    Honey Garlic Shrimp

Fun place to try new flavors on the main stripe in West Seattle. We walked in around 6 on a Thursday and it's pretty busy already. We got seated in a booth right away and the staff was attentive without being too much. The menu had a different sections based on the flavor profile - Indian, Indian Asian or Indian Italian. I liked the honey garlic shrimp, green curry and lamb chops. The garlic naan was flavorful but not my favorite texture.

Indofusion was overall really good. My wife and I both enjoyed eating here. I will say the reason I have three starts was because of the service. Our server was not really attentive and for the price we paid, we felt we deserved better service. Overall, our food was delicious. It came out warm and had delicious species that had a very distinguished taste. I had the Indian quesadilla and some naan with cheese in it. My wife had a soup and some other delicious stuff. The vibe inside is very modern, yet casual. You have to be an adult to enter. It is 21+ only. The bar is nice as well. The drinks were really good and they have great signature cocktails to choose from. Overall, aside from the bad service we received, I recommend this restaurant for good Indian fusion food.

We ordered takeout. The apps we got were the gobi Manchurian and the garlic green beans. My roommate got the chimichurri lamb chops and I got the paneer masala lasagna. Half of the order was pretty good. The gobi Manchurian had a good kick and the lamb chops were cooked well. The chimichurri had sufficient flavor. However, the green beans were almost entirely flavorless and the paneer masala lasagna tasted like cheese with Campbell's tomato soup poured over it. Wow. Seriously disappointing especially given the star rating of this place. Generally don't recommend.

Lovely flavors, fun menu and a good take on a fusion opportunity. Sits with any other fusion spot that does it right as a justified return location to try out other combos. They're open late and afford through that a late night pass through with a full kitchen and bar support. The flavors pop and work well, with portions that are small enough to be shared and not overwhelm at the same time. Very worth a visit and a group sit down.

I can see why this place is almost five stars. I don't usually dole out a five-star review that often but it was worth it. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is nice and was comfortable enough! It's kind of a small place, so on busier nights or likely during lunch there might be a wait. The food came out fast, which is not like any other Indian restaurant I have been too, ha ha... We tried a number of things, all had great flavor and I would recommend trying just about anything on the menu. While it is "Fusion" and I ordered the Enchelada's, they were not anywhere near that. With that being said, they were delicious, whatever you want to call them. Probably the best thing we had was the Gobi Manchurian appetizer. While the fries and the shrimp were also excellent, this was by far the best of the night. The cheesecake is different and highly recommended if you like that kind of thing. Great place, don't miss out!

The food here is absolutely amazing! Their flavors are so unique, but everything we ate was so flavorful and delicious! I've never seen a place be able to come up with so many different profiles and do it so well. They were able to intricately cater their menu to have Indian spices mixed with different cultural cuisine such as Chinese, Italian, and Mexican. Our favorite dishes were the Butter Sauce Pasta, gobi manchurian, masala fries, chimichurri lamb chops, chicken lollypop tossed in Szechuan sauce. We will most definitely be back here soon. This place is perfect for a date night but make sure you are 21+ to enter in since there is a bar here too. The service here is very fast and kind. They gave us the pineapple bread pudding for free since it was our first time here and probably cause we ordered so much food too lol. Drinks: Chai espresso martini - you can taste a hint of chai and espresso when you drink it. I recommend getting this drink. There are coffee beans on there too for anyone wanting to flick the bean Indofusion - can definitely taste a tropical pineapple juice in this drink. It was a refreshing drink. Appetizers: Gobi Manchurian - the cauliflower was not only so flavorful. It was covered in sauce, but managed to keep its crispy texture at every bite. It is a must have dish! Masala fries - the French fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Chicken lollypop tossed in Szechuan sauce - the chicken was so crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and every bite was a symphony of flavors that I didn't want to stop eating. Entrees: Butter sauce pasta with chicken - I've never tasted Indian spiced pasta in my life and it was the tastiest pasta we had from the menu. The sauce was so creamy and full of spice that we couldn't resist wanting to keep eating even though we were really full from our large order. The garlic naan that came with it was buttery, garlicky, and flakey. Malai pasta with chicken - this was a creamy white sauce pasta and it was good too, but if we were to choose we preferred the butter sauce pasta more for their flavor profile. This also came with garlic naan which made the dish so filling. Chimichurri lamb chops - the lamb was so soft and tender. The meat was so easy to cut and eat. There was no hint of gaminess at all and dipping it with the chimichurri sauce was heaven. Dessert: Pineapple bread pudding - this was so yummy and refreshing. They have thin slices of pineapple laid neatly on top and the sauce on the outside of the bread pudding was so creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness,

Pretty good ambience. Loved the vibe and atmosphere. Came here myself and was craving some Indo Chinese food. I wasn't disappointed with quality and taste. However the portion size of Paneer Chilli was less and a simple Schezwan style veg fried rice took them over 40 minutes. This was after I reminded them 2 times. The server explained that they prepared it incorrectly the first time and had to redo it. I will buy that excuse for now.

Sleek atmosphere and genuinely interested staff. We really appreciated our servers insights as to flavor profiles and spice (heat) levels of these unique combinations. Portions are generous and well seasoned. Who knew cauliflower could be both pillowy and unctuous? Even my friend, who has a low heat tolerance, threw caution to the winds because they were so good. Green beans were also robustly flavored, not spicy. The paneer lasagne really worked. Good cheese and terrific tomato sauce. The noodles (which I suspect were the no-bake variety) needed to cook a bit longer. The texture wasn't quite right but the overall taste was good. Was happy to sop up the sauce with the warm naan bread! The cocktails were average, consensus was they somehow tasted one dimensional. A glass of wine or a beer might be a better option in future. Not all fusions work. These dishes did, and I look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

Amazing food and great environment! Service was also spot on! We will definitely be coming back. We had the loaded fries with Chicken, Naan & Hummus, Butter Sauce Pasta and Indo noodles + drinks

Indian fusion with Mexican. With Italian. With Asian. Who could even imagine? I've eaten here twice. The first time I ordered off the Indian Specialty menu, Butter Chicken, but with paneer instead of chicken (served either way- most items on the menu are also offered vegetarian). Delicious. My partner ordered Indo Mexican enchiladas- tortillas stuffed with masala chicken or Paneer. The second time, she ordered the same thing- a high recommendation. I ordered the paneer Lasagna off the indo Italian menu. Fantastic. Room is full of rich wood and feels warm and clean. Indian music. Very nice. The head waiter was the same both times and all the wait staff appeared to share a commitment to the restaurant 's success, making sure we were comfortable.

Wandered in alone on what happened to be their opening day for in-person dining (Aug 8). Ordered the Kale Chaat salad and fried rice Szechuan style, both were great and I thought the menu prices were very reasonable. Kale Chaat had amazing flavor with the different chutneys, veggies, and yogurt - didn't expect the kale to be flash fried, but it wasn't greasy at all. Fried rice was a huge portion, enough for a couple more meals as leftovers. Made with basmati rice, which was a first for me - living up to the fusion in Indofusion. The menu is organized into different Indian fusion specialties: Chinese, Italian, and Mexican as well as starters and salads. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to trying more items with a bigger group and excited for another restaurant option at the junction!

BoxBar has been on our list of vegan places to try for forever and a day. We made it out that way…read morethis weekend and our experience lived up to everything we've heard about them!! The pasta was amazingly tender, cooked to perfection. There was a lot of flavor and depth in each bite, more of a deliciously earthy mac and cheese as opposed to maybe a velveety smooth creamy type. The Jalapeño poppers were amazing. I've always associated poppers with a crusted fried topping but these were bold, going in a different direction. The jalapeños were fresh and soft to the bite, easy to cut with the side of a fork, loaded with components such as cashew cheddar, crema, avocado sauce, sweet pickled jalapeños, pico and cabbage slaw - all coming together perfectly in each bite (i'm utilizing their menu description) For the main dish, Sandi ordered the "Smokey Barbecue" which came with a complimentary side of chips and I ordered the Portobello French Dip and upgraded my side to a Side Salad for an extra $4. Each dish, every bite was delicious, even something as simple as a side salad was elevated with their Ginger Tahini dresing. Dipping the Portobello Sandwich into the Dip was just .. magical. We also both opted for the same drink, South Park Mule. The drink was legit, in addition to tasting great, I actually had a buzz as well .. indicating to me they didn't skimp on the adult juice Their food is amazing across the board and there's so much more to go back and try! Definitely worth the trip!!

I'm updated my review to reflect a recent takeout dining experience…read more A couple weeks ago, we ordered 2 salads, and 2 sandwiches. We ordered pickup. Upon arrival to our house, the order was incorrect, whoopsie! We called back and the waiter who answered mentioned that we had accidentally taken a staff meal home. None of our to-go boxes were labeled. How could anyone know? This is a rookie mistake. It's been a while since this Goblin worked in food, but that's a non-negotiable. Especially given a place that prides itself on catering to restricted diets and lifestyles. This is exactly how you let a pumpkin seed slide into a seed allergy order. Instead of letting us keep the meal, she asked us to bring it back to the restaurant. We were happy to do so. Everyone deserves to eat. Should we have kept it for ourselves? We bring the food back, and the waiter explains that there was a mixup, and apologized. They handed us another to-go box (which wasn't labeled) and tried to end the conversation. "Have a good night!" We had to then explain to this waiter that our wives demanded something in return for the error, which was true. The waiter/bartender had a puzzled look on their face. Customer? Demanding I make something right? In my workplace?! A direct statement void of passivity about the quality of my service? With conditions? The audacity! We live in a world where we, the customer, bring back your incorrect order for you, waste our time, and we just get a, "thanks, have a good night!" This goblin had to claw his way up the ranks pillaging for gold which doesn't come easy. Everyone knows food cost in Seattle went up ~%46 since 2019. Wages haven't. We told the waiter our wives wanted a slice of cake. The waiter was shook by our audacity, and moved towards the fridge behind the bar to consult with two chefs who were shutting it down. We were arriving near/at close on a Monday. The other two chefs body language exuded "just give them the rest of the cake". There was a couple moments of pause and hushed conversation. The waiter pulled out a large serving plate with only a small chunk of Chocolate Mousse Cake left. Instead of putting that into a box, apologizing, and fixing the problem. They conferred about the legitimacy of our claim with the chefs. Hesitantly, they cut the cake into a small slice, put it in a box (which wasn't labeled) and handed it to us. What's hilarious is that they would leave such a small piece going into the next day of prep. Why not just 86 it right there? Why was it so hard for this person to acknowledge they made a mistake, and do something kind for us in return? The chefs clearly understood these fundamental building blocks of customer service, had they not been there in the front of house, I'm sure the waiter would've made an excuse to not remedy the situation. From all of my years in food service, if something is wrong, you make it right, end of story. By owning the error, you keep your integrity. Even a small gesture like 10% off one item, between the hours of 7:35pm- 7:45pm every third Monday, however inconsequential and trivial, makes people feel like you've made things right. These basics need to be addressed with FOH staff. With food cost nearing the price of rent each month in Seattle, customers should feel empowered to speak their mind respectfully. My only reason for going into excruciating detail is the hope that this can be a teaching moment, and more people can eradicate passivity. Passivity is a threat to community, culture, service, and so many other integral parts of our society. It's OK to disagree in public. It's OK to check someone. It's OK to tell your server "No, honestly, it wasn't that good, here's why..". When we deny the truth about our experiences for fear of disrupting the status quo, we withhold an essential part of building stronger, more diverse and resilient communities. "Goblin D, don't you think this is a bit too deep for a food review?" No, and if you've made it this far, the two stars are for the two chefs who made sure we got our cake.

These managed to be both filling and light. Absolute win. I ordered an ABV free drink, True North. This was one of my favorite drinks I have ever had. I loved this combination of lime, ginger beer, hibiscus and the Pathfinder Hemp & Root. This was my first time trying this line of ABV free spirit, and I was blown away. The food: expensive for what it is. Long ago dear reader, this Goblin worked in food service. He can spot "ready-made foods" from a mile away. This place leans more "eating to satiate", than "eating to satisfy", no matter how hard I fight my Goblin brain. Each meal, I come to terms with the sucker I am for eating a $27 omelette before tip. Herein lies our problem dear reader. Do I want a hummus plate for $12-15, that is essentially a disassembled and then reassembled menagerie of pre-made product on a plate? Or how about a cup of some mid-gumbo for $8? As a Goblin I have eaten many old soups out of a dirty cauldron, but Mid-Gumbo tastes like how Jack Harlow must feel waking up and telling himself he got blacker. Concerning the food (and Jack Harlow), it's about more than just lack of seasoning.
