I wouldn't recommend this place. We went on a Saturday morning and it took over 45 minutes to get our food and it wasn't even that busy. We found this gem on yelp. There was about a 25 minute wait when we arrived so we debated on leaving but so glad we decided to stay. We had the Swiss Chicken sandwich with home made fries. It was delicious, they make almost everything here home made even the fries and bread. For dessert we decided on the German chocolate cheesecake also made in house. OMG it was amazing. I was looking for a place to get coffee on my drive to San Diego. I looked places up on yelp and this looked good and had good ratings. I had read reviews that spoke highly of the turkey club-OH MY!! It did NOT disappoint!! The cafe is cozy and the staff was kind and attentive. Carlos made me laugh which was a great start to the day. I had their iced Dirty Chai to go with the sandwich. It was delish. Now the pasta salad that went with the sandwich (you choose a side) was the best I've EVER had! I would go back for that alone!! While in Las Cruces, stopping by Indulgence bakery is a must. I was in the hunt for a delicious German chocolate cake to celebrate my boyfriend's Mother's bday. I stopped in Indulgence after looking online and was disappointed when they didn't have any small cakes available- you must order 24 hours in advance. I asked the hostess for recommendations on where to get a cake and she told me to try Toucans down the street but then told me she can promise me they wouldn't be as good as these cupcakes.... so of course, I had to try them out. I got an assortment of cupcakes- Mom was amazed with the flavor and a very happy birthday girl. My favorite cupcake was the cactus cupcake. The frosting was a light lemon flavor, yellow cake filled with strawberries. Probably the best cupcake I've ever had. The cupcake was so good that I accidentally dropped it on the floor and automatically applied the 5 second rule. Too good to waste lmao. Come to find out, this is what the locals consider the best bakery in town. I almost want to drive 10 hours just to get a cupcake and give Mama a kiss on the cheek! I had the Ultimate Breakfast Biscuit earlier today for lunch. Even though I don't usually eat out I'll have to admit this is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My personal talents doesn't include homemade biscuits, and I really hate those refrigerator things in a tube. Having just recently moved from out of state, I was on a desperate search for local bakeries I could order a cake and desserts from for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Not only do their desserts look amazing on social media, but they are also just as delicious! Even more, Meagan and Marybeth both went out of their way to reach out to me (even when the bakery was closed) to make sure I could place my custom order for cream puffs and a pink Italian Cream Cake to match our theme. I could not have asked for better service or a better experience. The desserts were the centerpiece of our table, and everyone loved them -- especially the birthday girl. We went to lunch today at the Indulgence Bakery & Cafe. I believe it has been open for about 10 days. The restaurant is located in the site of the former restaurant (Sheba Grill). My wife had the Swiss cheese/mushroom crepes which she would have easily given a 5*. I had the baked macaroni and cheese with a side salad. It was very good, but it was made with shells, not macaroni. It had a least 3 cheeses in the sauce. My salad was a typical side salad. Service was friendly, and very good. ME O MY!!! Incredible! Don't pass thru or stay in Las Cruces without making this one of the places you choose to dine. While there are a lot of breakfast choices in Las Cruces, this one eeks above the rest in all respects: coffee house, bakery, restaurant. The food and the service were extraordinary! First, the place was crowded at our 1ish pm arrival and we waited approximately 15 minutes for a table. It went by quickly as we surveyed their tantalizing delicacies in their bakery display case and purchased a blueberry cheesecake, a carrot cake cupcake and a few cream puffs. Upon being seated, we were greeted by Andrea whom excelled in customer service and made us feel welcomed, despite it being within an hour their closing time. My husband enjoyed a cup of black coffee which he said was a very tasty brew and I ordered the cold Dalgona coffee which is brewed with cinnamon and raw sugar, topped w/milk and poured over ice. It was spot on for the blustery summer day already exceeding 100 degrees. As for entrees, we both opted for brunch and split the ultimate breakfast sandwich with juicy fried chicken, perfectly cooked egg, crispy unctuous bacon, cheese, and sausage gravy piled on a fluffy homemade biscuit with a side of fresh cut potatoes. It was perfect on every level! We also ordered the Lemon Curd Blintzes to finish off our Sammy w/a bit of decadent, not too sweet crepes filled with a light, airy whipped ricotta, drizzled with an amazing lemon curd with a side of blueberry compote. We personally opted for the crepes sans compete as it just skewed the focus of the flavors from the subtle and lovely lemon curd/ricotta crepe. In my POV, perhaps the simplicity of a few fresh blueberries sprinkled on top would have detracted less than the compote but trust me this is just a personal tweaking preference as it is beyond delicious either way! Bottom line, this team works hard to hit on every level, from the kitchen to the floor, you will be rewarded with not only an exceptional, well priced meal but a feast for the eyes with local artwork displayed on their walls. Absolutely love this place. I used to work next doo and I would come here for lunch almost every day and for cream puffs and coffee in the mornings going into work. All of their desserts are fantastic. Their carrot cake is the best I've ever had! They have a great selection of food and their portions are great. Great place for breakfast, brunch or party sweets for your events. They make cakes and cheesecakes and dessert boards to order. Everything is made in their store. Super personable staff. They open pretty early but close earlier than most places so make sure you get in early because they get super busy! read more

The food that the cafe offers is Stellar. Its definitely a place I wish I had discovered much sooner. However, I do have one issue that occurred back to back and it was a massive let down. upsetting to say the least. I ordered a cake (which was very delicious) for my cousins birthday and they misspelled the name "Jess" with "Jeff" after I spelt it out. I let it go and understood the circumstances the workers are going though at the moment. Well, today me and my cousin picked up a pre ordered cake for another birthday just to find out they misspelled the name "lindo" and put "linda" in bright pink instead. Every time I've been here there has been a similarly long wait so I would hate to see what happens if the restaurant is actually full. You get to pick the meat(s) for your skillet, I went with I think chicken and chorizo. I was looking for a small cake for my birthday today. I went in and the staff immediately was there- super nice and friendly. When I explained that it was my first time visiting and what I was looking for they immediately showed me their cakes and explained what each was. The entire attitude of the staff was amazing- very much the epitome of a mom and pop shop that care about each customer's experience. I ended up taking home a slice of the turtle cheesecake and the caramel apple cheesecake. I haven't tried the turtle cheesecake yet, but the caramel apple cheesecake might just be the absolute best cheesecake I have ever tasted. It was beyond light and fluffy. We waited about 10 minutes on a Sunday for brunch so not bad at all. Coffee was delicious! The chicken was fried perfectly, and the red chile honey and homemade bread and butter pickles set the whole sandwich up. Went for birthday lunch. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted every though it was very busy. Our waitress cleaned a table for us and seated us promptly. Simple straight forward menu: that's a plus. Everything sounded good. However, I don't like paper menus because i don't think they're clean. They get passed around from table to table, person to person and they don't get wiped down. We ordered right away. Drinks were served quickly and then we waited and waited. Our waitress kept checking on us and kept our glasses filled, but it took over an hour to get our food. When we did get it, it was fresh and hot. I had the French Dip. Beautiful, fresh warm bread that soft, but held against the jus. The roast beef was beefy and had that perfect bite with melty Swiss. I prefer chunkier fries, but they were still delicious. They were cut shoestring style, made fresh, browned and salted just right. I guess I prefer other fries because I dip my fries in ketchup and I wind up having to use a fork to get the last bit of fries. Anyway, my daughter had the vegan burger with green chile on focaccia. You could smell the fresh roasted green chile before you take a bite. The black bean patty was hearty and beautifully complimented the heat and flavor of the chile. I had the German chocolate cake. You can tell it's made from scratch. Not too coconutty and the coconut had a fresh texture. I could taste pecan, but it doesn't hit you over the head with it. The same with the chocolate ganache and the cake. I assumed that my sister's food was good because her sandwich and cream puff thingies were gone before I could taste them. Definitely, will return, but not sure if I can be late to work again. Note: bathroom very clean, but no paper towels. A warning for guys: a cow will stare at you in the face when you go.
