I've been coming here since as long as I can remember and literally every other time I come here I need to explain to the newbie worker that Strawberries Dreaming is on the fucking menu. This girl asks me if I know the recipe or pull it up so she can make it. Wtf? Why would I go to Jamba Juice if I know how to make it and had the recipe on hand? Then this same girl goes to the back after a few back and forth and brings some other blonde girl and says I have to look up the recipe and show it to them in order for it to be made. Literally telling me "unless you can find the recipe online, we don't have it." Wtf so rude. It's on the menu! I've been ordering since 2008, so unless you guys took it off the menu at this specific location, it's in there! So annoying. Why is the Jamba in this plaza just so bad? Half the time the smoothies are too watery, and are more like juice than smoothie. I'm never coming to this Jamba again.. I'll drive further out for better Jamba and nicer staff., If you're going to be a bitch at work, please don't work there and ruin the mood for others that go. read more

Came here on 4/23/22 4:30pm after our Costco run. Hadn't been here for a couple of years now and my boyfriend wanted an açaí smoothie so I went in there with him to get a green juice like I used to. It turned out to be such a disappointment. First of all, the place smelled like rotten fruits right when we first walked in. The floor was dirty and stinky with pieces of trash on it. Not a good first impression at all. It was very hot and muggy in there like the AC wasn't working maybe? Could had opened the front door to get some fresh air though. Despite the stinky smell, we thought we would just get our drinks real quick and leave. So my boyfriend ordered a small açaí smoothie, and I ordered a "super greens" as it was listed on the menu, which from what I remembered was consisted of cucumber, spinach (maybe kale as well), green apple, lemon, and ginger. The cashier (a girl with blonde hair) said "I'm sorry what did you say?" I repeated myself, "may I have a small super greens please?" She looked at me and said "what is that?" Like I just made it up. I pointed at the menu on the wall and repeated myself again. She asked me, "what's in it?" I didn't say anything to her, but my facial expressions properly did the job for me. She then looked at the menu again and said "oh I don't think we make that anymore." And then she walked off to the juicer before I could even say anything. She was checking for something (I'm not sure what) then she came back and said "hold on." My boyfriend and I were looking at each other like "ok......" she started punching in something on the computer (I'm assuming she was looking up the ingredients) and said "oh yeah we do make that!" So I got excited for half a second. Then she said "but we don't have apples, cucumbers, and I don't know what super greens is" with a shoulder shrug ‍ another guy walked out from the back area, noticed that the girl was having some problems, and decided to jump in and help. She pointed at her computer screen and said to him, "I've never seen this, do you know what super greens is?" He shook his head and said "I have no idea" and walked away/ the girl looked at us and said "yeah we don't really do juices here." ‍ I was so blown away at that point with the lack of customer service and knowledge of these employees. Maybe they weren't trained correctly. But it's only common sense that you don't show your lack of knowledge in front of customers because it doesn't look good on you. None of these people apologized for the inconvenience of not having half of the ingredients needed for a simple recipe. I have been a manager at a retail store for 17 years, if my employees had this bad of a job performance, they would had definitely gotten a write up and extra training. read more

My visit here was awesome. I think the açaí bowls are great and I love that it's in an actual bowl and not a container. As most açaí bowl, it is very filling. I barely could finish it. My favorite is the Island Pitaya bowl. The employees are nice and give their opinions on whichever they think it's best. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I've been to this Jamba location a couple times with no issue but this last time was sub par to say the least. Only small cups are available right now (understandable, there's apparently a nationwide shortage), but they won't let you buy a larger size and put it into multiple small cups... That alone would not be cause for much issue but it coupled with the fact that my drink tasted spoiled? Unnacceptable. Please make sure everything is up to date as I'm pretty sure something you're selling is expired. read more

While I love Jamba Juice, I seem to always have issues at this location. There have been times where they were completely understaffed and everyone's smoothies took at least 10-15 minutes. Another time, they got a new POS and were learning how to use it correctly. I feel like this could have been done in a training that way the customers aren't waiting too long. It also stinks that since they got the new POS (it's been a week or so) that the points system isn't working in their store, so I am spending money here but not earning any points. I've also found that when ordering a bowl it can take literally forever here. Overall, I wouldn't come to this Jamba if you are in a rush- if you have time to spare and are in the area then by all means, go! read more

Hands down the worst experience I had with Jamba. I went in and wanted to order a large smoothie 24 oz. The girl behind the counter (her service was fine) told me they were out or large cups and only had small cups left. So I said, ok, can you make me the smoothie and split it into two 12 oz cups for me, which is what I've done countless times for us to share - better for the environment too. She said I have to charge you for that.! So I thought, that is crappy, but ok, an extra 25 or 50 cents for a cup is bearable, until I found out what she meant was that she had to charge me for two 12 oz smoothies, so I had to pay $12 instead of $7.20. Rude employees and deplorable service. They go out of their way to ignore you when you walk in, never acknowledging your presence. I just went in and was literally ignored for a full 8 minutes, at which point an employee came up to the registers but continued to ignore me. I asked if I could order, she said she was clocking out. No indication when i would be helped. I left without ordering, and not for the first time. Don't bother with this place. It's clearly being horribly managed and staffed. read more

We spend a lot of time at Cypress Costco. Jamba Juice shares the parking lot, which can be a blessing (lots of available parking spaces) or a curse (manic drivers fiending on scoring bargains at Costco). Though easy to find, Jamba is dwarfed by Baja Fresh, Panda Express, Ha Sushi, and a sandwich shop, so for me it's not memorable. I had to search Google for the closest location tho' I pass this store all the time. Smaller square footage than its Seal Beach and Cerritos counterparts, the shop is clean with enough room for foot traffic. They must get crowded during the summer when folks crave a refreshing cool drink. Luckily the plaza is spacious enough to accommodate folks waiting outside for their order to be filled. Good customer service - friendly and welcoming. Nice variety of smoothies. And I was happy to see (unlike McDonald's) they actually use fresh fruit (banana and peaches) and fruit juice (peach). I feel like I'm getting a real meal, instead of artificial flavoring. read more

I will have to say though I was a bit disappointed the way my drink was made as I asked for it to be extra thick... normally most locations do a wonderful job of making sure the thickness of my drink. They always show that it won't fall out of the blender because of how thick it is but my smoothie was more like juice. This Jamba Juice is relatively close to work, right across the street which makes it even better for those hot days or morning stops before work. I'd take a juice over a coffee anyday. What I like about Jamba Juice is that they use fruits and its made fast, fresh and badda bing badda boom! you're on your way. They have different smoothies. Some of their regular ones, to ones for the health minded. And they also offer one free boost with any drink order. If you want more boosts, you have to pay a little extra. But I think one boost is good enough. They also offer grass shots. If you haven't tried one, you should at least try it once. I said I'd never try it cause its grass .. who would want to take a shot of grass?? haha but I did and it's quite interesting. Tastes like grass =p They also sell little snack power bars and what not, so you can grab some while you're chugging down your juice. The cool thing is, sometimes they'll have promotional periods where you can get a free drink or buy one get one drink free so be sure to be on their mailing list. I would like to share a terrible experience I encounter today, March 1, 2024, at this Jamba Juice store 5373 Katella Ave, Unit B Cypress CA 90630, at 1:36pm. Since I am a rewards program member, I wanted to use a coupon I received for 50% off a smoothie. When I approached this store, the line was long, and I decided to stand in line. When I was waiting in line, I noticed only one girl who was working. She was taking orders washing blender pitchers and blending smoothies all at the same time. She was also fulfilling all the mobile orders at the same time. I stood in line for about 17 minutes, and the girl said out loud that I was only going to take Jamba Juice orders from the next customer in line. Everyone else would have to leave. She was back up on mobile orders, and she was the only Jamba Juice employee working in the store. It's very frustrating waiting in a long line for nothing. I can't blame the girl who was working she was doing the best she could all by herself. This is a poor management issue. I asked the girl working in the store for the manager. She told me there is no manager there available. But she did give me the store manager's name, which is De'Miyah. I am not sure if De'Miyah is a good store manager, but she dropped the ball today. If you are under staff, then post a sign saying so or close the store instead of having customers come in and wait in a long line just to be turned away because you are under staff. The other customers in line were also frustrated and inconvenienced as well. I am writing this review to let Jamba Juice know this is not satisfactory from a customer perspective. read more

Ordered 2 Acai - one large, one small - spent $12 today around 4:30pm. Tasted like crap - why? Because they do shortcut work. They just use one blender - and maybe less ingredients just so they can fill up the large and small cups. I could not taste the Acai at all! All I can taste is ICE. Ingredients were probably NOT multiplied - If a large cup need this much, they did not add the ingredients for the small cup... just filled that blender with ice... maybe multiplication of ingredients is too much work... But we paid for $12 worth of smoothie - please do not do shortcut work. It is probably better if different orders are placed if ordering 2 or more smoothies. At least 2 blenders will be used on the 2 separate orders. read more

The reason for this is because I didn't appreciate the attitude Kaitlyn gave me, she was very rude. I was walking in and getting off the phone with my fiancé. I was just putting on my mask and she rudely told me to put my mask on, I told her not to speak to me like that, and she started arguing with me, telling Me I needed it on. I told her don't argue with me. I told her I was already putting it on and she proceeded to tell me I needed it on before I came in, She never gave me a chance to do anything. She never welcomed me she was just like "put your mask on"so rudely. I'm a manager myself and I would never have had employees or myself speak to guests like the way she was with me. When asked his favorite he told me, and we shared that as a favorite. What makes Brandon special is that the service he provided was so great, I forgot I was at Jamba Juice. I told him then, and I meant it, it is so hard to receive good customer service. That when I do receive it, I just do not know how to feel, other than extremely grateful. Great smoothie taste but the service is horrible. We ordered our drinks during a slow time and it took unnecessarily long for them to come out (25 min). I had a mobile order and they fulfilled the in store customers first who ordered while I was present when I ordered in advance. On a hot California afternoon, I visited this location during my lunch break because I heard they were having their buy 1 get 1 free special. Woohoo! Deals :) Anyway, walking in, the 2 people working were a bit busy, which might explain why I did not receive the best of service when one girl took my order. She seemed slightly annoyed and impatient...uhh ok. I ordered the mango madness and strawberry whirl large size which could have cost around $13 but ended up being around $6.50. it would have been real expensive otherwise for a drank... They were busy so it did take about 15 minutes for our drinks to come out. And finally when we had them they were tasty enough and refreshing! The location never gets busy during lunch hours and weekends. It's great that they still serve the classic smoothie flavors and it tastes the same every time. The cup is always filled to the top and there are never fruit chunks left at the bottom of the cup. The baked goods are great plus they always heat it up before serving.
