A SIGN CLEARLY SHOWING THEYRE CLOSED ON THE SATURDAY THEY ASKED TO RETRIEVE OUR ITEMS.
    Amie B.

I am APPALLED that I have to even write this review. As a small business owner myself, I cannot even begin to tell you how poorly we were treated by these people who also own a small business. My wife dropped off 2 items on Wednesday to be Hemmed. They advised to pick up the following Saturday 4-5pm. My wife informed them with great urgency that she needed these items NO Later Than Saturday. Jack's laundry promised us the items would be fine and ready. We believed them as we have never had a problem before. When my wife arrived at 345pm, just before the time they asked us to arrive, they were closed and had a sign up that said "Yearly Maintenance closed Saturday 9-4" My wife was a mess. She was hysterical. She needed these items to land an important job since she had been laid off since the pandemic. She called and called and left a message to no avail. Sunday comes and she has the interview in LA and still no response. She called and left another message. Fast forward to today ( the FOLLOWING FRIDAY) and we STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM JACKS LAUNDRY!! We call today and UNBELIEVABLY they called us LIARS, said that they and their employees were there, said they make mistakes some times, said they were open the whole time and then called us DELUSIONAL! They even told us they don't check their messages bc too many people prank them so they don't check their messages??? The male owner then said his brother was there and prob left early and it's not their fault. Then told us the sign in their door was fake and we put it there. We respectfully asked them why we would go to so much trouble to lie to them about this when all we needed were the two items we dropped off? They had no answer. We came by to grab our items today and were COMPLETELY DISRESPECTED, YELLED AT and told we could never use them again after they told us they were open the whole day Saturday and we must have come too late for pick up! We told them we have A picture of their closed store, lights out, with zero people inside and a NOTE THATS SAYS THEYRE CLOSED! With a TIME STAMP! Lady refused to look at it. They gaslighted us until we were in tears. DONT USE JACKS! Probably top 10 worst customer service experiences we have ever had in the 25 years we have lived in SF. Never again. NOTE TO OWNER: next time you run into this problem, and I'm sure you will based on your response, I'll give you a tip from One small business owner to another: just apologize to your customer, don't make them pay for the service you fckd up, and offer a free hem or dry clean on your next visit and you won't have these terrible reviews. I am in shock. UNBELIEVABLE and NEVER AGAIN!

One of the construction workers said they will be done in December. Hopefully Jacks will reopen then!

The was and bag service used to have 24hr turnaround, now it's 48hrs unless you pay $5 extra. Closing time is 10pm but if you come after 9pm, you cannot drop off. Whenever I come for pickup, even after paying $$, staff is not around half the time. There's a vaguely scribbled "back in 30 mins". Will they be back in 30 mins? Is it 30 mins from now or sometime back? Nobody tf knows. Sad to see this place become like any other laundromat in the city.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!…read more After weeks of calls, unanswered messages, and repeated promises that a manager would contact me, I finally received a callback only after reaching a number listed on my credit card transaction details. The representative was immediately defensive, repeatedly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, blamed me for the damage they caused, and insisted that her experience justified ignoring my written garment-care instructions. I had explicitly requested hang drying, yet multiple expensive garments were returned shrunken and damaged. Two of the worst-affected shirts had never been washed before Laundré handled them. Rather than investigate or offer a remedy, the representative said they would increase my existing charge and bill me additional hang-dry fees because those fees had not been applied correctly, while dismissing the possibility that the missing charges reflected the requested service not being performed. She also denied any recollection of a documented 30-minute pre-subscription call and focused on how I obtained the business number instead of why nobody had returned my calls. Mistakes happen, and this is exactly the kind of local business I would have loved to support. Laundré presents itself as an environmentally conscious, community-oriented service that takes thoughtful care of customers' clothing, and I likely would have given them substantial repeat business. Instead, the aggressive and dismissive response, combined with the complete refusal to listen or meaningfully investigate my concerns left such a terrible taste in my mouth and I am leaving this review as a warning. Do not take your clothes here. Do not risk it. Reaching anyone with authority is nearly impossible: calls and messages go unanswered, employees repeatedly promise a manager will call back, and those callbacks never happen. They can never admit any fault of their own and always double down.

Not sure if they're in the process of renovating but even when I came here few months back, it still looked the same so I don't think they're in a renovating process or it would have been done by now. Quarters use to give 7 minutes and now they give 5 minutes. You'll get your basic laundry needs done here if you're just coming to wash and dry clothes. I personally haven't used their services but seems like they're great base on other reviews. There's some cute decors around the place now but the place is absolutely filthy which is ironic when it's a place you come to get your clothes cleaned. Machines are dusty, found pet hair or some kind of fur in some machines, floors are dirty, and it looks like someone was sleeping here and left their blanket here. A worker came in and didn't even bother getting rid of it. There's wooden boards around the place too and benches are dirty which sucks if you want to just stay, relax, and wait for your laundry. Some pros: they have a vending machine for snacks and laundry needs and they have a scan and pay on some of their machines.

The staff was super kind, welcoming, & helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I love that they offer multiple ways to pay -- you can use quarters, tap to pay with your debit card, or download the FasCard app, which is super convenient. Not to mention, with every dollar you spend you gain points, that can be used for future discounts. The laundromat itself was very clean, well maintained, & located in a nice, safe part of the city. Lee answered every question I had, gave me very detailed information, & explained everything really clearly. They close at 10 PM, & I didn't finish drying & folding my clothes until around 10:45. After I finished, I went outside to wait for my Lyft, & Lee actually came outside to let me know I didn't have to wait out there & invited me back inside until my ride arrived. That level of kindness & customer service really stood out to me Overall, such a great experience & I'll definitely be coming back!
