In-sīt is a specialty coffee roaster that is a perfectly good example of a shop that doesn't try to hard with excess marketing and gaudy SEO terms. It's been here a while, which as probably helped, and it doesn't fall into that design trap of being overly minimal or whatever. It's warm and inviting, but at the same time, it's not a place I would consistently stay at for my personal taste. I feel like because it's well-established, that's not a problem. They've got plenty of "fun" drinks, which is what they're known for, to me. I often come by for a banana-based drink, whether it be matcha or coffee. Cute little café that's perfect for hanging out with a coffee and a croffle. The atmosphere is cozy, making it an easy spot to relax, catch up with a friend, or get a little work done. I ordered the Tiramisu Croffle ($9.25). The traditional croffle is only $5.25, so I was a little hesitant about paying the extra $4 just for the tiramisu cream. Thankfully, the croffle itself was delicious--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and satisfying enough that I didn't regret ordering it. We went here after a workout and it seems right before it got pretty busy. I got a strawberry matcha and my friend got a matcha cloud 9. The cloud 9 has a cold foam on top and she made it a banana foam. We enjoyed both of our matchas and took some to go. I'd also say this may not be the best spot for studying, since the tables and chairs aren't the most comfortable for sitting and working for long periods. I was excited to try out this cafe that's been bookmarked for quite some time. Today was a good occasion as I was en route to LA county. The inside of the cafe has some seatings available. The pick up and order area is small so having 5 customers ahead of me made it hard to differentiate who is waiting to place the order or just waiting for their orders. The cashier was efficient. I ordered the Matcha Cloud 9 and croffles. Both items became available before the other customers who placed their orders well ahead of me. As much as I appreciated not having to wait much, it made me feel bad leaving with my order before them. The matcha was underwhelming in size and taste. It had a chalky texture and had too much ice. So the drink was finished in 4-5 sips. It's $8 for a 5-sip 12oz cup. Rather pricey and very underwhelming for what it is. The croffles were ok. I got the plain ones and it had a nice scent to it. Stopped by In-Sit Coffee and tried the new Cloud 9 series, specifically the matcha with Biscoff, and honestly I really liked it. I'm pretty picky with matcha because a lot of places make it either too sweet or too earthy, but this one was balanced really well. Smooth, creamy, and flavorful without feeling heavy. The Biscoff topping was a really nice touch too. Also wanted to shout out Eugene and Sean. Both were super welcoming and easy to talk to, and they took the time to explain the new series they launched instead of just handing over the drink and moving on. You can tell they actually care about what they're putting out. The whole place has a really clean aesthetic and the drinks look just as good as they taste. Definitely one of the better coffee spots I've been to lately and I'll for sure be back to try more from the menu. read more

Came here after a long morning desperately needing coffee. I checked Yelp and saw so many great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. It's a very small place and the coffee options were not giving. If you want a specialty coffee you have to add on everything to make it great. For a small 4 sip coffee that cost 7 dollars I wasn not adding foam or anything else. The service was fine, but I would not come back here for coffee. There are way too many better places that have specialtiy coffee for the same exact price. Def disappointed. read more

In-sit never disappoints, the coffee is always assembled in a manner that shows intention and care. From the second you step in, the store front is well lit, while playing good music. There is seating available but the store itself is on the smaller side. They definitely packed as many seats in as possible, so if you're looking to study you may be elbow to elbow with other customers if the store is busy, which it usually is but take that as a sign that the drinks are good, and worth waiting for. The service is always really nice, and again there is alot of care that goes into everything. I finally got to try this place out yesterday and was very impressed! I chose to get the matcha cloud 9 (basically a double matcha), and found that it was very high quality & had the right level of sweetness. What I loved is how the staff will bring out the drink to you instead of you having to go up to the counter to get it. My only complaint is that the size of the drink is pretty small compared to the price. I paid $8 for my drink and didn't even get a milk substitute. Luckily parking for me wasn't an issue since I got there pretty early in the morning, but I can see how getting a spot later in the day can be difficult. There are several other businesses in that same complex that appear to be pretty popular. read more

There's no visible menu until you reach the register, so I winged it and picked based on the drink photos on the window--Cloud 9 and Hojicha Banoffee. The shop itself is cozy and kind of tight. The Cloud 9 came in a smaller cup, but the matcha flavor was strong and not overly sweet, if you enjoy a bit of a grassy taste. As for the Hojicha Banoffee, I couldn't really taste the banana because the hojicha overpowered it, but I would still get this again. The girls were super friendly, and we're honest and said that they had no more of their baked goods since I was coming in out around 530, but they told me that they did have a Little waffle plates. There was also this interesting piece in the middle. Where multiple people could sit. It's pretty cool and surprisingly comfortable. I'm just sad. There was a lot of matcha flavor and just a bit sweet. However I saw a lot of reviews saying it was a bit grainy and I have to agree. Also tried the avocado toast and loved it. There's nothing at all that I would change. The place itself is great, there's quite a decent amount of seating for the size of the place, and it's a great place to get some work done.
