The food is average and the service is great. Also, I did get food poisoning from this place and so did my dog. I got the Mongolian beef a while back, and I felt that it looked a little off. But I thought maybe it's just me, so I had some and I gave some of it to my pitbull. Night comes around and he was throwing up all night and I had the runs. It's very interesting that my review got erased which was posted June 1, 2025. It was gone shortly after that. Another negative review was erased from here as well. We both talked about the food being so bland and this was around the same time on a Sunday. I had orange chicken and it was so much gristle in there. I couldn't eat it. the noodles and the rice was very bland as well. Please do better. I used to come here all the time but I'm gonna give it a minute because I don't like paying $12 for food that I can't even eat. Stopped here to get some steamed/white rice to go with something I had at home in the fridge. There were 2 people in front of me. The first lady ordered about 10 combo items. Everyone in line had to wait until they got her order together to take the next person's order. Horrible. Apparently a guy had ordered the same bulk order beforehand and left. All 4 workers on the front line were tending to both bulk orders and both bulk orders ONLY! When it was finally my turn to order, the guy looked so shocked that I only wanted a small steamed rice he said "oh my I'm so sorry for your wait". By the time I left, the line was extended outside. They need a better plan for taking bulk orders. This steamed rice better be good. read more

After realizing how bad Dennys was, I wanted to give this place next door a chance. I ordered for deliver. After waiting an exponentially long time, I got my order and checked my bag immediately. They forgot an entire order of crab Rangoons! So I had to drive over there to get my second order that they messed up . We had a large and small beef fried rice and they only gave us four soy sauces which is honestly nothing! So when I got back home, I opened the beef fried rice and it looked extremely undercooked and even seemed grayed, as if it looked dead.Totally tasteless! The beef was undercooked, fatty and very inedible. The crab rangoons were more like if someone took just cream cheese and fried it. I wouldn't have fed any of it to my dog honestly. I was ecstatic at the lady whom answered my call who was able to guarantee me that they could prepare their Vegetable Fried Rice and Veggie Delight to be vegan. The Vegetable Fried Rice, was nothing short of flavorful. The Veggie Delight, custom made spicy was scrumptious and with a solid amount of heat. Since Covid many small businesses have closed and I awoke one day with the worst craving and came upon my new yummy go to! It is a hot buffet in a small strip mall on Cicero served up by pros of steaming fried rice, egg rolls, egg foo yong, all your favorites! They have huge combo plates as well for $8 and it is fast! Walk in is limited by social distancing so go in between main meal times to get in and out. It is delicious and fresh and you are protected by glass guards surroundung food servers dishing it up for you. They give you plenty of sauces and my favorite hot mustard. Ample parking..easy in and out...and for $32 I got enough food for me for a week. I love love it and have always had a great meal. If you are waiting they have great frozen fruit slushies and they are huge and delicious. Make this your new stop of order on line! I am a fan!!! read more

The food was actually really good. I didn't get any sauces nor were the boxes marked considering I got a combination rice and a shrimp fried rice. I also didn't receive my plastic utensils like I asked for in the special request form. The bourbon chicken was cooked well for the most part but lacked the juicy bourbon flavor. The sweet & sour taste however, was spot on. None of the food taste freshly prepared per say but it served its purpose. A lot of food for the price is under $9 so who can complain? I ordered from Door Dash. It took about an hour and a half to get to me. I'm thinking because of the lack of Dashers. I don't think it's the restaurant's fault , but Idk. I ordered shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice , pepper steak with green peppers , and a shrimp egg roll. I wasn't crazy about it. It was just ok. The egg foo young lacked flavor, in fact it was slightly bland. I had to add a lot of soy sauce to actually taste it. The rice barely had any shrimp and again, I had to add a lot of soy sauce to taste it. The pepper steak was decent but the green peppers were a little hard for my taste. It had more flavor than the other 2 dishes. The egg roll was blah. It tasted like sauerkraut stuffed in an egg roll wrapper. This is the second location I have tried. The bourbon chicken is overly sweet in my opinion. and the quality of the chicken is just not there for me. mushy bits and gristly bits. They give you a lot of noodles or rice. but again not up to par. it is as if they want to conserve on the ingredients. The rice is bland and lacks the color of regular fried rice. It is a buffet style place so the food does sit for a time. It is more of a place of convenience. And the prices are typical of Chinese restaurants. This is a great express Chinese place. If you want good food fast then this is where you want to go. I've been going there for about 2 years. I first discovered them at Oak Lawn's Fall on the Green festival. I love the Bourbon Chicken and the Teriaki Chicken. The Orange Chicken is also very good. It has a candy like crust on it. There are always people in there and thus the trays of food are always being replaced with super hot food. The staff is very nice and work so hard. read more

Tried 4 different entrées, their white rice, combination rice, & their egg rolls yesterday. To be honest, it was a bit more pricier than I had expected it to be. The taste was ok. Nothing great. However, the chicken was fatty, rubbery, & not at all good quality. Their breaded chicken is highly breaded. They must bread their bad pieces of chicken because that was gross. (I had the sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, & pineapple chicken) Also, the woman who served my order seemed rude. Maybe that's just her person but she could have at least said hello back when I said "hi" to her. I won't be coming here again and telling friends and family to find somewhere else to go. read more

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. The rice was ehhhh, did not eat most of it. The chicken, well... it has made a rather expedited exit, multiple times today. I've been here several times before to pick up dinner and they always provided very large portions of tasty food at great prices. Recently I ordered takeout for a large family dinner and had a wonderful experience. They helped me order the perfect amount of food to serve the family - we were all stuffed - and it didn't cost a fortune. I love their spicy Thai chicken, their beef & broccoli is always delicious and the bourbon chicken is my son's favorite. Very nice people, great portion sizes, and satisfying Chinese food. I've been eating here for years and I've always loved their food (especially their egg rolls). They used to have these rude girls working out front but I don't think they work there anymore so all the better.
