I forgot how much I love Italia Pizza. Anybody who knows me knows that I love eggplant on my pizza and this is where Italia excels. It's simply out of this world. The eggplant is breaded to perfection, cheese is plentiful and high-quality and sauce has a slight sweetness to it. Crust is crispy on the outside has what I believe are sesame seeds all around the edges which just adds to the gloriousness of this pizza. What we tried for the first time tonight was the margarita pizza pie, half meatball and half eggplant. Simply amazing. read more

Amazing local pizzeria that serves classic new york style thin crust pizza. I come here often and they just do something differently with their crust and it is delicious. They have online ordering but I usually just order over the phone since it saves on service fees on some of the ordering platforms. In addition to pizza they have classic pizzeria sides like garlic knots,pasta, and mozzarella sticks. They have a few indoor tables and their service is always done with a smile. read more

The good - The white slice was perfect! The bad - regular slice was horrible. Way too saucy and wayyyyyy undercooked. I asked the counter guy for a fresh slice because the ones in the display honestly looked old and dry. He pulls a slice from underneath that didn't look any better. The cheese was barely melted. Horrible slice. Took just one bite and threw the other regular slice out. The great - easily the best sausage roll I ever had! Plenty of sausage inside with onions. The crust was award winning! My go-to local pizzeria. I've been brought up on this my entire life. 10/10 would recommend but not anymore. I'm gonna tell you how the food is but ALSO the service. I always just get the plain large pie. The chocolate mousse is so smooth, it almost tasted like ice cream cake. The potato croquette was actually better than potato croquettes from a higher end restaraunt like Koku Ramen. The outside was breaded and obviously tasted like the outside of a mozzarella stick. The inside was not plain potato flavor, it had bits of a veggie piece inside to make it more flavorful. Spot on margarita pizza. It's hard to find good margarita pizzas in the local area. Delivery service: 0. My dog was barking at the delivery man and I checked the camera afterwards. The delivery man THREATENS MY DOG AND THEN dead picked up some soil from my plants and threw it in my dog's direction. Wtf???? I love some great food and all but that wasn't it. And how SANITARY is it to pick up some soil, throw it, then continue to touch the pizza box afterwards esp DURING A WHOLE PANDEMIC. Come on now... Anyways, that's why a perfect 5 went down to a 3. I made a complaint to the restaraunt and there was no disciplinary action to the deliveryman. Another staff apologized in that delivery man's place. read more

We visited Italia Pizza on Kings Highway on a chilly afternoon in January 2024. It was one of those days where the cold goes through you. I ordered a bowl of pasta fazool to warm me up. Sitting in a booth in fixed distance to a formica covered table I was brought a bowl described by the staff as pasta fagioli. Who is to argue? It was amazing. The soup was scalding hot and accompanied by a basket of bread and butter. It hit the spot. We also ordered an arancino (singular, rice ball) and 2 slices of eggplant pizza. Fantastic! The place had a lot of take-away business but might have seen more in-store dining if they advertised their heart-warming soups. A lovely find on Kings Highway. read more

I ordered beef patty, chicken pizza and a tomato slice. I asked to add cheese to the beef patty and they forgot even though they charged me. It was too late to go back. The chicken slice was bad. The chicken pieces were very dry and the tomato slice was subpar and flavorless. Very disappointed. I still like their plain slices though and I thought I should try something new. read more

This restaurant has been around for 40 years for good reason. We had Brooklyn pizza, at its best. Our pizza had a good blend of oil, cheese, sauce and a nice char because we ordered it well done and it came to us perfectly. An 18 inch pizza was only $14. The crust had a good taste. The cheese stayed on the slice, as it should. Sauce had a good taste. There was no air conditioning. The day was mild but it was a little stuffy inside. The location is convenient on a busy corner. Years ago, my family said this place had some really good pizza. I recall I didn't care for it and that was that. Fast forward years later, I decided to give the place another chance because quite frankly, I do not remember how good/bad was the food so I ordered a pie: half plain, half sausage. Boy, was it a letdown. First off, they were skimpy on the sausage, as in they had enough to spread around for 1.5 slices of pizza and used that amount for half a pizza pie. Secondly, the pizza was floppy; I'm not a fan of burnt pizza but holy cow, this pizza had no hold and the cheese will slide off your slice if you don't fold it. And finally, there's cornmeal dusted all under the pizza and along the crust, which is a nice crunch for some, but a turnoff for me; I don't need the texture and taste of cornmeal in my pizza. Bonus what the hell moment: menu said a large round would be $15 but the pie came up to be $19; there's no indication of how much is for topping but $4 more for half a pie's scarcely there sausage is by no means worth the extra $4. Nope, this place is a big nope for me. I have better places for pizza around the area so the pie from today is just a lesson that if I do not remember it being good, then don't bother. read more

I haven't been here in a while, but I always came here when I was in high school. The slices are always delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is nice (and not in-your-face). You could order first, eat as many slices as you care, sit with a friend for hours, and then just pay before you leave. I don't know many places that trust their customers like that anymore. This is such a great example of how Brooklyn pizzerias are and should be - no frills, just great pizza.
