We sat down and waited for them to finish the Togo orders, once they were done the waitress went to another table when we had been there before the other patrons. It saddens me when I give a place with very few reviews a chance and it disappoints. I will mention the service was great (reason for the two stars) and the interior decor was nice. Definitely a place for a quick lunch break if the food had been up to par. I ordered a combo with spicy pork ramen and California roll. The ramen broth and pork lacked any kind of flavor and the vegetables tasted less than fresh. The roll meat tasted like imitation and I sent it back. We are from Denver, co staying at the bicycle hotel and casino near by. We found this place when looking for some sushi/ramen for dinner. We came in and it was decently busy. We always take that as a good sign! They only had one waitress, a young girl, who you can tell was new and trying her best. We ordered and just enjoyed our night. The food came in a decent amount of time, especially for being as busy as it was getting. We ordered ramen and sushi and were not disappointed. The spicy chicken ramen was heavenly! The flavors the dish had worked so well together but also have distinct Flavors of ramen. The sushi roll tasted extremely fresh and also had great flavors. Both the owners made a point to come talk to us and apologize for the wait. They were both so nice and sweet. She even came up at the end and gave us a couple little dessert candies. I've been here 3 times now. I feel like I've been here enough times to give this place a very fair rating. There's reasons as to why i gave it a 4 star rating and not a 5. Before we talk about the good stuff, let's talk about the ugly bits. I have a few complaints. First off I do believe is overpriced when compared to other places I've visited before. My wife and I order ramen and sushi and pay $64 (no drinks). Other places I pay about $48 including drinks, so huge difference. Also the chairs are not the most comfortable and they aren't too friendly for bigger people, so keep an eye out for that. The place itself is very hot, I don't think there's AC or any kind of fans going on, it's just real hot in there. I also don't like the poor selection of drinks, and they don't offer refills as the drinks are small cans, so be mindful of that. Now that all the ugly stuff is out of the way here's what I love about this place. The service is pretty fast, the food is seriously amazing! The ramen and the sushi rolls are all delicious and fresh. I also very much love that the chef/owner of the establishment always comes out to ask if you are liking the food. The servers are very friendly and attentive which is always a plus. Sometimes if a restaurant has all these little things.... Paying the extra isn't much of a bother after all. read more

It's great to see another ramen/sushi spot around this area, since there don't seem to be many nearby. After trying some items, I find that it could be better. Rainbow roll: I placed an order for pick up. I carried it out carefully to my car. I opened it to check it and the rainbow roll was scattered. The picture here is after I pieced it together when I got home. The roll was of lower quality compared to other similarly priced restaurants. It was skimpy on the avocado, fishy, and strangely chewy. Miso soup: The miso soup is hard to mess up but somehow this managed to really disappoint. They apparently don't have the proper packaging for miso, so they gave it in the pictured container, which is easy to spill from. There was absolutely no seaweed or tofu. Just miso liquid. Fried calamari: this was the best item but still pricy. You can get a whole plate for a similar price elsewhere. Here, you only get 6 pieces. Would not return for rolls. read more

I was craving ramen but honestly it wasn't that great. I ordered the spicy pork belly ramen. The portions are huge which I loved. But the actual pork was weird... it was in between sweet, and charky. The flavor was off to me though. Tasted like it had been frozen and they just fried it. The California roll was also kind off. Didn't have much flavor and the strawberry lemonade was basically a very artificial flavored lemonade. Not my favorite experience :((( read more

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt considering the bad reviews but I should've believed it. The ramen was disgusting and basically inedible. I finished after three bites because I just couldn't do it, it was so bad. Their California rolls came with the combo I ordered and like someone else mentioned, it was missing avocado. The California rolls were okay I guess? Still, I wouldn't eat it again. They noodles resembled cup noodles ramen which if you've had authentic ramen, you would know it shouldn't even remotely look like that. I would've been better OFF eating cup noodles that's just how bad it was. It was weird and milky flavored. The pork was bland and basically all fat with maybe half an inch of actual meat. These aren't worth it. They're $19-$23 each plate with 8 rolls in each plate. I even had their yakisoba. Even that was dry and nasty. Their miso soup is watered down and barely tastes like miso soup.
