is. He said the kitchen is behind as I look around there is NO ONE I mean NO ONE In there maybe 4 groups of people with 3 people in each group. He finishes helping the person in front of me and told him 20 minutes. He some how gets his food before me after clearly placing it after me. The worker goes to the back of the kitchen to see what is taking so long. Apparently they never cooked my food. So he tells me 10 minutes. It's now 9:30 and I'm leaving with my food that wasn't cooked the correct way. read more

I ordered a salad on my lunch break. I specifically waited until the time my food was promised to be ready to go pick it up since I was on my lunch break. Even though I waited the 15 minutes they said it would take to make my salad, my food still took an additional 10 minutes for them to make. There were only 2 tables with patrons at them and the service still took almost twice as long as I was told it would take. Then there wasn't even an acknowledgement of how long it took much less and apology for the delay. This is my second experience of piss-poor service at this location. I won't be back. read more

This place has came along way since it first opened. I think it was growing pains. I've been praying for a second ihop location for a while and when it was finally built I was extremely happy lol. But early on had issues with order accuracy on To go orders. Those issues have been corrected the staff now is friendly and speedy and the food is amazing. Normally IHOP on March Lane is the place to go for a large pancake or waffle breakfast. But today was not a good experience. We got seated promptly but next to a very LOUD table and we asked to be seated in a quieter part of restaurant. The middle section was closed they said, but another couple were sitting in it and eating, near the table we got seated in, once seated I needed to ask for manager to take our order, one waitress said this section is closed so can't take your order and walked away. Plus my hash browns were burnt. I also asked for more butter and got a large bowl of butter, way more than one person needed. I was also disappointed the milkshake stainless steel canister with the remaining milkshake wasn't included. Like other restaurants provide. It felt like false advertising. Why include a picture of the canister if it's not included. Waitress said to show how it's made. Our waitress Margarit #3025 was bad. No tip left for bad service provided. read more

Not gonna lie, we just went to grab a quick bit for breakfast. It's IHOP... I wasn't expecting a miracle... but breakfast was actually AMAZING. I had the egg white omelet and it was perfect. I had the hash browns instead of the fruit and the hash browns were perfect too, just the right amount of crisp. The Service was also great. It was quick and friendly. When there was a line when I went to pay, another hostess showed up and took me to another register to pay so I didn't have to wait so long. EXCELLENT read more

For those that complain about empty tables and waiting, this happens everywhere. It's hard to get good people who come to work regularly. It's also wintertime and people get sick more, hence short-staffing. My suggestion is to not come during the busiest times in the morning. Anywhere you go, you will wait. Patrice has been our server on many occasions and is wonderful. Excellent personality and she truly wants her customers to have a good experience. We are here right now, some had to wait about 10 minutes and our party of 2 did. No big deal - the food is worth it. We got here later than usual today. It's fun to just get up early on a Saturday or Sunday and head to breakfast. Just get up, throw your clothes and a hat in and go. Love the Swedish and German Crepes. read more
