Great food. Great Service. This has become one of your favorites spot. Spicy is truly spicy but delicious. Atmosphere is small and cozy, the service has been great and pretty quick. Chef has provided a great personal experience.

My first time here was underwhelming to say the least. We came on a rainy day, they only had 1 person serving tables, waiting for over an hour for our food. And over 30 min for just waters. Decided to come back because the ramen was actually pretty great. And the older gentleman was very nice. This time to go, currently waiting for our food. It is so nice in here, and the owner just decorated for Christmas!

Sadly, I was trying to support a local Business, since I work at a school nearby. 1. It took over an hour to deliver my food, thankfully my uber eats currier was patient. 2. They did not include chopsticks, wasabi/ginger and only 2 napkins. 3. I ordered two rolls and edamame. The sushi was fishy, soggy seaweed, my so called "crispy" onion (was soggy) albacore roll. Sadly I will never order from there again. Uber eats had it as a 4.5, not sure what Yelp has it as... but it doesn't deserve more than a 1-2.

I'm a first-time visitor to this place. I had to drive from San Diego to LA for an appointment, and the second stop was this gem. I highly recommend it! Everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors and quality of the food were spot-on. And the owners are so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back! Well the service is good and the food is great but some menu prices aren't direct. It's unclear what the final price will be. The ambience is alright for people that like ramen.

Good atmosphere and manages to set itself apart from surrounding restaurants. Staff seem to enjoy working here and are patient and helpful with first timers and very knowledgeable of the menu and spot on with recommendations. Food looks and smells amazing. This restaurant definitely has what it takes to be a staple of the community.

This is my fourth time coming to this place and I always been satisfied service is a 10/10 food is always on point and I totally recommend this place!

Had such a lovely dinner at IPPA, we came in so hungry and were so satisfied after. My favorite dishes were definitely the ramen, the avocado salad and the Three Amigo roll. Definitely get some of their appetizers as they're so delicious and flavorful. Will definitely be stopping by again and highly recommend to anyone in the east LA ish area. I ordered the sashimi salad and it was delicious. The sashimi tasted fresh and tasted excellent with the sauce / vinaigrette they provided. The portion size was good and they didn't cheap out on the sashimi. We ordered the food to go and a good portion of the vinaigrette spilled all over the bag so I would recommend better to go packaging. read more

Glad we finally have a great sushi/ramen place close by! I ordered the spicy pork belly ramen for take out & it was delicious! The soup base was so flavorful I almost drank it all before finishing the noodles themselves. The noodles were the perfect tenderness. Pork belly cooked throughly. The egg was hard boiled. The ramen was filling. Plan to order again. I will recommend this place to friends & fam. Need to head back to try the sushi next! read more

It has been one of the worst sushi i've tried. I ordered the baked scallop roll and the spicy salmon roll. they did not send any soy sauce, ginger or wasabi with my order. Like really? Those are the basics of sushi! the scallops were minced! As seen on my finger tip. I usually go to Little Tokyo for sushi, and i had never been served minced scallops. The spicy crab roll had thinly sliced salmon on the outer part. Again, very lil amount of salmon. My rolls were basically fake crab with a hint of scallops and salmon. They also didn't send any napkins. Definitely not worth my $62 (del fee and tip) . I don't recommend. They failed in every category. read more

3 stars for the ramen! Very tasty, highly recommend the spicy chicken, but the rolls are more rice than anything, quality of fish is KIND OF fresh. We ordered 3 rolls and 1 ramen and it came out to $70, definitely not worth it & don't get me started when asked for a side of spicy mayo, this was it. One small dollop of wasabi, expected but only two small pieces of ginger. Disappointed! This seems like a half ass type of place read more

The ramen wasn't the best. The egg wasn't marinated or seasoned. The pork was breaded/fried not seared and wasn't that flavorful. It wasn't like the ramen we were accustomed to. Considering the mediocrity, the price was a bit high. read more

The tonkatau wasn't overly heavy but just enough to not be bland either which was perfect for my taste Interior was clean and service was awesome. We came on a Sunday early afternoon so we didn't have to wait. Parking is unfortunately just street parking but there's also a lot nearby if you're willing to pay. During the pandemic, I loved ordering their ramen kit and making our own tuskemen. However, I have to say the quality of the food from this location seems to be poorer. I ordered the spicy pork tsukemen. The noodles were a bit soft that I think they were overcooked for a few seconds longer. It didn't have the chewy bouncy texture that I was expecting. The broth seemed to be missing a few toppings that was promised in the menu, there was no green onion, chopped chashu and menma. Overall I enjoyed the ramen, and it was still good, but just not as good as I remembered. The service was just okay as well. I did think the waitress tried her best, but she was the only one person working during Sunday lunchtime. It was very hard to get her attention. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed with this experience. I'm not sure if I'm going to come back.

I would say the Enchiladas Tres Moles was my favorite dish we picked. My only problem with that dish was that I wanted more. The plate they served it on made the 3 Enchiladas look small. Customer service was great. Food was great. The interior/exterior was really nice. If you have dogs the patio section in the back is where you'll want to eat from. Great experience. I feel bad about this review, maybe this place is a victim of its former reputation, and I was expecting very good Mexican food and all I got was OK Mexican food. Also, for a true Mexican spot, you need to have café Mexicano, with canelita and the waiter told me they didn't have any. How can this be? I do not approve. Maybe if you are white or non-Mexican or a fake Mexican, I think you would have a different opinion of this place, you might think is great, just like El Torito is. Am I confusing this place with some other restaurant because the place I heard of was in Bell and the cooks/chefs were this renowned chefs and I don't think that's the case here or now. For sure, this place is not bad and I don't think you will get bad food, it was just underwhelming.

One downside of it all was he had the heat to high for us the first round and it made our food cook way too fast and another guy kept rushing us for more rounds, felt like a race considering I was still eating..I know it's a 2 hour seat limit but I didn't appreciate being rushed to order...it wasn't busy so I don't know what the rush was. The second round was better heat was lower and was able to enjoy the pork bulgogi much better with out having to stack it on a plate and it get cold..could eat straight off the grill nice and crispy Over all the experience was great. The cheese corn was a bigger portion than expected, which I loved! Will definitely come back with my parents!

What keeps me from frequenting more and rating is their service. I expect to feel welcome at the least and not a burden. It's a full circle deal for me or nothing. The servers so far have been inattentive, stone cold facial expressions where it makes me feel like I'm imposing. It's a small cramped place that can put some pressure on the hostesses but every time regardless of the demand has been discouraging enough not to come back for some time.

We came for breakfast and I love that they open earlier than most places in the area. As we walked in we were greeted by a super friendly waitress whom welcomed us and made us feel right at home. I ordered Huevos Rancheros and my wife ordered chilaquiles. The presentation was phenomenal. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this delicious looking meal. Once I did, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. My order came with two eggs on a tostada with a very tasty sauce all over them, it included beans and some very tasty potatoes. The final touch was a delicious quesadilla with a corn tortilla folded in half. It reminded me of, "El Tacazo". Excellent Mexican breakfast. The place itself was very clean and nicely decorated. I just tried this spot and overall the food was really good! The flavors were on point and everything tasted fresh and well made. You can tell they put effort into their dishes. The only downside is that the place is pretty small, so getting a table was a bit difficult and there was a wait. Once we ordered, it took about an hour for the food to come out. It was worth it, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. I also ordered the strawberry lemonade, which was a little too sweet for my taste. Stopped by to pick up some dinner and was so disappointed when I got home. The bento box had the driest chicken was not edible the tempura was cold and stale. Also ordered some sushi that tasted like old finish it looked discolored. Service was ok so I tipped but the food was bad spent way to much for food I had to end up throwing away, feel horrible that I had to do that but the was note edible. I would personally recommend the spicy pork belly ramen really well seasoned and aesthetically looking. The ambience is also really nice each has its own booth for your favorite theme or anime and is definitely worth looking around. My family and I decided to try this spot because we've been wanting to try a new restaurant and oh my god we are in love!!! We got the crispy tuna rice, a few different rolls, and I got the tonkatsu ramen. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is incredible as well. We got the Gojo special deal where you can choose 3 rolls! Best bang for your buck for a party of 2. Tried the Superman burrito, salmon tempura roll, and baked hot spicy lobster roll!
