Celebrating National Smoothie Day between 3pm and 6pm on 6.21.24 with $1 Strawberry Swirl or Mango-A-Go-Go... 16 Oz... one per person, while supplies last. I tried to figure out which Jamba Juice would be the least crowded at 5:30pm. I guessed wrong... Located at Kunia Shopping Center, this location of Jamba Juice was PACKED! There was a line out the door! I was about the tenth in line - not counting all of the people inside of the small shop. The line inside snaked around like we were waiting for a Disneyland ride! When I got inside, I did notice the convenient restroom! Other than that, I really can't comment on ambiance since it was wall-to-wall people! At least everyone was patient and respectful of each others' personal space. At 6pm, the manager apologized to the customers that they had run out of the $1 specials. A bunch of us left. Had the worst experience at specifically this location by an overworked manager that could do with an attitude adjustment & additional help -- i have a suspicion that the latter could remedy the former, unless it's just a personality thing... on that, i really could not say. Her immediate boss reached out to me and rectified the situation, which i greatly appreciate (hence the added star), but i would still be wary when visiting this location. Decided to order from Kunia Jamba since it was on my way. I got there around 8:30 a.m. and the first thing I noticed when walking in was the overflowing trash. There was a customer already waiting in line, so it didn't bother me that the worker didn't greet me. I figured they had already greeted the person in front of me. The worker completed making the smoothie she was already working on. The person in front of me began ordering blue vanilla (not certain what the actual name is). The worker said, "we don't have that because it's not blue any more it's white" the woman asked what is missing that it's not blue and the worker again repeated "we can't make it blue" by a quick look of the menu it was probably because they didn't have blue spirulina, but I didn't want to add to the conversation as I do not work there and wasn't really sure. Fast forward to my order, I had a mobile order. I could see there was a fridge for online orders but I also had a pretzel and didn't see it near the fridge. When I let the worker know I had a mobile order and my name, the reply was "top shelf" while pointing to the fridge. As I began to ask for my pretzel the worker just turned and grabbed my pretzel and handed it to me. The entire time, through both my order and the person before me, the worker never smiled. The only reason I am giving this Jamba 2 stars is because of perspective. Huge shout out of appreciation to the manager, Sharay! I placed a four item order through the Jamba Juice website to be delivered to my workplace. The driver who picked up the order called me three different times, confused about the location and entrance to my job, even after clear instructions over the phone. Long story short, after almost two hours, the driver never found my location and I never got my order. I called Jamba Juice to ask for a refund. Sharay was very helpful and politely explained that they unfortunately couldn't give me a refund due to the third party deliverer. She offered to remake my order and personally deliver it to my job! Her patience and kindness definitely flipped this unfortunate experience into a positive story that I'll gladly tell others about. It was such an incredibly nice gesture! When I walked in there was 2 waiting for pickup and 2 of us waiting to order. The young lady thanked us for waiting. She was friendly and assured us that we would have put smoothies quickly. "An Un-Bowly Creation" Disappointing level of preparation went into the Açaí Primo bowl I ordered this morning. The açaí mix was soupy and the only toppings were granola and bananas. The menu and menu pictures clearly state that the bowl comes with blueberries, coconut, and strawberries. I've ordered this bowl at least 50 times in the past, and as such feel as if I am a decent judge of bowl standards. When I asked the woman working this morning to add these missing toppings she said "they are not included". A simple review of the menu would have corrected her lack of attention to detail. I felt as if no effort was going to be extended to correct this bowl tragedy, so I left without any further complaints. I've had great bowls at this Kunia location in the past. This team needed some better training, customer service relations, and supervision. // Update: I ordered the same bowl a day later. For the most part, this Jamba Juice is very good. Using the app does make it faster if you remember to order in advance! It happens that when I usually go here, it's not typically busy. My go to is the orange C booster and acai bowl. They always accommodate my allergies to different ingredients. I can't comment on the food since I've not ordered food items. The only knock is that at times the smoothie is not blended extremely well and you get a few pieces of fruit in the mix. Overall, a great JJ! read more

14 April 2022 About 7:40 Me and my family walk in and there is a single worker washing dishes. She says no welcome and stands at the register without saying a single word. We all stood there and she said nothing about her being ready to take our order or notify us for anything. We said our order after she stood and stared at us for a few minutes. We paid and said thank you but she gave no response. She made our order and aggressively put things onto the counter and in our bag. When we grabbed our order we said thank you and have a good night twice and still no response. Our drinks and acai bowl were made extremely watery. The açaí bowl came with 2 banana slices and nothing else. She was also in a wind breaker and sports bra, her jacket progressively unzipped as she was making our order. Went tonight, after the gym, to get an Acai bowl, which we sometimes do.. I just love there Acai bowls!!! But for some reason they didn't have any covers, WTH!! The guy asked me if I needed one and of course I said yes but the looks at me and says "we don't have any"... WTH!!!! How the heck was I suppose to carry this thing home while driving... well I manage to get it home without spilling and covered it with another cover that I had, so I could enjoy it after I took a shower... They should of gave me a discount or something, I felt dissatisfaction with the service tonight!!!... Here again at this location and for my açaí bowl and I'm so disappointed!!! They ran out of covers last night and tonight their bowls are smaller because they ran out of bowls but the same price... I feel ripped off!!! I think management should be more on it, on making sure they have enough covers and bowls to last them, until the next time the put in their orders... i think that's unexceptable to change the size overnight!!! I still think it's a little awkward to key in your phone for rewards upon ordering. Seems like the workers are just watching you telling you to hurry lol. Where do I start. I walked in Jamba Juice and no one was at the counter. Then a young man walked out near the counter then went to get someone else so they could take my order. Both gentlemen came to the counter. After I started giving them my order, one of the guys walked away quickly to make my Green and Ginger Juice BEFORE I could finish saying what I wanted in the drink. After I finished my order, the guy at the register started yelling the other guys name to tell him what I wanted but the other guy did not acknowledge him. So he yelled again and still....no acknowledgement. The guy picked up a big white bucket looking container that did not look clean. I could not see if he poured that in my cup or not so I will assume the best....that he did not. Because I ordered 2 items, each guy made one of the items. The 2nd guy made my drink really well. It was thick and looked like the normal smoothie I always order. But for the love of God.....the first guy made an AWFUL smoothie for me. It was SUPER WATERY!! I didn't have the heart to say anything. I just took both smoothie and left!!! On my way home, I noticed after about 5 minutes, the drink was starting to separate.....it was almost clear on the bottom half of the drink It looked DISGUSTING!!! Just for the acai bowl: My first try at an acai bowl and got the acai primo! It was pretty good and decent price compared to many other places. The 24oz is huge and super filling! The fruits were fresh and the textures were nice with crunch!! I enjoyed it! Looking forward to trying other bowls. I like Jamba Juice--their smoothies and their bowls in particular. However, a few of the people that works in here have NO work etiquette whatsoever. I came in and ordered a few things for my friend and there are a few things I want to call out. Scooping the acai--aren't you supposed to wear gloves? I seen one of the workers, one with the earrings, scoop the acai out of their containers without gloves on. I don't wanna sound like a broken record but aren't employees supposed to wear gloves when prepping food to prevent cross contamination? I only seen him wear gloves when when prepping the rest of the bowl. On the brighter side, the guy prepping the bowl was very nice. Another thing is--I do not mind at all having conversations while working as I do it myself. HOWEVER, if you are having a loud conversation as if there's no customer there, AND go as far as mentioning the b word right in front of multiple customers is just VERY poor work etiquette. to the management--pls tell your employees to have a little bit more consciousness because the people that worked during the lunch shift on January 3 doesn't have work etiquettes... at all. read more
