Came after a hot beach day and decided on acai bowls: - bear bowl - dragon bowl Beautiful and clean place with great options, would come here again!

After a Sculpt class at CorePower Yoga, a few friends and I stopped by Island Bodega for a post-workout treat, and it was the perfect choice. I ordered the Lili Bowl, and it hit the spot! The bowl was packed with fresh kiwi, bananas, strawberries, and goji berries over a creamy base, then topped with crunchy granola, nut butter, honey, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It was fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling too heavy--exactly what I was craving after class. It was such a fun way to cool down and catch up with friends over something healthy and delicious. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything tasted fresh. If you're looking for a great post-workout meal or just a refreshing, healthy treat, I definitely recommend the Lili Bowl at Island Bodega. I'll be coming back to try more of their menu!

Tuesdays 3-6pm use code Aloha in the app for a $6 small custom! They make it so quick and packed!! Small is enough to fill you up and satisfy that Açaí bowl craving! I love their blue island and the coconut cream.

great customer service and very delicious açaí where i had to bring my sister to try it.

Came on a rainy day (so not as crowded) and was greeted by 2 staff members who were pleasant and helpful! Was able to sample all the base flavors and my favorite was the Pitaya, then Blue Island, then the acai base. Toppings are crunchy and there are plenty of seating. The biggest thing was that you get all of these healthy options for a great price! I was so full from just a small and it was $11!!! Be wary though that the bases melt pretty fast, so you may have to devour your bowl ASAP! Would definitely come back!

A great acai spot with endless options! I chose an acai and passionfruit base with my favorite toppings. Seating available inside with a modern feel. The staff here are always so nice as to well.

Always love hitting this spot up when I'm craving an açaí bowl. The staff are always amazing and make the bowls exactly how I want it. The fruit and açaí are always top notch and great quality!

The açaí bowl from Island Bodega was so good! Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the toppings added the perfect crunch. The portion was generous, and it was a refreshing, delicious treat. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're craving a good açaí bowl!

My friend and I stopped by Island Bodega after our Sculpting class at CorePower Yoga, and we had such a great experience! She tried the Lili Bowl and absolutely loved it. The bowl was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect meal after a good workout. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and how everything tasted so fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It was the perfect place to refuel, unwind, and enjoy some quality time together. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Fruits were sweet and tasted fresh. They had a good amount of options for toppings and base etc. Price is normal and the for helping us was nice and patient. Ambiance is peaceful. I'd return again!

Came in today after work with my daughter craving a fresh treat. I ordered the mad mocha and my daughter ordered blue island, they were very delicious, EXCEPT my daughter did say the banana was pretty warm instead of cold which was odd. Other than that, they were delicious and well made. The service was friendly and helpful and the ambience was very chill and mellow, pop playing in the background with a lot of seating.

The worker was very nice in explaining the menu and suggesting the signature bowls!! You can create your own bowl as well. The area was very clean and spacy!

Island Bodega recently opened next to Einstein Bagels taking over the former Starbucks location. They specializes in customizable bowls made with organic, fresh ingredients with NINE different bowl bases, various toppings (you can get up to 18!!!), nut butters, fruits, four granolas blends, powders, aaaaand chia puddings. Everything tastes fresh and is delicious! They have an app for quick pickup with a loyalty program. Bonus perk...they are currently having a BOGO promotion. They are conveniently located on the right side of the street a few blocks before the freeway. Check them out and support small businesses. They also have coffee and match drinks.

IYKYK, if a place makes an earl grey matcha right, it is so heavenly good! Als that's what I got and my friend got something like a Yuzu matcha refresher. My Earl Grey Matcha came out with a thick cold foam on top with some lavender topping.. hmm... First sip, all I tasted was the thick cold foam on top and the lavender.. which was disappointing. When I ordered it, I asked the barista if their EGM means they use EG syrup, and she said yes, didn't mention that they actually put coal foam on top, which, I'm not a big fan. The EG flavor cold foam was pretty thick with vanilla flavor also, then the lavender on top, makes it very creamy and flowery and since I did not drink it with a straw, I mixed my drink, which is something you should do anyway, which, made my matcha wayyy too milky. I did not like that. I got my matcha with oatmilk and the dairy cold foam made it super milky, overall, I did not enjoy it that much. I'm a matcha lover and the cold foam and vanilla and lavender masked all the matcha taste and made it into such a thick milk based flavored tea drink.. not a fan. My friend's Yuzu matcha refresher though was very refreshing, but it was too sour for both of our taste. The more we drank it, the more confused our brain got... Is it a lemonade? is it Yuzu-nade? It was not really matcha-nade... Overall, it was so so. Maybe our fault was that we did not order coffee, since the name implies lounging with coffee.. Maybe next time. But since its very out of my way, I prob won't make the effort to just go here for their drinks only.. only if I'm already in the area!

They've been consistently amazing ever since they opened, and somehow they've only gotten better over time. I honestly enjoy just about every drink on their menu, especially their seasonal specials. My all-time favorite has to be their 2026 Spring Earl Grey Matcha. I was getting it almost every week, and I was genuinely sad when they switched over to their summer menu. Thankfully, they kept the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha, because wow... what a flavor explosion. It's easily one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had, and my friend and I keep coming back just for it. I know it sounds a little adventurous, because it did to me, but when I tried it, it genuinely changed my life (kidding). If mango isn't your thing, I highly recommend either the Double Matcha or the Banana Matcha. The Double Matcha is perfect if you love a strong matcha flavor; you can really taste the quality of the matcha they use. As for the Banana Matcha, I normally don't gravitate toward banana drinks, but SIP completely changed my mind. They use what tastes like a banana pudding instead of artificial banana flavoring, and it blends so smoothly with the matcha that every sip feels balanced and indulgent. The café itself is just as charming as the drinks. The wood paneling gives the space a cozy, retro vibe that makes you want to stay a while, and the staff is always incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming.

The space is super cute with such a fun, cozy vibe, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I especially loved the red gingham decor it gives the whole place the cutest little picnic feel There are a few chairs where you can sit, sip, and chat, but no tables, so I wouldn't really consider this a spot to bring your laptop and work. Now the MATCHA I looooved their matcha with the Earl Grey foam top. OMG... it was phenomenal!! The matcha was earthy, umami, and so well balanced, and the hint of Earl Grey in the foam complemented it perfectly without overpowering the matcha. Such a good combination! I will 100% be coming back for this one!

Even right at the 7:00 a.m. opening, the selection is only about 25% full, and they consistently run out of the best items by noon. Management & Service Decline There has been a noticeable shift in management over the last 6 to 9 months. It feels like leadership is focused entirely on "running lean" rather than prioritizing customer service, variety, and satisfaction. Consequently, the restaurant is rarely as full as it used to be, and overall business has visibly dropped off. Additionally, the dining area could use better attention, as the tables are not always clean. Drive-Thru & Morning Operations Attempting to visit during the morning commute has become consistently frustrating due to a rotating list of operational issues: Glitchy and problematic performance with the new app. Cones blocking the drive-thru lanes without clear reason. Doors failing to open on time, remaining locked past opening time of 7:00 a.m. Recommendation: To better serve commuting customers, management should consider moving the opening time to 6:30 a.m.--and crucially, ensure that operations actually begin on time. Summary Verdict This location used to offer great service and fully stocked cases. It has immense potential to be busy all the time, but management needs to shift its focus away from extreme cost-cutting and back toward building the business and taking care of its customers. I've spoken to several of the employees over the last few weeks and I'm hearing that they keep hearing this from their customer base. Hopefully someone in management will see this and bump things up a notch.
