fresh tomato pie (tomato, garlic, mozz - no sauce)

There is no shortage of pizzerias in White Plains, and if for some reason you can't find one within eyesight while downtown you'll find an Italian restaurant that serves pizza. I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to pizza in Westchester, I've tried several spots in White Plains to figure out what's good. Italian Pavilion was a major blind spot for me, so since we had multiple events to celebrate at work, I decided to order pizza from here to mark the occasions. I have passed Italian Pavilion countless times, it's on one of my walking routes and its old school aesthetic always catches my eye. It doesn't have a traditional pizzeria layout - almost being shaped like a horizontal rectangle that's curved inward. There are mostly light wood tones throughout with retro posters, a vintage menu board, and a touch of neon; I really like the vibe. The menu has typical pizzeria offerings - traditional pies with options to add toppings, specialty pies, rolls, and calzones. They also have some traditional Italian dishes and a catering menu. There were several of us so I decided to order two pies and a few rolls and calzones. I ordered a plain cheese to serve as a base, and also their fresh tomato which contained tomato slices, mozzarella and garlic with no sauce. The pies were pretty good - the plain cheese was solid but nothing outstanding; I liked the fresh tomato more. Crusts were good on both, but I was looking for more flavor in the plain cheese. The rolls and calzones were okay - they were generously filled but again I was looking for more flavor. Overall, Italian Pavilion is a solid pizzeria in White Plains. While it is not the best pizza I've had in Westchester, it's not the worst either. I would consider returning, but would probably want to try other spots first.

Italian Pavilion's Sicilian pizza is amazing! I had a craving and ordered a pie. It's crispy, very cheesy, and the crust is just crunchy and delicious. I love this place, and the consistency of the food is perfect. The past few weekends, I've ordered one when friends drop by in the backyard. Everybody raves about it. They work really hard and do a great job. The slices are huge! It's always been fabulous. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I look forward to having their Sicilian pizza every weekend!

    Slice of cheese. Great crust.

Super service and very friendly. Slice of cheese and 2 minutes it's there hot. Not fancy but just honest slice for $3.50 5 stars is because of how nice the guy was behind the counter.

    Slice of pizza + 2 garlic knots = $4.50

Perfectly acceptable pizza place on Mamaroneck with friendly staff. It's kind of a tight squeeze inside and no one is going to tell you the pizza is otherworldly but it was pretty standard NY pizza and at $3.50/slice (plain) about average for Westchester these days.

Can't understand all the lame reviews. Both the pizza and.wedges are great. Really! I've been here a few times now and I've never seen dirty premises or rude staff. Considering most of the negative come from people who wrote 1 or 2 reviews themselves, I think they need to be taken with a grain of salt. Definitely recommended!

I do not like the pizza here. I find the store to have a funky smell that turns me off. I do not go there anymore.

Classic WP pizzeria. Hasn't changed much. Good food and fast service. Best white broccoli slices on this planet.

We had a fantastic meal and an all-around great experience. For appetizers, we shared the octopus, a Margherita pizza, and fresh tomatoes with mozzarella drizzled with balsamic. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Pork Chop Milanese and absolutely loved it -- the breading was perfectly crisp and seasoned just right. I also had a chance to try my wife's lobster ravioli, which was rich and delicious. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting, perfect for a special night out without feeling over-the-top. For dessert, we had cannolis with a light filling I hadn't tasted before -- not overly sweet, just smooth and really good. Our young Italian waiter was on top of his game all night. He was attentive, professional, and even humored most of my dad jokes. Highly recommend this spot. Go, eat fresh, drink moderately, and tip well.

Our entrees were less than what we was hoping. My husbands veal parm was tender and tasty however the sauce tasted like jar sauce. It came with very little pasta on the side. I had the short rib gnocchi and let me say I've had better. It was bland lacking that garlic and slight tang flavor that usually accompanies short rib bolognese. We sat outside and while our server did his best to be attentive, he was spread thin, covering the inside and outside tables. We had to wait long for our drinks. Overall, we will not be returning to La Botte.

Second the staff was great. Thirdly and most important the food was great and it was fresh. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan then I had the fish and a crème brûlée as dessert. The eggplant Parmesan was good, it was crispy, a little oily then the fish as was also really good which was my main entree. My coworker had the fried calamari and that was really good, as well. The crème brûlée was good. Overall the food was good and I would definitely come back.

Wow! what an amazing restaurant!…read more Let me start by saying there is complementary valet parking right next door at the hotel garage. Be sure to validate your parking ticket with the waiter before leaving your table. I ate at this restaurant for a work luncheon, and they did not disappoint!! We had delicious apps - sadly I didn't get any photos.. baked clams, meatballs, fried calamari. There was a good amount of clams on the plate, there were 3 meatballs, and a I would say a small portion of calamari. May need multiple orders of the apps if you are dining with a group of people. Ambiance was lovely, lots of space, and very accommodating for a large group of people. Our waiter was attentive, and got all of our meals correct. We did the lunch price fixe - $27 for a two course meal (appetizer and entree, and tea/coffee)Great size portions!!! The eggplant parm was amazing. One of the best I ever had. I got the caprese sandwich, and the mozzarella was truly so fresh you can taste it. To end the delicious meal, I got the Italian cheesecake. That was truly delicious! I was raving about it the whole rest of the afternoon. I'll definitely be back!
