    Bam Bam Shrimp

Really was torn between 3 * or 4*, but I will give them the 4. I feel like this steakhouse was going for more upscale and it did have that vibe. The food was good but not amazing and the drink options were okay. I think what made me go 4 was because they were not busy and the wait staff, she really tried to make it great (the best) and they had small July 4th specials like a free Bam Bam shrimp with 2 drinks and steaks had 1 free topping, which she got mushrooms and I got onions. So I will say it was a good experience, not average. The mojitos were tasty and well done. They had bread that was okay, but not great, just kind of a soft wheat roll with butter. The Bam Bam was great and tasted amazing. The steaks, we had the 10 oz Sirloins and they presented well and were cooked correctly and still hot. came with two onion rings and one side. I had Garlic Mashed Potatoes and my wife had the Plantains. No issues and everything was good. The mushrooms for the steak are a mixture, so may not appeal to those who are partial to one type. Overall an decent experience. but a little more expensive than I would have liked if it had not been for the specials. Might need to try again, but I would try others in the area first.

    Blackened Chicken Pasta

I ordered a chopped salad, calamari, and blackened chicken pasta for two other co-workers and me. My salad had the wrong dressing; the avocado was a little brown. The calamari was somewhat okay, and the blackened chicken pasta was a real disappointment. The amount of grease on the to-go container was too much. My coworker stopped eating it because the pasta was drenched in oil. I always recommend this restaurant, but since the quality of the food is going down, this is it for me.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is delicious. We went here again the other night and brought others. Everyone agreed, it's yummy. The service is great and the manager Danny is amazing. The place is always clean. Oh and if you don't eat pasta they have zoodles. I get them all the time

We came here to celebrate NYE with our friends/neighbors in DBI (Deerfield Beach Island). Our group of 8 enjoyed our individual entrees, the cocktails and the Bam Bam Shrimp appetizer (reminds me of Kung Pao Shrimp). My hubs and I had our own version of Surf & Turf by splitting the Hawaiian Ribeye and Chilean Seabass. Both were outstanding. Thanks Kathy for the excellent service!

Our first time in Pompano Beach and we just stumbled across this restaurant. First look you would think it is a chain BUT it is NOT. It is a family owned establishment and one you should definitely try. The interior decor and ambiance bring you in and right from the start you get a good feeling it's going to be good. We went on a Monday night. Party of 2. No reservation. Hostess was pleasant told us it would be 10-15 minute wait. It was just under 10. We got a nice booth in the bar area. Our server was Connor. He came up to our table promptly Started with a glass of wine each which came quickly. We shared the soup (Tomato Basil) and salad (house) appetizer. I've found when it's shown as a combo the portions are smaller, but not in this case. It was a full bowl of delicious soup and the house salad was just as large and fresh and delicious. My husband opted for the Mahi Mahi with green beans and I had the Chicken Fierro. Both were delicious. Very nice size portions Mine came with two nice sized pieces of chicken; which resulted in being boxed up to have for lunch another day. We didn't have room for dessert but the choices sounded delicious (7 layer carrot cake, chocolate cake, or apple pie with ice cream) Connor was super attentive and gracious when we asked him for entertainment recommendations in the area. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend

Excellent service from the manager Lindsay, to our server Ricardo Came for Christmas Eve dinner and Loretta was our server...she was a ray of sunshine. The food was soooo good and the Christmas decorations were great. We started with a spinach artichoke dip which we gobbled up. I had chicken parm with angel hair in Alfredo sauce. Not something I normally would order in a non italian restaurant but boy was it delicious. My sister had 5 cheese pasta which she loved. We had leftovers for another 2 meals. Such a great experience

Inside the restaurant was cute and a little funky. However, it seemed off that evening. I noticed that many of the tables hadn't been cleaned off. Chairs were not neatly tucked in. The dining room looked in disarray. Yet, there was no one else there. If I hadn't read the good reviews on here, I would've just left. We found a clean table, and we had to ask the server for menus. The salads we ordered were good, but they needed more dressing. The ingredients were fresh, and I genuinely did enjoy the food. However, the state of the dining room and inattentive service set a not-so-great vibe. Perhaps it's different earlier in the day. Perhaps it was an off night.

The owner personally made our food, while the head barista took our order and crafted our coffee drinks. We ordered the Mexi Bowl and the Mediterranean Bowl, along with the tzatziki and pita to start. If you're comparing it to somewhere like Cava, it does take a bit longer, but it's clearly made with care. Everything tastes homemade, fresh, and noticeably better. The barista even made us a customized s'mores latte, topped with a toasted marshmallow, which was both fun and genuinely delicious. For dessert, we tried a homemade chocolate chip cookie with candied walnuts, and it was a total surprise homerun. This is the kind of place you come to when you want quality, not speed, and it's absolutely worth it.

We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. It was a little warm, but definitely worth it for the scenery. We ordered the shrimp sushi roll and the fresh catch branzino. Lauderdale and drove over here since we were in the area. Their fish tacos were one of their popular dishes so I opted for that and my husband got chicken cordon bleu. We also got the trout dip with pita bread but I didn't get a picture of that because we were all starving and then dessert was key lime pie and pistachio gelato. I did not expect the tacos to be so big. I also got this place mixed up with another place called the beach house so I was looking at the completely wrong menu! I took a pic for anyone looking and didn't feel like clicking 4x to get to it on their website. Back to the tacos -- the slaw was very juicy so don't forget to place your napkin! The mango salsa was not too sweet to overpower the rest of the taco and the beans and rice -- we were told was cooked in beef broth so it was very flavorful! It was way too much food to eat in one sitting (although I somehow managed to down 7/8 of that gelato it's a stomach mystery! And I don't like keylime pie so I didn't try it but the crust looked AMAZING! See ya in March! We're coming for you, patio! *side note: even though it was 94 degrees outside, they had a ton of fans blowing indoors and I was really cold. Goosebumps cold. My husband went to get my hoodie from the car and it's valet parking so he made a trek!

Revelry is definitely a unique spot with a really fun atmosphere. They have different seating areas, including couches and traditional tables, and there are also games you can take out and play. It feels like a great place to hang out with friends and spend a few hours. One of the highlights was the live music. They had two different bands performing, one from 12-2 and another from 2-4, so there was plenty of entertainment throughout brunch. Although this wasn't one of their regular burlesque brunches, they also had a burlesque dancer come out between the bands for a short performance, which was a fun surprise and added to the experience. The brunch menu had a nice variety, including shrimp and grits, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian options. My friends and I all ended up ordering the chicken sandwich, which was really good! You can choose your side, and we went with the breakfast potatoes. They also have lots of specialty cocktails and drinks to choose from. The restaurant definitely got pretty busy as the afternoon went on, so I would recommend making a reservation, especially for Sunday brunch. A few small tables set against the wall and a few larger tables on the outside sidewalk. Doesn't look like much thought was placed on the design here. Service: Didn't wait at all for one of those small inside tables. My server was efficient and served my tea latte exactly as requested. Little things can often make the difference between a successful dining experience and not and here were a few of the small things that were provided that make a difference. I ordered the pancakes and my server suggested a side of scrambled eggs. The food: I received two pancakes which were well done, light and fluffy and the perfect size. I also received plenty of butter (so many places don't give you enough butter) an ample amount of steamed milk for my tea (another area that always seems to be pretty hard to get right). One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.
