By far one of the best In N Out locations I have been to. Truly the gods of fast food and customer service. Do not be discouraged by the small menu or the long lines of customers because this establishment has got it together. Whether Drive thru or inside, the line could be 10-20 customers long and you will feel like you are flying through the line. The entire place stays pretty clean all the time and the food is always made fresh to order. The whole staff is so nice and respectful you feel like royalty. Being a California transplant I was new to the whole In n Out experience. At first I wasn't impressed, but over the years this place has started to grow on me. I'm really not a fan of the fries, but I'm all about the Double Doubles and Strawberry Shakes! No need for other fast food joints this one takes the cake! read more

I do NOT understand everyone's obsession with this place. Came to California and everyone was like OMG you haven't ate there!?!? Was not a fan when I first came there. Maybe where I grew up they make better burgers. Don't get me wrong the food is fresh. The food is way to salty for me even when I ask for no salt. It always goes right through me. I especially love them when you've been on a road trip & you're craving a burger meal of sustenance. There's nothing like them. Many burgers have tried & failed. Depending on how hungry I am I'll usually get the #1(the double cheeseburger) or the #2(the cheeseburger). This time I chose the #2; but I always make sure to get animal style fries. They're my favorite part of the whole meal, if you don't know what animal style fries are, probably because you live on mars, they're fries smothered in cheese & special sauce (thousand islands dressing) & topped with grilled onions. The burgers are old fashioned. What real burgers are made of with real ingredients. & the milkshakes remind me of the old school malt milkshakes. Basically any place I can find and in-&-out, I'm there. They never get old or disappoint. Stop by if you're close, & if you're not, you're truly missing out. Oh & if you're on a diet, this is my fav place to get a protein style burger (without the bun, wrapped in lettuce). The burger still carries so much flavor. I recommend giving it a try. I walked in with my children after a long drive. We went in and ordered food, staff was friendly. It was pretty busy so we go to sit down, an employee comes over to clean the table and he brought me a highchair. It doesn't seem like a big deal to some, maybe others might even expect that type of treatment but I thought it was awesome. My baby is heavy, I was tired. We just put in an absurdly complicated order: a 3 x 3 with everything on the side (buns and all) and as many double doubles and animals fries as $60 can buy. Again with everything on the side. Not only were the folks here incredibly accommodating of this order, but it came out in no time even though it was the middle of the lunch rush. Sooo hungry and I wanted real food.. A good burger sounded good.. The line was literally 20+ when I got here and is still that long as I'm finished playing and at the pick up window. I like that they have people with tablets outside in the line taking orders way in advance to speed things up so the line goes fast. Th3 employees are really friendly and the food is goos.. I just wish they made the shakes when you were paying so they weren't starting to melt by the time you get them: drive-thru is often to go so it's better to wait a minute on the shakes. Gotta love cheap well made burgers. I mean its American tradition that has been around for over 50 years. The business speaks for itself. I'm also sure almost everyone in Cali has had it. I love their burgers but this place is too crowded. The drive thru wait can sometimes be awful. I rather not go and avoid the crowds even though I like the burgers a lot! They need to build more of these burger fast food joints. That might help us Americans get fatter. read more

I stopped eating here because I was constantly getting sick right after eating (I'm not a picky person with a complicated order whatsoever) I started craving it a week ago and finally went tonight and dealt with a long line for he drive thru like always. Girl taking orders seemed irritated but was relieved we knew exactly what we wanted. Finally when I got to the last window for my food the girl asked if I wanted ketchup and I told her no but I would love LOTS OF SPREAD.... I walked out with 2 packets of spread and lots of ketchup??? In N Out is the bomb but the lines at this location are the longest I've ever had to wait and I've been to many locations in SoCal. This problem could easily be fixed with more locations. East Lancaster and east Palmdale would LOVE to have In N Outs. Food is awesome though. read more

I honestly don't know how people can give this place anything less than 5 stars. We've been here a couple times since moving to CA and immediately fell in love with it. This is the only fast food restaurant I've been to where the food you get actually looks like the pictures. The only thing you might be able to dock them on is the length of time it takes to get the food. However, they do an amazing job considering there hasn't been less than 20 cars in the drive-thru and less than 10 people in line waiting to order whenever we've been there. read more

Evrytime i have driven by here... doesn't matter what time of the day, it is always super busy. The drive thru always extends onto 20th st.
