Everything is cooked from scratch, not pre-packaged sauces like so many other Thai places. The flavors are clean, authentic, and incredibly consistent. Their son Matthew runs operations and is always friendly and accommodating. Orders are ready quickly, spice levels are made exactly how you want them, and the quality never slips. The food is easily on par with Atlanta's five-star mid- to high-end Thai restaurants, but at a fraction of the price. The only downside is that there's no seated dining right now, which we miss (takeout only right now) but it's still our go-to Thai spot every time.

I did feel that they needed some overhead music to fill the space. In addition to the Beef Pad See Ew, which also came with a Spring Roll, I also ordered this Thai Salad. The Thai Salad was HUGE...a meal in itself. I liked the sauce, and it was quite good. I did wish it had some carrots in them...instead of tomatoes, for one. I just don't feel tomatoes go well with Thai sauces. Then the much anticipated Pad See Ew. While I thought the flavor was solid, I didn't like the big, chunky beef. It was way too chunky, and hard to eat. I like the meats in these dishes to be more thinly sliced, smaller the better. Also, while they used the bigger noodles, it wasn't the super-wide noodles I'm used to. Overall, I really liked the restaurant...but a bit disappointed with the Pad See Ew. Still, I felt they deserved 4 stars for their generosity (huge portions!), all of their efforts.

However, it should've come with two portions of dipping sauce (one barely cut it). I should've asked for both peanut sauce and hoisin sauce. I can't speak on ambiance or service since we got takeout, but I'd love to come in and experience it for myself. Prices seem good but I also feel based on my experience, that it's misleading! A bowl of soup and an appetizer for under $15 (my work lunch limit) is pretty good especially when you compare to other places around town. However, my items were kind of just "fluff." In other words, I paid for a roll of mostly lettuce (cheap) and a bowl of mostly broth (also inexpensive). Despite my harsh critique, I feel it must've been an off day or something. We had to ask for pad Thai sauce on the side to mix in. After adding the sauce, it tasted just right! Aside from the food, the service was great tonight.
