A fun pancake option, it was better with syrup than the cream cheese vanilla sauce.

Wanted a fast breakfast before heading for the airport. Chose Village Inn based off their outdoor signage promising sweet and savory pancakes. Never heard of savory pancakes (and ultimately didn't have any - it was basically a loaded hashbrown kinda something). I was seated quickly but waited a good bit for a server to come along. When I did, I ordered coffee, water and my meal. I got the special birthday cake pancakes with 2 eggs over medium, and 2 pieces of bacon. The coffee was typical restaurant fare with little to recommend it. The food came quickly. All was as it should have been. The bacon was slightly better than what you might get at Dennys. That's really what Village Inn is, a slightly better Dennys (or Big Boy?). The pancakes were tasty if a bit over sweet with the toppings, but that is what I ordered. I think they were better than Dennys too. Of course, I thought I was in a bit of a hurry until my phone chirped with the inevitable flight delay notification. I lingered a little longer before paying my bill at the counter. Other than the long initial wait, service was quick and kind. A 3.7 rating gets them a 4 score. It's not special but it was a decent meal for a decent price.

Visited location a few days ago with mom for a quick bite before heading to the airport. Service was exceptional. Waitro brought everything to the table including extra napkins without me asking. Food as always was fresh and delicious. I love their 2x2x2.

Despite my problem with my uber order, I went to the store and my food was re-made. I decided to sit and eat it while it was fresh and i was not disappointed anymore! The eggs were soft and the cheese added an additional flavor to it! The customer service from west and his crew was Good.

The service is a little slow, but the food actually looks like the photos. Huge portions, and the food comes out hot.

Drinks and food came out fast, delicious, and we weren't rushed. He always came to the table to see how we were doing, got us everything extra we asked for, and it made us wanting to make next month's get together back at the same place! For dinner, I chose the Rotisserie Farm Bird. The sauce it came on was good, but the breast was really dry. I used all the sauce on the plate for it, but I could still barely eat it. I had to ask a waitress passing by for some ranch (a trick, I learned to eat my mother-in-law's chicken). Of course the thigh and drum were better because they always are. The veggies on the plate were green beans, carrots, pearl onions, and potato. I don't know why people don't like their vegetables cooked anymore, but I don't like crunchy green beans. The carrots weren't exactly crunchy, but they weren't exactly cooked tender. They were definitely a weird texture. The (large) pearl onions were OK, but I would've preferred actual pearl onions rather than these that were kind of like the size of a shallot. The best thing on the plate was the potato and of course, not enough of it. I am diabetic so I did not try the whiskey cake. I'm sure it would have been delicious.

I was really worried about parking because I remembered what it was like with that early on, but it seems like their parking has expanded. I think it's because it's now right next to a fitness studio that together they realize they needed a lot more parking, so there is quite a bit of parking in the parking lot behind it. That being said the restaurant wasn't that crowded so I don't know what it's like when both the restaurant and the fitness studio is crowded, but for a Saturday brunch, we had no issues finding a parking spot. We primarily came because the kids wanted to try the arcade. We got super lucky that the kids went into the arcade before a birthday party started. Once the birthday party started, they put out a sign that said there was a private event so it was completely closed to the public. That would've been such a disappointment so if you are really looking forward to the arcade like my kids are, I think it's worth a call ahead of time to make sure there is no private event that has booked that space. Overall, I wish I like the food better. The pretzel board was delicious and definitely a highlight. I got a mint tea that was absolutely amazing. At first. I felt like it was a little too sweet, but I really warmed up to it. Next time I should ask though for the sweetener on the side for me to control the sweetness level. I got the steak hash, and I wasn't a big fan. The steak was slightly over salted, although it was cooked perfectly. The potato hash was huge chunks of potatoes, so I just felt like it was a major potato overload. Overall, for the price of the dish, I thought it would be much better. I think fewer potatoes would have made it better, because the meat if it wasn't over salted would have been quite good. I got my eggs sunny side up and they were cooked perfectly. I really appreciate their kids menu, it has pictures of all the food so the kids were able to look at the pictures to choose. They both wanted their own pizza, one with fries, the other with fruit. The fries were delicious my son love them, the fruit was also good. They both only ate one slice of their pizza so we definitely could've gotten them one pizza to share. I got them both gummy bear lemonade, and it was actually quite sour to my surprise. We asked to switch out one lemonade for a Coke when my older son wouldn't drink it. I was surprised that we ended up being charged for both the Coke and the gummy bear lemonade when he didn't drink it. However, overall, our service was fantastic so I'm not going to let that small thing dampen my review of the service. My husband got the Caesar wrap, he really enjoyed it. He got truffle fries, which ended up being a good call because my older son ate all the fries. My husband got a margarita and really liked it. Overall, I think they do drinks well here. We sat outside and it was gorgeous. It's fully covered. We didn't feel that hot and they do have TV so you can watch sports. I do love the decor of this place overall. This isn't a place that we are running to come back to you, but I do believe we will be back in the future.

The service was fantastic, quick, and a tentative. We had an assortment of beer paired with a whipped feta snack, which was a fantastic appetizer for two. For entrées we had the pub burger and the steak sandwich. The burger was solid, but I wouldn't say it was phenomenal. However, the steak sandwich is a must have! The chips were well seasoned, and crisp as well. Overall, a great experience that I would give an 8.5 out of 10, we will be back!

I opted for the Shepherd's pie, which was very flavorful, but also managed not to be overwhelmingly rich. The layout creates a mixture of tea house and pub vibes depending where you are seated. I also tried the UK beer flight, which was a good way to try a bunch of different things without spending a ridiculous amount of cash. The service was attentive despite the busy night, which was appreciated. We had to leave our table when another reservation came in, but we didn't have any problem sitting on the porch to continue our conversation. No harm no foul there. Overall, Mad Dogs and Englishmen is a great spot formulated around a unique culture, which sets it apart from a lot of more generic places.
