Honestly, a friend shared their business contact with me, I texted NMS and got a flat rate quote with no insurance and appointment date and time -- it felt like it was too good to be true and I was a bit skeptical...but after seeing how they work, bubble wrapped all of my big furniture, placed on industrial dollies, handled everything with care up and down a flight of stairs of both units, ASKED if I wanted my huge couch assembled, AND even used a leaf blower to clean up the entire front yard of my apartment and my neighbor's... INSANE. And Jimmy and Jon even shared that they do two moves a day...every day, for 48 states.... Madness! I don't think I could ever hire anyone else for the quality of work, reasonable working price, care and swift work....HIGHLY recommend.

Then we scheduled the move and they arrived on time and were very quick and efficient. We needed to move our apartment to another apartment in the same building. I was impressed how they knew exactly how to dismantle and reassemble our bed frame and even showed us how our bed frame was not originally installed correctly and he installed it the correct way for us. Very thankful the mattress now is much more comfortable :)

Granted I packed the smaller items to make the move faster out of a 2 bedroom corner unit apartment. We even tagged on a Piano for a reasonable rate picked up at a separate location. I hired EDI to move a small one bedroom apartment for today. I told them I needed 4 wardrobe…read moreboxes. They confirmed. But they showed up without the wardrobe boxes. I asked them to either bring wardrobe boxes to finish the move or to provide a small discount. The owner, George, refused. He said he had already given me a discount, which was not true. He then said that I either have to pay full price or he would instruct his guys to unload the truck and send his guys home. So they unloaded the truck and now I have to find a replacement. The workers were very nice and polite. I even tipped them, but I would never recommend George or EDI. In response to George's comment: First, I would appreciate it if you would edit your post and remove my city. It's not appropriate to post where I live. Second, your truck did not have racks inside. Your workers only offered two options: (1) lay my clothing down inside a cardboard box, or (2) to rig a rope from one end of the truck to the next and let my clothing hang on the rope. Nobody mentioned a speed pack, and I don't know what that is. Third, I did not insist on a discount. My first request was that you have somebody drive down and deliver the wardrobe boxes, or at least the missing pieces. You refused. I then asked for a small discount because it was going to take time and money in order for me to finish moving the rest of the items that were supposed to go inside the wardrobe boxes. Finally, it's misleading to claim that you offered me a discounted price. $125 was never mentioned. It's not listed on your website and it's not mentioned in your craigslist ad. Your first and only quote was $110.

Their competitive rates were explained in a straightforward fashion with no surprises and/or hidden fees. In both moves Konstantin was easily accessible and detail oriented in his explanations about the process, expectations as to the scope of their services, and even provided tips for us to assist in our moves. Their team was top notch akin to watching a Formula one/NASCAR pit crew perform complex repairs during a race as they packed and unpacked items. However, they maintained a respect for all of our items, even the more fragile ones and thus balancing skill and speed all at once. I am truly grateful to Konstantin and the Orange Coast team as they alleviated a monumental amount of stress that moving typically creates. Only one bedroom had a bed, and the second bedroom just had a futon, so that seemed like a reasonable estimate. When the movers arrived, one of them worked at a normal pace, but the other moved incredibly slowly. What should have been a half-day move turned into a 13-hour job, and I was billed for every hour. To be fair, they did hit some traffic on the drive to the next city, but the final bill still ended up being more than double what the owner had led me to expect. If you're considering hiring this company, I strongly recommend getting a fixed, upfront price instead of paying by the hour. Based on my experience, the crew worked very slowly, took frequent breaks, and even went to lunch while still on the clock. Paying by the hour ended up costing far more than it should have.

We all dislike moving but when I ran across Max and Port Flex he told me he guaranteed this would be a good experience and he was spot on. The team (Mark & Mike) showed up on time and hit the ground running. They moved quickly and with purpose. I was moving my two bedroom condo with complete garage gym (very heavy stuff) to a new home. They were complete with a 26' foot truck in 2 1/2 hours. They drove straight to new place and were moving so quickly it amazed me. Let me add my daughter and her family were moving in also with a 20' truck and they unloaded theirs too. They did all this work without damaging any property or furniture. Max charges by the hour no hidden fees and when I seen the total for move I was shocked. It was almost half of what I paid in the past.
