    Carnitas Bowl

Popped in for a lunch on a Friday. Parking was easy, restaurant clean, workers were nice. Ordered a Carnitas Bowl and I enjoyed it. Would visit again. They have tons of stuff on the menu.

I was actually going to another place near this place but they were closed. Luckily, I gave this place a try. I ordered the tri-tip sandwich with fries. The bun was very soft and easy to eat. The meat was cooked perfect and was seasoned just right. The fries were hot, crisp, and tasty too. The inside was well lit and had a good number of booths and tables to sit at. The workers were friendly and helpful.

The staff is nice. The restaurant was clean. It was easy to get in and out.And the food is usually really good here. Today I have the new chimichurri steak bowl. The flavors just didn't really go together.Well in my opinion. The arugula was good, just didnt go with the rice and steak well. I think either rice or greens would work, not both. In my opinion.

    This isn't plum vinaigrette

I ordered an order for delivery and am not very happy. We ordered a tri-tip bbq sandwich and a create your salad. The sandwich was fine and tasty because it was on the bottom of the bag. Well sad to say the salad ended up being pretty bad. I ordered mixed greens, Fuji apples, strawberries, jicama, red onion, oranges and caramelized nut blend. I ordered the plum vinaigrette and ended up with Cilantro lime. Sad. Because whoever bagged my order decided to put a cold salad on top of a hot sandwich the salad pretty much ended up steamed and not much of it was even edible. And there were a couple random soggy croutons in it along with large pieces of the red onion. I've never had any issues with Jack's Urban Eats before, ever. But this has me thinking twice about ordering again.

We continue to order work lunches from this location and we have seen improvement in their food quality. Urban Fries, salads and Tri-tip are safe bets.

We seek out places we have never been before. Jack's urban didn't disappoint. I don't know why you're reading this, just get up. Grab the car keys, and go. You'll thank me! The sandwiches were fresh as was the bread. Everything comes separate. The garlic fries were a little wanting. Garlic plopped in the middle causing gooey fries in no time flat. Good but... The club sandwich was an incredible mix of chunks of chicken and turkey off the bone with ripe tomatoes and fresh avocado. This is one place we will definitely return to. P.S. Eat the pickle and pepper Really good.

Stopped in to grab a late lunch on Saturday. Most Jack's locations have the option of outside or indoor dining. We opted for inside since it was close to 100 outside. Even though it was a weekend it was crowded or busy we when arrived. It was actually good timing on our part as after our food arrived, there was a pretty big line to order. Staff were really friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Salmon Cobb which is one of my favorites at Jacks. Also ordered the grilled halloumi sandwich to share. Both the salad and the sandwich were fresh and flavorful. It was my first time trying the sandwich. I would definitely order it again. For drinks we also ordered a beer and iced tea. To be honest, I did not drink the iced tea as it was not good. I am a big fan of iced tea so this was a little disappointing, but not a deal breaker! Overall it was a good experience.

I love the natomas Jack's Urban eats! Definitely, a regular favorite! The food is always fresh and reliable. Today, Amber was my hostess and she was really nice and pleasant with a great customer service team spirit! Spring is in the air. Sun setting at 7:30pm people are outside dining longer and more frequently. The ambiance was a family friendly atmosphere. Really cool music playing.

I went here on a Wednesday evening with my son. There was lots of people out and minimal parking. But this location is in a pazza with other stores that share parking so it wasn't a big deal, we parked a little further from the restaurant and that was ok. The location was busy. Inside almost all tables were full, but there was plenty of seating outside too. It's open seating, you arrive, order food at the cashiers, they give you a number, you sit and wait, they deliver your food to you. The utensils, napkins, ketchup, etc are in the dining area and you have to get them - this was hard to juggle with my baby at the table and having to step away to get all the things. Still, i was happy with the customer service, the food was really yummy! My son really enjoyed the mac and cheese. I had the chimichurri steak sandwich, very good!

Great food, quick service and they always have enough seats for us. This is my 3rd time there with a group of friends and even though we were a group of 8 we lined up, they took our order, and they brought out our plates correctly. I love that in the summer the outside deck is amazing and easy to find a seat. The inside has plenty of comfy booths and seats, too. Ok, to the food, wow, I love grilled food and this is amazing. The tri tip is my go to and I always get the grilled veggies or asparagus. Most of us take boxes to go as it's so much food. I really wish we lived closer as I'd come all the time!

The food was great and filling. I got the chimichurri steak sandwich and the anchiote chicken salad. I ordered takeout and the food was ready very quickly. there is plenty of parking and plenty of places to sit inside and outside.

Clean place, consistently good quality food. I usually get the turkey sandwich. They have delicious sides. Mashed potatoes are my favorite here. Prompt service. We come here every week.

Turkey Plate: white/dark turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and dressing/stuffing and cranberry relish. Delicious mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing/dressing. Not much turkey (Small portion). My daughter loved her French fries w/ blue cheese and her salad.

Not the correct salad that went with this tag. The tag salad was never made.

It is a very casual setup, so do not expect an elevated dining experience. We ordered the FOB shrimp and the Chicken Katsu plate. The shrimp arrived a bit too sour and noticeably greasy for my taste. The Chicken Katsu was average and lacked the flavor and crispness I was hoping for. The macaroni and cheese that came with it was also quite dry, which made the plate feel incomplete. Service is minimal since you order at the counter and pick up your food yourself. I went in with high expectations and left feeling disappointed, especially considering how popular the place seems to be. That said, I am still open to giving it another try. There are a few other dishes on the menu that look promising, and I hope they will deliver a better impression on my next visit.

Honestly, I'm so…read moresad it's been so long since my last visit, because this place serves up some amazing food. The menu changes depending on what they're making, but they have certain items that are pretty consistent. One of those is poke. I LOVE their poke here, they have their own seasoned poke mix with fresh fish, veggies and sauce and it is delicious. They offer it as nachos, a bowl, or loaded fries and while I'm tempted to try some of the other options the bowl is my go-to. The poke bowl is $15 and comes with rice with furikake as well as a good portion of poke. Like I mentioned, it's preseasoned and it delicious. The ingredients are fresh and I love their flavor combination. I would love if the bowl came with a scoop of mac salad, but with the portion at this price I'm happy to add it as a side. I ordered the spring rolls ($4) and it came with five pieces of crispy and flavorful fried spring rolls. Great value for the price. I also ordered the pork laulau ($14) and Musubi ($3) for my husband and the portions on these were also great. The musubi was hot and flavorful and they gave me some FOB sauce with the musubi that went surprising well together. The laulau plate had mac salad, rice, and the wrapped pork. The pork was fattier than some of the laulau I've had in Hawaii, but was flavorful and the whole plate was a perfect portion for the price. The team working here was very friendly and helped me get in and out with my to-go order pretty quickly. The food was packed with care and made it home and was still nice and hot after the drive. They use high quality to-go containers and line them with aluminum foil which is a nice touch. They also made sure the vents were open on the spring rolls so they'd stay crispy. They have plenty of seating inside, as well as some outdoor seating. This restaurant is a bit tucked away, but has plenty of parking. I will definitely be back, and I won't wait as long between visits, because the food is so good! Check out their instagram for specials.

He came across as overly pushy, almost like a used car salesman, and frequently interrupted with jokes and comments. At one point, while we were browsing the dessert case, he called out, "Come back, I'm losing you," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. He was also very persistent about wine, repeatedly and suggesting that we needed it. What may have been intended as enthusiasm felt more like a sales pitch, making it difficult to relax and take in everything before ordering. Throughout our visit, he repeatedly told us to "focus," which came across as patronizing rather than helpful. Combined with the constant joking and commentary, it became distracting and made it difficult to make decisions. What was particularly off-putting was the lack of awareness that guests may simply want a quiet, relaxing experience. The owner didn't know us or why we were there, yet the constant attempts at humor, salesmanship, and commentary left little room to simply enjoy the experience. Not every guest is looking for entertainment; some are looking for a peaceful evening. When I asked whether the peppers were hot, he repeatedly responded that they were pickled. While technically true, it didn't answer the question we were asking. Even after clarifying, he continued to insist they weren't hot because they were pickled and repeatedly sang the "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" tongue twister, which quickly became tiresome. That said, the ladies who served us were absolutely stellar. They were attentive, professional, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. They were a bright spot in the overall experience and deserve recognition for the job they did. As for the desserts, the carrot cake was extremely dense and lacked the light texture I expect from a good carrot cake. The triple chocolate brownie was also disappointingly heavy--more like a solid brick than a brownie. Overall, while the friendly welcome was appreciated and the service staff were excellent, the owner's pushy sales approach, constant interruptions, and disappointing desserts left us with a less-than-favorable impression.

Disappointed that there was only 10 very small pieces of cheese in the saag. Chicken seemed skimpy also. It rates second to my favorite Indian, Bombay Grill but best in Natomas area. They are also the most expensive of all with no frills or extras. You would think for a $70 lunch, they could give you a small bowl of rice or how about some ice with my soda that I cannot get a refill on. I love restaurants that really specialize in a certain dish, and this place is certainly that! According to the menu, the broth is prepared for 72 hours to really get in the deep flavors it boasts. And yes, the flavor is here! I found the broth of the tonkatsu ramen to be very flavorful. It has a nice saltiness to it that really elevates the meal. By far my favorite part of the ramen experience was the pork that it came with. I typically am happy with the portion that it comes with originally, but the next time I come I'd highly consider ordering an extra piece. The pork has a sweetness to it that really balances out the saltiness well. My only small gripe with Fukumi ramen is the ramen noodles themselves. This is purely a personal preference, but I found the noodles here to be a bit thinner than I would like. I personally love a bit of chew to my ramen and these were very delicate. There is a thick noodle option as well, so maybe I'll have to see what that is all about. On the side I tried their chicken karaage which was done excellently. It came out piping hot with a nice texture to the outside. For high quality ramen in Natomas, Fukumi is an excellent option.

My favorite turned out to be the chef's salsa, which had a definite kick of heat. My food arrived in a few minutes, piping hot off the grill. I brought family in from the Bay Area to Chef Frank's, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance strikes that perfect balance--chill and casual, yet still elevated enough for a special occasion. We kicked things off with a mix of plain and spicy edamame, followed by two orders of my husband's favorite shrimp tempura and three orders of my go-to rainbow roll. Everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. A particularly special moment--my 88-year-old father made the trip to Sacramento after seven years (his first visit since my mom passed) and he truly enjoyed the beef/salmon bento box. That alone made the night meaningful. We also ordered additional specialty rolls with unagi and shrimp tempura for the non-celiac guests, and for our main event, the table indulged in three large sashimi platters. The fish was impeccably fresh, artfully arranged over ice--this is where they consistently shine. To top it all off, the birthday girls (my sister and my nephew's girlfriend) were treated to complimentary desserts--cheesecake and panna cotta--which was such a thoughtful touch. The ladies paired the evening with glasses of Cabernet, another personal favorite. Overall, it was a memorable night filled with great food, attentive service, and special family moments. The salmon lover's dressing is flavorful, we use the extra sauce for our sashimi. We also love their bento boxes. You can taste the charboil in their chicken and beef plates.
