I'm not one to visit fast food establishments very often, but when I do, i still expect decent service and edible food. That being said, this has to be one of the worst Jack In The Box restaurants i have ever been too. When I walked in, there was a distinctly unpleasant and sour odor in the air. This should have been my first clue. The two girls at the front counter were giggling and laughing while trying to handle a large order. I'm not sure why it took two of them, but they both ignored me until they cleaned up the counter. Not even a "Hello, we'll be with you in a moment". I ordered anyway. Sourdough Jack, curly fries, and the jalapeno poppers. As I waited for my order, I noticed that many of the tables were dirty. One had a spilled drink with soda and ice all over the table and dripping onto the seats. When my order came, I sat down and started with a jalapeno. It was solid inside. I believe it was overcooked and had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. It obviously was not cooked fresh. I broke them all open to find they were all dried and crusty lime a cow patty. I took the jalapenos to the counter and complained. The girl I spoke with laughed and asked, "Really?" Nonetheless, she did have a fresh batch cooked up (I know because I watched then drop them into the deep fryer). I went back to my table and noticed ask the nest tables were still in their unclean condition as more and more patrons came in. Many patrons cleaned their own tables. I started eating the Sourdough Jack. If you ever want to know what a turd on a bun tastes like, visit this Jack in the Box and order the Sourdough Jack. It was dry, flavorless and the cheese wasn't even melted. The curly fries were fairly dismal. They tasted like they had been sitting around under a heat lamp too. My drink was the best thing that I consumed. I gave this place one star because zero stars is not an option on yelp. read more

I guess I've managed to hit the place on their better days/shifts. Done both drive-through and walk-in and eaten there. My labyrinth of odd modifications to the menu are usually completed without drama, and when it doesn't quite go well, it gets fixed quick. The soda fountain also has the oddball Fanta flavors (strawberry soda -- find THAT somewhere else in three tries or less) is a nice treat. That said, I still check the order before I leave the end of the drive-thru lane. Not so much a JIB issue, really... I guess I can be really impressionable, and the Joe Pesci line in "Lethal Weapon 2" about what they do to you in the drive-thru stuck with me. read more

I just drove to this drive thru at 2:20am, but couldn't order because there are 2 chairs blocking the drive through. Seems that the employees left the open sign on but is taking a long break. If it's not 24 hours the sign should not say so and the open sign should be off. Irritated that I got off the freeway I decided to write this review, and as I write it 5 cars have driven up just to learn they can't order either. read more

Update: I'm starting to believe that they're just plain careless AND stupid..My family wanted to go here so I tagged along grandfather ordered in drive through. He said everything slow enough for them to hear everything and the person even repeated it so I guess he didn't bother to look at the screen. We get to them and get our food and they missed curly fries and at this point my grandmother was already annoyed and wanted to leave so she didn't bother checking the inside of the box thinking it was her chicken strips. We get home and they have us 3 burgers and had we not noticed the missing fries that would have been missing too. Make sure you check everything if you want jack bad enough otherwise it's pointless to go to this shithole. Better off finding another location. The people who work here are ass. They didn't even apologize about the fries or try to make it right when it was they fault for fucking up the order in the first place. So much for making it right.. read more

I almost ate at this jack in the box this afternoon. I went to use the soda fountain and noticed a thick build up of bacteria above the dispensers and on the side of the machine, I took pictures and sent them to the Alameda county health department . I threw the food away and did not eat it. If they can't properly sanitize a drink machine thats in public view. I imagine they do not clean what cannot be seen by the public. Me and a friend of mine decide to hit up this jack last night, why I dont know they suck we all know they suck, but we were already on vasco and anyone who knows livermore know's there aint much around down that way as far as fast food past midnight or so, so anyways we decide to go, mind you the whole place is lit up with open sighns and drive thru open sighns, the works, anyways as were pulling up to the drive thru, we had to stop ubruptely because there was a table in the way of the drive-thru, crazy right? at first we think it's gotta be an accident, then we look inside and of course we see a whole table of workers all hanging out at one table some laying down on the benches other's eating, shooting dice, naw I kid but the rest was true, so I'm about to get out and move it when one of the workers creeps up from behind a car near the entrance and before I can even get out he say's there on break, say what??, so I asked so "your all on break?" "oh ya all on break" ok whatever so we back out and tried to hit up taco bell of course knowing in the back of my head they were closed, by this point we were pretty mad my friend used to work at this same jack-in-the box they take breaks in shifts so this situation doesnt happen. So we decide oh well we will just make a complaint, but wait hey let's get pictures of the table in the way, yes of course proof, so I hop out and try to get a pic of the table blocking the drivethru with the drive thru open sighn on in the background couldnt quite get it but between my android and his Iphone we got sum good pics showing these people's work they put in just so they wouldnt have to work, at this point same guy who told me about them being on break walks out telling us we can't take pictures it's cool we already had what we needed to send to corprate, so we start to drive off and get to the street were my friends getting his last drivethru open sighn pic when we witness a red mustang pull up, well he must have known the secret code or something cause he waived and they came and moved the table for him, so still being hungry we pulled in behind him, he must have known them or something cause they had his food to him hella quick, while we sat and waited and waited and then we waited alittle more all the time watching them make every little bit because I was so nervous of some spit, and why should I have to worry even though I did, I did nothing wrong but try and make these people do the dang job there paid to do, and I would love to pull into a drivethru when it says it's open and have it actually be open for once is this to much to ask America??? oh and I do agree with alot of the other post jack in the b should make speaking english a requirement for working at there restraunt's. thanks for reading oh and the food was mediocre at best but after the whole experience I almost wasnt even hungry anymore. read more

Can I get some grease with my food . Ok , I know this is fast food and it's not the healthiest option . But do they have to be dripping with grease ? The reviews scared me to eat at this joint, but my family wanted to stop by. I only ordered onion rings with ranch dip. I mean, can you really mess up on onion rings? They tasted pretty good. I visited this location on August 18th with my son, and our cousins. The person taking orders at the register was a man named Shaka or Ronnie. I have to say we received the best customer service I have ever received at a fast food restaurant. When we walked in he greeted us with a smile and a hello and that is so rare these days. My cousin is pregnant and she forgot something at the counter and he brought it to her. He was very pleasant with all of the customers and that made our dine in experience at a fast food establishment a great one. read more

I would have just called to complain. But since the phone number they has listed goes to a fax machine, yelp it is. Almost nothing is more annoying than when someone pretends to be busier than they actually are. Talking at lightning speeds to me through the drive through speaker is not really going to get me in and out any quicker than if you would just talk normal and be aware of customer service skills....Ordered an Iced mocha and 2 breakfast sandwiches.....so....aren't ICED mochas supposed to have ICE??? Yeah, no ice. So, the girl who practically through my food out the window to me so she could continue to pretend to be busy (no line in the store or in the drive through) also forgot to give me a straw....so I sat in the drive through for a good 2 minutes more before she stopped pretending to not see me, and guess what...she through the straw out the window too. Screw this place. The store near downtown Livermore has much friendlier and ACCURATE service. read more
