The best part about this place is definitely the view. You're literally on top of the water. It's perfect for a nice afternoon of drinks or on a cool night for dinner. It has that vibe of "dive bar" meets "roadside shack" and it works for them really well. The BBQ pulled pork was terrific as well as any of the fish sandwiches. It's a prefect spot for lunch mid-way between Miami and Key West. Service is a little slow and 'un-interested", but adequate for a one hour meal. read more

My husband and I were driving through and stopped. Ate on the beach, food was excellent but the service sucked. Asked for water three times, never got it. My husband asked for another drink.... Never got it. Take your chances but good luck.... Maybe don't eat outside. read more

This is my favorite little place in the Keys! I love sitting by the water, the food is great and the ambiance is just "Keys" to me. Today our party had the fish sandwich (one fried, one blackened, both tasty!), the Cuban sandwich (well executed) and the shaved ribeye (Philly cheese steak) also much appreciated. Brought the boat down for lunch and had ana amazing meal with live music to compliment! Tuna nachos were outstanding! And the blue cheese fondu was amazing. Would recommend going with all appetizers and come on the weekend to enjoy the live music. Decent place to dock but come early. read more

This restaurant has a lovely deck on the bay. We were a party of two and had grilled mahi-mahi, caesar salad, and the house organic greens salad. Both salads were delicious. One of us enjoyed the mahi but the other thought it wasn't firm enough. The service was good. The key lime pie was excellent - not too sweet and with wonderful little bits of zest in it. The food was ok, service is friendly and helpful and it is on the water. I wasn't too thrilled with the calamari but the scallops we good and I did take a key lime pie home! =) Very good! Not too sweet not too tart and the crust was just right. Also, it comes out cheaper to buy the whole pie for $16 than a slice for $6 because you will definitely want more than just one slice. read more

We were seated at about 7. Sat for nearly 10 minutes without being greeted by a server and the place was nearly empty. We got up and left.

Stopped here for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon with three others. Nice place with waterfront seating where you can bring your pet and come by car or boat. Kind of pricey but normal for the Keys. Had a keyboard player singing Island music. Two of us ordered the blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich served with tropical sauce, lettuce, red onion & pickle ( $15 ). One order French fries ( $4 ). Both fish pieces were warm, but not hot like they should have been. A nice piece of fish with good flavor that was larger than the medium size bun that came with it. I would prefer a larger bun that fit the fish. One ordered the organic spring mix served with feta cheese and candied pecans with lite raspberry vinaigrette dressing ( $ 10 ) and added Ahi Tuna which was an additional $12 . A nice plate that was very good. One ordered the Island Grill Seafood Pasta ( sautéed shrimp, scallops & Mahi served over angel hair pasta with Alfredo sauce and garlic bread ). $ 24.. Also very good and cooked just right. I thought the quantity of food was small for the price. Our server was very good and the food came out quickly as they were not super busy. They have an inside bar, open air inside seating and an outdoor, covered seating area kind of in the back next to the water, also with a bar. Loved sitting by the water and watching everyone on their boats. It was very relaxing. The music was great. They had a DJ playing some awesome island music. I thought I was in the Caribbean. Tuna Nacho's are amazing! Very fresh and tuna just melts. With a group of five the only thing we weren't just like wow food wise was the fish tacos. Maui Reuben very good! Lobster roll just melted. Fried hog fish sandwich nice and flaky. read more

Went there for lunch today. Me and my significant other shared shrimp rolls which were delicious, just wished the tails of the shrimp were off. We sat by the beach and it was very hot today so just wished there was umbrellas as there wasn't much options in the shade. For lunch he had a steak sandwich which had a lot of fat on the steak and the French fries tasted like fish from the oil. For us, we don't like fish so this was a turn off. Setting is great but the food is average at best. Those flash fried tuna rolls were tasty but there was too much mushy rice involved which took over the tuna. Crab cakes were a bit fishy. And the Ceasar salad was wilted. Meh..... read more

The atmosphere here is great. Come by boat, car or motorcycle. Thirsty Thursday are a good excuse to party with friends without having to wait for the weekend. My fiancee says they have the best Cheese Steak sandwich around. I cannot get past the seared Ahi Tuna w/ seaweed salad and their fresh oysters...they are out of this world!!!! read more

My wife and I ate lunch here, a very casual waterfront establishment. The back beach area is a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery of the keys. The food was just average. I had the mahi reuben, the fish was dry (amazingly, because mahi is never dry), my wife had the jerk chicke, very moist and flavorful. Atmosphere would get a 5, food gets the 3 star. read more

Don't let appearances fool you -- I had this place pegged as tourist-tacky due to its signage but came here from the yelp reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! We actually came here twice during our trip and I (unashamedly) got the guava ribs both times. Good drinks, friendly service, and awesome location on the water. read more

Ate here for dinner last night and thought the food was only so-so. The conch fritters were good to start but the special lobster and crab bisque was way too salty and could've used more chunks of meat in it. For dinner I got the wasibi crusted snapper, which was a little too sweet for my taste with not enough spice! I should've went with my gut and just have the fish sandwich, which you couldn't possibly go wrong with. Oh also tried the famous key lime pie which was overly sweet with not much key lime tart. Not a bad place. We sat on the beach. Food and drinks were good. Had the teriyaki tuna steak sandwich which was really good. Wife had lobster roll which looked delicious but she mention lacked maybe some garlic. Kids had the typical. Kids drinks were not included with meal which made it pricier that normal and our food was maybe $2 too much but I guess it's the keys so it is what it is. I would eat here again read more
