I don't get it. The only thing that I would order again was the pot of bread, which is essentially a dinner roll in a muffin tin. I tried the cinnamon raisin and the peaches and cream. They were both good, and slightly undercooked, which makes the dough delicious, but it's not worth coming back for. The cinnamon raisin was the normal white bread roll with cinnamon and raisins sprinkled on top after it was done cooking, and the peaches were the same way: white roll with a spoonful of cooked peaches dropped on top after baking. Meh. The other food we got was mediocre at best and the ingredients were clearly low quality: canned mushrooms andcanned black olives, frozen spinach, what seemed like reheated Arby's meat, and precooked egg patties for the omelets. They were just the spongey egg patties like you might get at subway (except larger) and then some low quality ingredients warmed up and placed inside like an egg taco. Service was okay but I felt like they waited a long time to bring the check, which we felt guilty about because there were people waiting for tables. Everyone was friendly, and it was bustling, but I don't understand why it's so highly rated. Wouldn't go back. Update: since the owner of the restaurant responded with saying that the ingredients are fresh and there are a whopping six eggs in each omelet, I just feel like it's worth stating that there's no chance in hell thats true. So I don't know if this was actually the owner, and he has no idea what's happening in his kitchen, or if that was written by someone hired to pretend to be the owner and respond to negative reviews... but either way, I'm not an idiot and I know when I'm looking at canned mushrooms and canned olives. I've made a quickie pizza a time or two. Also, yesterday I made 5 eggs scrambled for my son and I. Again, I'm not an idiot and I have some frame of reference to understand what a certain count of eggs looks like in a skillet. There's absolutely no possibility that six eggs were used in my omelette. First time coming to this spot after hearing about good it was for months. I came with my girlfriend and son. I had the Jamms French toast combo with scrambled eggs and bacon with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything I ordered was delicious! Definitely my breakfast go to spot now and also my favorite French toast in town. My girlfriend had an Omelette with almost every topping she can order on the menu and she loved it. The customer service here is also really great and the people here are all friendly and nice. My wife and I were staying in LV for the weekend and we were interested to take our friends out for brunch on Sunday. Since we are from California and unfamiliar with LV restaurants, we made couple of calls until somebody mentioned "you must try this local family place called Jamm's". And so we did. Although we had to wait for about 15 min, as soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a warm smile and greeting by the hosts. Once seated, she took her time to chat with us and find out where we are from, where we staying and how did we enjoy our time. Then the waitress showed up with a charming warm welcome going over the manue and specials for the day. Within a few min on her own decision she ordered some very tasty strips of French Cinnamon sticks like French toast with sweet sauce. Yami.... Also, she ordered their signature amazing brad..., wow..., "just as appetizers" she said. I built my own 3 eggs omelet stuffed with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and avocado. The food portions were huge and delicious. Then this gentleman showed up and Introduce himself as the owner starting very casual nice conversation, sharing with us the history of the place..., 23 years with great pride. Clearly, this place gears towards locals only, off the strip. The atmosphere during the 1 hour or so brunch was relaxed, warm and homey. We felt so good and did not feel like leaving but..., we had to drive back home to the Silicon Valley area....only 7 hours drive. Wonderful experience. And wow...., the price fair and reasonable. Moved back to Vegas & was excited to return here for breakfast as it's been so long! Invited a friend & we both went with the server's recommendation of the corned beef hash & eggs. It was my friend's first visit to Jamm's. We didn't comment on each other's breakfast but we didn't have to; we both didn't eat much of it. Basically, no seasoning or flavor on the hash and the potatoes. I'm so sad. Our server was very friendly & his service was excellent tho. I was just too embarrassed to say anything in front of my friend. We just spent the time catching up chit-chatting. read more

We discovered this place through yelp on a recent trip to vegas. We were getting a little sick of over priced buffets and dinging slot machines, so we strolled on over to Jamm's and have made it our go to breakfast trip whenever we're visiting Vegas. I'm a coffee fiend, I strongly judge places by their coffee, and Jamm's has some damn good coffee. It's got a good flavor and it's brewed strong. Don't be dismayed by a long wait, it's worth it. My go to is the stuffed French toast, but if you don't have a super sweet tooth like me, I'd suggest the the Chicken BLT with Green Waffles. I can't believe in the years I've been coming here I have never reviewed Jamm's. This spot has been voted Best of LV numerous times and for great reason. I have never had anything here except breakfast, regardless of the time of day. Their Irish Skillet is to die for, potatoes, corn beef, bell peppers, eggs and cheese. It's definitely my go to meal. I've also had the Jamm's French toast (coated in crunched corn flakes) and a few of their breakfast sandwiches. I have never been disappointed and will always come back!! read more

I've been coming here for breakfast for almost 20 years. An old local told me about this spot and it's been my go to. I live in CA, and my best friend and I have driven to Las Vegas for breakfast. My husband and I look for a few things when we go out: friendly service , drinks refilled and nicely portioned great tasting food. We definitely found all of these at Jamms! My Jamm's steak omelet was very tasty with fluffy eggs and the home fries were seasoned well and didn't skimp on the portion. My husband's chicken fried steak, home fries and 3 eggs over easy were equally as delicious. The cinnamon raisin pot of bread was tasty and tender. His ice tea and my coffee were never empty. Just fantastic. From the host to the waiter and even the bus boys and runners, everyone and everything was great. When my wife and I arrived we almost shied away from eating here because it looked very busy; there was a small group of people outside even. But that group disappeared fast so we went on in. We were greeted quickly, had our name taken down by the hostess and were seated in probably less than 10 minutes. Shortly after, we were brought some water. A few minutes after that our waitress came and grabbed our orders. I mentioned we had a coupon from Yelp for a free pot of bread for checking in. I showed her my phone and she returned a minute later with the orange cranberry version, which was really good; fresh and still warm. For our orders, my wife got an omelette, hash browns and some toast. I got the Hungry Lion breakfast which is your standard breakfast platter of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pancakes and a big slice of ham (bonus points for putting the butter for the pancakes in a little cup and not glopping it onto the cakes themselves). We also shared a french press of coffee which they brought out before the food. Again, everything was great. Coffee, food, everything. And it's all super inexpensive! For the two of us we spent less than $25. You can also get an extra 10% off if you show the hostess that you checked in on Yelp. I made sure to tip the waitress really well, she deserved it. The breakfast food outside of that is meh. I like supporting small businesses but I have to be honest the food here isn't very flavorful. Yummy! The pot of cinnamon and raisin bread was a perfect way to start the beginning of fall. The Ruben is one of the best I've had in town. It's a great sign when they ask your preference of corned beef or pastrami. The portions are very generous and the prices very reasonable.
