Horrible Food Poisoning!!! My mom and I ate here a few days ago, and we both got violently sick with food poisoning. We just recovered after a few days of hell. I've never had food poisoning that bad before. Either their lettuce or meat is contaminated with E. coli or some other type of contaminant, or if the employees are careless and unsanitary when prepping food. Avoid eating at this location. I can tell you that this particular In-N-Out is filthy, especially from all the reviews on here. I wonder if other people got really sick on the same day we ate here. read more

Probably my least favorite location in LA. While the food and service were up to par with the expectations from this LA-local company, the physical location has so many limitations that it deters you from wanting to come back. First of all, there is no drive thru here. Secondly, it's part of a large shopping center, which means parking and getting here "quickly" is out of the question. Thirdly, there is barely enough seating for being in the heart of Downtown Glendale! We had to scout for seats during a weekend lunch rush as if the world was ending. The only complaint is the long lines that look like there just might be a rollercoaster at the end instead of a person in a window taking money in exchange for burgers and fries. The fries do taste have to texture of an Amazon delivery box if you don't eat them within 2-6 mins, but within that timeframe they're damn good. In N Out has several assigned Complimentary 30 min parking in the structure or you can use $10 mall valet. I love In-N-Out and this place is a great one! It's easy to find and it's a pretty large setting to eat in. The staff are always respectful and the maintenance for the facility is up to par. The burgers are always delicious and the fries are freshly cut. It's my favorite burgers and fries place because it's more real than any other fast food spot. The place has free parking that's part of the Galleria. This is why didn't give it a 5 because the parking situation is terrible because of sharing with the Galleria. So expect some complication on busy times (weekends/lunchtimes/ etc.)! Other than that however, this place is great! read more

I really just love their burgers and fries and how conveniently this one is located next to the mall. Parking does get a bit hectic since it's really rare that you find parking on the same level as the In N Out, so you have to go up a couple levels in the mall parking lot. But on the upside parking is free and you can burn some calories headi g back down to the restaurant. They have a lot seating since it's a bigger location, but when it gets busy it does get difficult to find a seat. But the last time I went, my friend was able to snag a seat for us in the corner of the restaurant close to the entrance. I got a protein double double with fries. So it was two patterns with cheese and grilled onions with a slice of tomatoe sandwiched between two pieces of lettuce. Not my favorite In-N-Out because of the parking situation, or lack thereof. The problem is that it's basically a part of the mall complex, and thus shares the mall parking as well. On crowded days (which, let's face it, doesn't happen as often anymore), there was always a bit of a lack of parking compared to other locations. However, this place is just as solid in terms of food and service. In fact, one very big pro is that it's very large inside, so there is a lot of seating (although not during Covid times). We've always been able to find a table here, no matter when we've gone, which is sometimes lacking in other locations. Pro's: The service and quality of the food preparation at this location are consistently very good. Con's: Impact of the homeless. I no longer "dine in" at this location because I would frequently encounter the unpleasant smell of a homeless person while trying to eat my meal. Yes, he/she paid for a meal and has every right to eat there, but I'm a customer too and foul smells can be very unappetizing. Often, it occurs with a homeless person just hanging out and not eating. I volunteer my time and donate money toward helping the unhoused, and know that it is a difficult issue. I don't envy management in their efforts to deal with it. Patrons with dogs. It is not uncommon to observe customers bringing (non-service) dogs into this location and management says nothing. Just yesterday, I observed a woman with two small dogs on leashes waiting for take-out. It is not sanitary. This In N Out can get pretty crowded (as most In N Outs can), especially by 2 malls but the problem at this place is that they're not really consistent with the burgers or fries, especially when it's more busy. The last time I ate here my burger was raw in the middle but they were able to quickly rectify the situation by making me a new burger. This In N Out is also not that clean compared to other ones I've been to, most likely due to the high traffic. To park, there is a parking garage right next door that usually has parking. So disappointed. I was enjoying my meal when I noticed a homeless woman was getting yelled at by this white blonde employee. She paid for her meal but she filled her water cup with a little bit of Coca Cola. Hands down my favorite burger place! May get crowded at times and hard to find seats (because it is so damn yummy everybody wants some) but it is worth it. Burgers and fries are perfectly sized and cost only a dollar something each. Milkshakes are not my favorite but I love their thousand island spread. It was my first time visiting LA and I just had to try In-N-Out--and it was very mediocre. I ordered a double cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, animal sauce, lettuce, and hot peppers, cheese fries, and a drink. Despite all the sauces on the burger, it was still EXTREMELY dry. The cheese fries were disgusting. The cheese was HARD by the time I took it to my table! It literally tasted like a melted a craft single on fries. The cheese didn't even touch most of the fries. On the bright side the meal was very affordable. It totaled to $10.85 (tax included) which is very inexpensive for what I ordered. I guess what you pay for is what you get. The service was pretty good, and the cashier was helpful and explained the menu to me since it was my first time. Would I go to In-N-Out again? Maybe. This review is a heads up warning for corporate. I was there today at 2:30pm. No line. Lunchtime Rush was clearly over and apparently quite busy judging by the dirty tables and stuffed waste barrels. I ordered 1 animal style burger without cheese or dressing and french fries. And waited 20 min. When I went up to the counter to find out what was going on (because I had been watching them and everyone seemed to be moving in slow motion...every now and then an order would come out by itself and somebody would pick it up), I saw a number of orders that seemed to be ready except for fries. They were next to stacks of french fries. So I asked the young woman who was letting people know their orders are ready if she could hand me my hamburger and put fries on it. In her extremely bored monotone, she replied: "I am not allowed to because I have to wear a plastic glove." I asked to speak to the manager about this, so she called his name and he turned out to be one of the guys flipping burgers. His name is Omid. I explained that she needs a glove in order to hand me French fries with my order and he shrugged and explained that this is the case so there's nothing they could do and he went back to his burgers. Finally somebody showed up who was certified to move the fries to the burgers that had been sitting on their trays... And I took one bite of a fry, found it cold, and...you guessed it...asked her again to speak to the manager. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and yelled out his name. He showed up. Exchanged them for hot fries, and listened with a stone face when I told him that this was the slowest service I've ever experienced at this particular location. What can I say about the legendary In-N-Out burgers that hasn't already been said? A family-owned chain of burger stands that has been around since the dawn of (burger)time that offers the basics--made-to-order burgers, fries and drinks. Their food is well worth the money, but because the food has been reviewed (extensively) elsewhere, I will leave it at that. Did you know that In-N-Out is credited with being the first drive-thru hamburger stand? Interestingly, the Glendale is one out of only five of their stores without a drive through (probably because you'd have to drive through a mall!) an omission which does little to decrease popularity much, as they are busy from open till close (10:30 to (at least) 1 AM). Because it lacks a drive-thru, parking is definitely an issue to consider as part of the experience at this particular restaurant. The front of the store faces Brand blvd and has a LA Metro bus stop located at the curb. If you are heading south on Brand-immediately preceding the storefront there is a small turn-out lane intended for brief loading/unloading only, but people (read a**holes) do park there. Immediately after the storefront (going south on Brand) turn right, into the driveway alongside the restaurant. After about 200 feet turn right, into the multi-level parking structure. Turning on the first left will take you up, into the structure and taking the second left will lead you to the street and/or a second parking structure. Patience is a necessity due to an unexplained loss of skill and common-sense, which commonly occurs when others are driving in Glendale. Perhaps due to the extra frustration imposed on customers while parking, the staff at this In-N-Out are extra courteous and helpful. One in particular, Krystine, seems almost telepathic in anticipating what I want to order. She also has a 10k gigawatt smile which almost shines through her facemask and makes my day everytime I visit. Kudos-- to the entire staff for a burger well made and a job well done! read more
