They accepted my appointment the same day (called to schedule a couple hours beforehand) and took me in right before closing. I was even running a little late (rush hour) and they were so kind about it. They even helped me figure out parking and told me where the best spots were. Also, I brought my therapy dog with me and they were completely fine with it, which I really appreciated. For my pedicure, her mom took care of me and she was so gentle, especially with a toe hangnail that had been bothering me. She handled it carefully and made sure I wasn't in pain. It felt like actual care because she kept checking in with me without trying to get rid of all the cuticles willy nilly without consideration for breaking skin or cutting me at some other places i've been to, not just rushing through a service. After my toes, Mia got started on my Gel X set and had me in and out of the chair in about an hour, which is kind of insane for the work she produced. I showed her my inspo photos and she put together such a cute design, but also kept checking in with me throughout to make sure I liked everything. I never felt rushed or ignored. The pricing is very fair and you can tell Mia is really dedicated to her craft and knowledgeable about what she's doing. I'm so happy I found a nail tech I can go to whenever I'm back visiting the Bay. I paid $140 total ($90 base, $10 removal, $20 chrome, $20 tip) for a set that didn't even last through a shower plus a side of gaslighting. The day after my appointment, the chrome literally disappeared from my right hand. When I messaged Anita, her response was that this 'never happens' to her clients. I went in for a fix the following day, pointed out that the other hand was also starting to peel, and was told it 'wasn't happening.' Not only did she dismiss my concerns during the fix, but the peeling got significantly worse the moment I got home and washed my hands. When I sent videos of the new peeling, she sent me a screenshot of an article on 'how to fix chrome' instead of taking accountability for the application, she blamed me by accusing me of filing my own nails or using chemicals. It's been one week since the "fix" and 7 out of 10 nails are peeling chrome. She refunded the $50 chrome fee but kept the rest, claiming the 'foundation' was perfect. As you can see in the photos, the filing is also uneven. Save your time and money. Between the technical failure and the gaslighting of being told I wasn't seeing what I was clearly seeing, it's not worth it. Dismissive tech who prioritizes her ego over her clients' results.

The nail sets can last for 4-5 weeks and I have never had a nail chip, break or peel. My nails are the healthiest they have ever been and I love love love getting my nails done here. The service is incredible and the technicians are so kind as well as talented! Lily usually does my nails and she is so lovely to work with. Vincy owns the salon and does incredible work herself. These women are artists, truly! I've brought my friends, family, and boyfriend here and I'll continue to do so as long as I live in this city (which will be a long time). If you're looking for a consistent and cozy nail spot - this is it.
