It is hard for me to imagine what else someone could be looking for in a fast food joint that would deem this less than 4 or 5 stars. The meal is not from frozen, they deliver this stuff here every day. The employees are paid well and put on their game face to make sure they are not bumming you out with their personal agenda. No they don't have a dollar menu because they don't need a gimmick to get you in the door. No they don't run coupons or specials because they have a fresh consistent simple offering that is fair for the price. It is almost never "fast" because it is only prepared after you order it and if 20 other people ordered before you, it is gonna take a 10 or 15 minutes. We order our burgers WELL DONE. They are never well done. These burgers are extremely thin (and delicious) so how is the burger served pink and still moo'ing when we order well done ? The young man at the counter was kind enough to have it remade and I'm happy to say the burger I now had to take home was done as I ordered it and was able to tolerate eating it. We headed over to this location on Wednesday evening. They had 2 lines of girls with IPads taking our orders. Then we were told to get behind a certain vehicle to wait in the single lane. There were about 20 cars ahead of us so I figured it would be a hour wait at least. When we arrived at the pay window, I was shocked that the gal working the window was not wearing gloves and handling all that money...I told my daughter not to take the small change from her, I admit I was freaking out. At the next window the girl there was not wearing them either... I wasn't too concerned since the workers handling the food all wear gloves. I was happily surprised that the wait was only 15 minutes. They definitely are a well-oiled machine. We had 2 doubles animal style. Too big for me. The food was awesome but the fries are always undercooked in my opinion even though we asked for them well-done. We had the vanilla and chocolate shakes which are made with real ice cream. I have yet to try the Neapolitan shake but I hear is epic. My favorite place is Shake Shack but In and Out runs a close second place. Good location! read more

What can I say that has not been said before. In and Out is always consistent with their food. I love the flavor of their burgers. I also love that I can get it protein style which means no bun and wrapped in lettuce. I can get a veggie burger cheap here everything minus the meat. I get raw onions and grilled onions on my burger. I love the spread on their burgers. Did you know you can ask for spread? Yep they will give you small packets of spread. I use it on my fries and sometimes I put more spread on my burger. My son loves their milkshakes. The employees are friendly and polite. We usually go thru the drive thru here. It's an In-N-Out, how can it be less than five stars? In my world, this is the best fast food hamburger I've ever tried. Five Guys arrived and I checked it out, but back to the old stand bye. Could it be that I've been eating them since high school? Could it be that I've been to the original location prior to them tearing it down? Could it be consistency? Could it be that I'm a real sap? Could it be 'animal style'? Simply put, it's all of the above, and the south Reno location is no different. You get exactly what you expect from folks with a positive attitude and an attention to detail. We arrived about 3:30, well after the lunch hour, we thought, and the place was jamming. There must have been ten to fifteen cars in the line, no tables available inside, and tables occupied outside. We had some time, and so we opted to eat inside, knowing it would take a while. This is a small detail, but it points out what makes them great. The spicy wax peppers that are featured here were down to the final four, and they happened to be small. I made them an appetizer while waiting for our burgers. As my number was called I checked to see if more had arrived, and, sure enough, there was a restocked supply of them. A young lady with round glasses working at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 2nd 2023 was a huge jerk!!! She stood so far away, and was so rude when she couldn't hear us. In-N-Out is always a treat, because we don't have one in Idaho where we live. Usually, we Hit the drive through and continue on down the road, but today we decided to go inside. The lines were typically long but the service was fast, as usual! It was a special treat to meet Donna, who was checking on everyone to make sure they had what they needed, and keeping the restaurant tidy, which is a big job, considering the number of people coming through. Donna was very friendly, and said she had the best job because she got to be out with the customers. As an added bonus, at the end of her shift she gets to take home a burger and fries to share with her dog. That is the kind of friendly interaction that will keep me coming back! Thank you, Donna!! Not a huge fan of the In-N-Out brand but I do enjoy it very rarely as most people find me strange when I say "Eww" to this place I must admit I'm not saying I love it but I do have to say I kinda like it at times, I think its slowly growing on me. Wait, let me say that these are one of the best as the original Awful-Awful downtown is right up there, but I do love animal style on my burger and fries sometimes!
