Mainly came here due to limited Asian food options in the area. Service was excellent, even for a takeout, but the food was just ok. However, please note that I'm from Orange County where I have access to lots of good Thai food. Pad See Ew and Pot Stickers were decent. Thai Grill Chicken was just ok. It tasted more like teriyaki chicken than anything Thai. However, I did like the organic butterfly pea flower rice that came with the dish. It wasn't so much the taste but the light blue hue of the rice just looked very pleasant. But, ends there... I got 2 different things to try. Orange chicken bowl, and the yellow curry chicken sando. For starters, the main pic you see, is not what you get. Lol. It's not fried, or crispy, it's just a soggy-ish crust with I will say decent flavor. The fries, those were good! The orange chicken bowl was also a bust. We stopped by Infused Thai Fusion Kitchen for lunch from a recommendation from friends. It's located toward the end of a nondescript strip mall. The menu is focused on what they do best and what their customers want. On a Saturday afternoon it was pretty busy which is a good sign. The beef noodle soup and pad thai were fresh and delicious with a great balance of flavors. The cucumber salad was also very good. The simple but clean dining area was serviceable. The owner was very busy taking orders, preparing food, greeting guests, and cleaning tables. Please support this independently owned and operated businesses. I love Thai food and this food was beyond delicious! My husband and I love visiting Morro Bay and noticed there was a semi-new restaurant in town so we had to check it out. It's a pretty decently sized place, enough seating for bigger parties too. It's very clean and the owner was super friendly! We tried a little of everything and oh my, the flavor, top tier! If anything you have to try the curry roti and the beef noodle soup but honestly everything we tried was good. The roti pancake was perfectly crispy and the curry was so flavorful. The beef noodle soup was just what I needed on a cold day - the perfect bowl. The potstickers were great, the fries had the perfect crunch, and the sandwich (although messy) was also delicious and flavorful. Called in for an order. Very nice person taking it. we needed and wanted some Pad Thai to take back to the hotel, I know we had another dish and it was good. You can go to the back and get plates and plasticware and you can get cups with ice and buy canned drinks to go go. It took us a little while to get to eating it but when we did, we just tossed it together and it was delicious. That even had the lime as his tradition. We would definitely go back. I ordered stir fry chicken ($15.95) with broccoli without rice; I got a piping hot reasonable size serving with lots of sauce but without much flavor. Also ordered orange chicken($15.95) (four small pieces) which came with huge amount of rice, there was an orange but the chicken had no orange flavor or juice; very dry, no flavor. First time visiting and will absolutely be coming back! The yellow curry bowl was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 I love the touch of blue flower rice they put on all of dishes. The potatoes and carrots were cooked well and the sauce was so buttery and creamy. The chicken was super crispy, but very tender. My husband ordered the basil dish and he said it was very good but preferred the katsu chicken on my curry bowl, but that's most likely a personal preference. The egg was cooked to perfection. We were excited to see the new Infused Thai Fusion Kitchen restaurant open in the old Flavor Factory spot that has been vacant for a couple years now. We were immediately taken with the interior remodel - they had removed the large floor to ceiling wall which previously divided the kitchen/ordering line from the dining area, giving it a very modern, open-kitchen design and making the space feel much bigger. I really enjoyed being able to see all the cooking action in the kitchen and also that it was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly when we entered; it seemed like a family affair with the Mom, Dad, and a daughter working the restaurant. There were several interesting menu items, but for our 1st time, we stuck with the tried and true basics, ordering the Stir-fried Noodle w/chicken (like a pad thai), Infused Fried Rice w/chicken, and the Butterfly Flower Rice. We found all the dishes had distinct fresh flavors and the chicken was cooked perfectly in both dishes. Vegetables were also cooked well, not too firm but not overcooked, with just a slight crisp to them. A couple of staff (Dad & daughter?) alternately visited our table to check how we were enjoying our food, and they came across as personable and genuinely concerned about our satisfaction. We came in with zero expectations and were impressed to have such a good first experience with a brand new restaurant! We guessed they had prior restaurant experience as we didn't see any of the usual missed details that most new restaurants have. Even the remodeled restrooms were nice and clean. Splitting hairs, the only slightest of quibbles I might have would be that we didn't have any left-overs to enjoy the following day... slightly larger portions would've been the cherry on top. Decided to stop by spontaneously driving through morro bay. We were greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and chill. The vibes all around was great! The restaurant was very clean and the decor is nice. You order at the counter and then pick a table you want for dine in. They have a good selection on their menu, including boba tea drinks. They also have self serve fountain drinks. We ordered the curry roti, chicken tonkatsu curry, and khao soi with beef (Thai spicy). Husband got the chicken tonkatsu curry. It comes with rice so that's a plus. He said it was really good, but would prefer the rice to be on the side. I got the khao soi with beef (Thai spicy). The flavors were on point! It definitely wasn't overly sweet like the other restaurants I've tried. The spiciness was good too, especially if you're not used to spicy. So if you're not used to spicy food, don't ask for Thai spicy. The curry roti was sooo good! Not a lot of Thai restaurants around SLO county offer this on the menu so it was a definite must order. It was thin and crispy just the way it's supposed to be! The curry sauce was very good and balanced with sweetness. Overall, I'm so happy we stopped by! The plating was very beautiful! So we tried Thai Fusion again for take out. This time we ordered the "satay chicken sando" and the "infused fried rice". The rice dish was very good and plentiful, however we were disappointed with the sandwich. It had good flavor and was somewhat unique, but was expensive for its portion. The accompanying minimal fries were pretty basic Ida frozen fries. I guess I should have known better than ordering a sandwich at a Thai restaurant. Had a chicken satay sandwich, which I had high hopes for. But the chicken was dry. Barely any peanut sauce. Thick, white toast didn't take the sandwich anywhere discouraging. The diced carrots and cucumber added texture, but no flavor. Fries weren't seasoned, and were barely defrosted after being frozen before they went into the fryer. It was very bland. The sandwich would taste better on a potato bun, with more seasoning on the chicken; more peanut sauce with a hint of sweet sour sauce to line the roll. Add lettuce and tomato for additional crunch and moisture. And give the fries curry seasoning with a dipping sauce. But if they keep everything the way it is, I'm not coming back. read more
