This restaurant is located inside of the Westin RDU hotel. There is parking out front or in the parking structure nearby. The hotel near the restaurant is pretty. There are several tables to dine inside of the restaurant and a bar. I ordered the chicken. The chicken was very bland and was not good at all. For what I got it was not worth the price. Unfortunately I do not recommend this dish.

My brother chose this place to celebrate his bday. It's in the Westin hotel and I must say I could definitely see myself returning to try other items on the menu. The ambience was decent. Our server Isaiah was great. Very attentive and made great recommendations. If ever in the area give them a try.

Visited Il Falò for dinner with a friend. I saw them listed as a participant for Triangle's Restaurant Week, however; upon speaking with the waitress I learned that was not the case. ( As a critique: the marketing needs to be updated) As for the experience as a whole, it was an enjoyable one. There was no wait. Pleasing overall aesthetic. Waitress Dominique was accommodating & friendly. The focaccia bread was very tasty ( flavorful, warm and ever better with the olive oil available on the table) The menu is quite simple. My first choice was the steak & potatoes , unfortunately; they were out of potatoes. French fries were offered as a replacement, but I went with another dish entirely. Unika B. & Co.

Listen... Hands down one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in the RDU area. From the customer service to the ambiance to the taste of the food they did that {snap, snap}! It has been a while since I've gone to a restaurant that stayed on my mind once I left it. The calamari was definitely the star but the other dishes also held their own. I will definitely be eating here again the next time I'm in the area.

Great lunch outing with a dear friend. Jhun was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had salads, the salmon and bolognese. All was delicious. Great atmosphere and the manger stopped to see how we enjoyed the meal.

The ambiance was nice inside, clean and comfortable. I ordered the Cesar salad. The flavor combination was outstanding but In every bite I got sand. Returned the salad and stuck with a Margarita pizza that was ordered to share, on the side. Pizza was okay but had burnt spots on the bottom that came through in the flavor. The staff was friendly but I ordered water and unsweetened tea with lemon, I got sweet tea and water without any lemons. I didn't say anything. I just think the staff on this day aren't focused on their jobs. Wouldn't recommend just based on our experience.

I went here for some after dinner drinks with some friends late on a Saturday night and really Enjoyed it. The inside is beautiful and the service was good. We sat at a small round table just outside the bar seating area. We all ordered some cocktails, and everyone seemed to agree the drinks were strong and also tasted good. The price of the drinks are on the higher end for the area, but I felt the quality was worth it. I had an espresso martini and also tried my spouses dirty martini. Both were good. Our friends had two whiskey based cocktails from the cocktail menu which they enjoyed. We also had an order for truffle fries - SO GOOD and a margarita flatbread, which was my only "complaint." It was not very good, the sauce and flavors in general felt pretty underwhelming (especially for a restaurant of that caliber/price point) and actually tasted a tad bit undercooked. Still, I am giving them a solid 4 as everything else was so good, I'm wondering if may have just been an off night for that dish. Will definitely be returning to try out their main menu and/or other pre or post dinner drinks!

Fun night with delightful staff and excellent food. Very comfortable seating. The BEST parking is in the rear of the building with easy access to the restaurant through a well appointed access--decorated, accessorized, climate controlled area. We generally order "sharing" dishes. Items that will be easily shared by the two of us. We enjoyed pizza, salad and a delicious dessert.

I've been wanting to try Il Falo since I knew it was coming here. I'm a fan of Italian-inspired food and I like that Il Falo cooks with wood fire and quality ingredients. I dined here with a friend for a Birthday celebration. II Falo is a clean beautifulfully decorated restaurant. The staff here are kind and professional. Our waiter was Ava. The low table we were seated at was very comfortable I ordered the French 75, meatball appetizer, and the NY strip as an entree. All of my food had a great flavor and the ingredients tasted like quality ingredients. The only thing lacking was the temperature of the food. The food was not hot, which made me curious about the preparation process. For a menu that claims to be designed in collaboration with The James Beard Award-winning chef, I think I expected a way better food experience.

We set a reservation for 5pm on a Saturday night to celebrate our daughters birthday. We were seated immediately at 5pm when they opened. It is connected to the westin hotel and Starbucks which was interesting. Our hostess Julia was very polite and provided a great overview of the restaurant. Our server Greg was very focused on our table even when things got busy. He kept our table clean wand was respectful to our discussions by not interrupting and coming over when there was a break in conversation. The meatball appetizer was 3 large meatballs that were most and flavorful. The chicken parm was tasty with good tasting spaghetti. Only improvement would be more sauce/gravy and chicken cooked a little less (see slight burn in picture). Goat cheese and hony ravioli was ok but the sauce was too sweet and needed maybe another type of cheese to thicken it. The steak and fries were excellent. The fries tasted like they were cook we d in duck fat but not sure. The chocolate gellato was amazing! The black currantvtea was not on the elmenu but a bartender special and was great. We plan to return and try one of the signature pizzas. Recommend more mocktails as we don't drink alcohol and the bartender looked like he was very talented.

The food was excellent - we were a party of 6, all had different dishes, and we all really enjoyed them. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. But were we disappointed in the ambiance! The pictures we had seen made it appear to be much more cozy than it actually was. A high school cafeteria during lunch time would have been quieter. The noise level was ridiculously high, we couldn't even carry on a conversation without struggling or repeating ourselves. Unfortunate, because though we really liked the food, we will not be back. I'm giving it 3 stars just because the food was delicious and our waitress lovely. read more

Can't speak to the dinner, but the breakfast service was some of the worst I've ever had. I seldomly leave bad reviews, especially on the first try but it was so bad. They could not seat me immediately because every table was not turned over, took an hour to get oatmeal and a side of sausage with only two people in the restaurant- no apologies. Went back for quick dinner and the service was much better, and bolognese was pretty good. Jhun the bartender had great service. New place just working out the kinks. read more

I had higher expectations for a Westin hotel restaurant. The service was just ok. We had to ask for water refills 3x, a light beer is way overpriced, our meatballs were pink inside & the pizza looked nothing like the pizza in their marketing photos. What an amazing time! Went there to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. Isaiah was SUPERB, wonderfully attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food tasted GREAT! That bread.....yoooo!! I decided on taking my husband here for his birthday after checking out the menu & about you page on their website & was delightful surprised that they served locally made organic sourdough pizza, as well as local meats or so the website said. I was excited for that because health is important to me and it's hard to find a place to sell healthier locally sourced items. So we get to the restaurant ( I had no idea it was connected to a hotel ) when we get seated I asked the waitress to confirm about the info I mentioned I researched on their website she had zero idea what I was talking about and actually said "that's not true" so confusing. I then ask another waiter and he said I have no idea I'm not sure. Super not helpful and disappointing I believe if someone works at an establishment they should have that basic knowledge of what they're serving especially since they boast about it online... anyways the waitress didn't speak good English at all which is fine if you're not trying to make sure your order is correct & make sure you're not being over charged (just wait for the end of the review) so we order a " maybe sourdough " pizza & the steak with get this fries??? For over $30?? Weird. The steak comes out well done on the sides and raw in the middle after being asked to cook it medium. Not much flavor the fries were meh. The pizza was 7/10 not bad. The drinks were amazing seriously the dessert wine saved this entire experience from being terrible. We actually ended up buying a bottle of it for $45. The waitress I felt like didn't put much effort in, she was kind but not super attentive to our table and it definitely wasn't busy.. anyways came time to pay the total was $145 I gave her $45 in cash (yes I still have cash in 2025) and the rest on the card and I added to the tip with my card so the total should've been $116 (20% tip) taken out of my card with the $45 to cover the wine. She charged me the full $145 and kept the $45 in cash as well, overcharging my card, so I'm obviously very upset I didn't realize it till the next day because I wasn't thinking anything could've gone wrong considering I literally specified and said it over and over again how to split the money. So I call and the lady was in zero hurry to fix this obvious mistake & said the manager will be here tomorrow he will just call when he gets here. Well guess what it's been 3 weeks NO CALL! I think they fixed it on my bank statement as far as i can see but how unprofessional to not call , no apologies no anything! Ridiculous to charge an arm and a leg like I could've gone to angus barn for the price I paid with a ten times better experience and service and food it hurts when you waste your money and time especially in this hard economic time period just to be basically disregarded. RIDICULOUS. Don't eat here unless you're rich and just don't care if you blow money and time in the wind! read more

I stayed at the Westin where this located and was not expecting a lot from a hotel connected restaurant, But, it was a wonderful dining experience. The staff were friendly and efficient -- everyone was perfect in every way. The home made pasta was superb. (I live in the SF Bay Area which is sort of a foodie mecca) but this was the very best homemade pasta bolognese sauce! Try this restaurant if you are in the area. read more

Food was excellent with several dishes not often seen in North Carolina such as Cacio e Pepe and Pasta Bolognese with all beef. All pasta is hand made. Grilled vegetables were fresh as were the salads. The olive oil cake was delicious. The server was friendly and attentive. We ate dinner on a beautiful night and we're able to sit outside. The restaurant, which is located in the Westin Hotel, is very convenient to the airport. I recommend the restaurant even if you are not at the airport. read more

Upon arrival, the host was confused when we mentioned we had an open table reservation. The reservation was for outside seating and they informed us we could not be seated outdoors. It took roughly 40 min and reminding a server to get our drinks. After over an hour, two entrees were brought to our table, neither ours. When we said it wasn't what we ordered, the server looked visibly confused despite having written down our order. We ultimately left because we had waited close to 90 min without any idea on when the food would ever (if it would ever) be served. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I do not understand how this restaurant operates. Additionally, the website does not depict how the local actually looks. read more

Part of the new Westin not an intimate experience, open modern. Very very good Bolognese, best i have had in a restaurant 5/5, the pizza was good, crust could have been crispier, but decent pizza. Salad was good, overpriced, drinks over priced but you're paying for the space. Ill go back for the bolognese, I'll pass on the salad and request extra crispy pizza crust. read more

Consistent, delicious and should absolutely be on your radar if you live in the area. Not just a top notch restaurant for hotel guests. Himachi Pesce Crudo is a must. A special menu. I look forward to staying at the hotel for work because of the quality and tastes on the menu at IL Falò. read more

Robin and Ava were our expo and server and they were absolutely wonderful!!! My only issue was the food. It was either really delicious or it was a compete miss. The Warm Olive Oil cake was burnt, and my roasted chicken was undercooked. I don't think the chef liked me pointing that out too much lol but that's ok. The lime basil sorbetto was PHENOMENAL WOWWWWWW!!!! read more

Panysaurus over all is a very cool place (either location) but they have drastically different vibes - which in my book is a good thing. The Raleigh location has a smaller footprint and doesn't have the same outdoor patio vibe. The dinning area is a bit small but turn around is quick and there is plenty of space to stand and socialize if you're just there for the beer. I really love Ponysaurus beer, their pilsner is nice but their kolsch is my favorite. The Raleigh location menu has lots to choose from, we had a margarita pizza with pepperoni, hummus and wings. I can't recall what was in the hummus but we practically licked the bowl and the wings were a big hit too - note the Durham menu is a bit scaled down but one thing that's consistent with both locations is the amount of pita that came with the hummus. There is nothing worse than getting a huge bowl of hummus and only a few pieces of hummus or chips. Both locations knocked it out of the park - plenty of WARM pita for everyone. Service was great, we did't wait long and the tables were turned over quickly. They use a mobile app for ordering food which makes ordering fast and efficient and the food is delivered to your table - which I must note came out very fast.

This dish is a must try when you visit Taverna Agora in downtown Raleigh. I had the Poseidon Branzino which was fabulous. The dish had roasted branzino, medley of sautéed cherry tomatoes and onions, fresh herb rice, and skordalia (I had to look up what that is - a fascinating Greek garlic puree). The blending of all those flavors made for a scrumptious dinner, and thanks to the kitchen team for preparing it perfectly so that I could even eat the skin of the fish. We shared two bottles of Assyrtiko wine which is one of our favorite Greek wines after visiting Greece a few years ago. The wine list at Taverna is simple but thorough and fun to experiment with. Walking in you'll feel like you've been transported to a village like, Greek atmosphere. To sit down you'll check in with the host and then be seated either inside or on the rooftop. We opted for the rooftop as it was a nice evening. To start I ordered the Baklava Old Fashioned (Bulleit bourbon, homemade baklava syrup, Angostura bitters, and Amarena cherries) which was amazing. Next we ordered the trio of all three spreads (Tzatziki, sun-dried tomato hummus, and spicy feta spread) and the calamari. Both dishes were excellent and I definitely prefer the spicy feta and tzatziki sauce. For my main course I ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop (Chargrilled tomahawk chop, spinach, barrel-aged feta, herb aioli, Greek lemon potatoes) which was a bit disappointing. I probably should have sent the pork chop back as it was cooked well done and was very dry but was I was too hungry and didn't want to make my parents wait. For dessert I ordered Baklava Cheesecake (New York-style cheesecake with nuts and baklava filling) which was very nice and my mom ordered the Limoncello cake (lemon cake with lemon cream frosting) which was definitely the star of the show. If I'm back downtown I may try Taverna Agora again but will definitely avoid ordering the pork chop.

Their outdoor seating looks nice but we were limited to indoor seating due to our party of 10 (on the large side for a restaurant this size).

The food : Brussels sprouts in sauce were placed in front of us with no serving utensil, we asked for extra roumelade for the Pickles & Peppers but it took so long to arrive that there was nothing left to dip in it, wrong plates were placed in front of us, hamburgers were WAY over cooked and super dry, sweet potato fries were very soggy, sushi was bland. The espresso caramel chocolate malt that we loved so much before had zero malt flavor and was pretty much melted by the time we got it. We asked for six spoons for the malt and they brought five. We couldn't get anyone's attention to get a sixth, so two of us shared (we were tired of going to the station to fetch things for ourselves). We had a fantastic dining experience that truly stood out, thanks to both the food and the service. The margherita pizza was absolutely fabulous--thin, crisp crust with just the right amount of fresh mozzarella and basil. The chicken parmigiana was another standout: perfectly breaded, juicy, and served with a rich, flavorful marinara sauce. My wife's gnocchi was spot-on--light, pillowy, and served in a beautifully balanced sauce that complemented it perfectly. Not everything hit the same high mark, though. The grilled chicken was a bit of a letdown--it came out slightly dry and didn't have the same attention to detail as the other dishes. For dessert, the chocolate gelato was amazing--smooth, rich, and indulgent without being too heavy. Service throughout the night was excellent. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and Kevin the bartender deserves a special shout-out. His old fashioneds were perfect--balanced, smooth, and made with care. When we tried to provide polite, constructive feedback about the food, the chef was visibly defensive and dismissive to us not liking the food, which made the entire situation uncomfortable.
