And when the cut or color hasn't turned out exactly like I wanted (which MAYBE has happened 3 times in 8 years), I have gone back and he has fixed it - no questions - no problem. I have been coming to Jason Patrick Salon since it opened. Saed Zaarour, the owner, does the best Brazillian blowouts in all of the South Bay Area. I've had four so far and they last me six months! Everything was great until I decided to do the Ombre look. Months before we went darker brown, which i came back for and that was fine, thats why I'm giving 2 stars instead of one......THEN came the ombre. Dear Sweet Baby Jesus I looked one hot MESS. It took her 4plus hours. I could tell she was rushing and trying to speed up the process by putting me under a heat lamp. She used foil, witch didn't allow the color to blend beautifully, instead I had a stair case up and down the back of my head. Clearly she could see the job she did. Her and the other hair dresser kept saying "it looks so good" Im pretty good at keeping my cool, Im not a cry baby when it comes to money, although it was $300. STAY AWAY, if a hair dresser is going to let me walk out looking like a did, trying to reassure me just to get a dollar, I promise I won't be the last. I stayed in the house for 3 days and did not leave until I found a different hair dresser, who was just as in disbelief than me, that a licensed hair dresser did the job she did. She should have said "I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO OMBRE" and I would have said "OK". read more

If you want a GOOD haircut this is not the place! I went twice and spent almost $300 for a touch up on color, and the weakest haircuts I've ever experienced. After the second time I could see the hairdressers wheels turning as he calculated how much money he would be making off me. Instead of taking care of me he took advantage of me. I have rarely been so unhappy after leaving a salon. Save your money and go to someone who REALLY cares about you........the customer. I have not used their hair services, but I had a great facial with Larisa. She was very professional, explained what the process would be, and did a great job. Said does the best highlights I've ever had. It's so hard to find someone who takes the time to do natural looking, fine-textured (not chunky), highlights. He is meticulous in his work and does it in sections so that no section ever overprocesses. My hair dries out so easily and it has never been burned or dried out at all when he does it. Lindsey is THE man!!! After going to the same stylist for years and being unhappy with the results, I finally took the leap and tried someone new. I have a tendency to be difficult because I know what I want and if it's not exactly right I will obsess over it. Lindsey did a fabulous job not only on my cut but on my color...he gave me exactly what I had been wanting and was not getting at my old stylist. My hair color is perfect!!!! I had my first appointment with Said today and was so impressed and love my hair. I have been with the same stylist for the last 8 years and became very unhappy with my hair at a very high price. I've been going to Lindsey for many years now. I know that I'm just a guy but my hair isn't easy to cut. My hair goes from being bald on top to very thick. This is unusual for me to write a review but I feel like I need to tell as many people as possible - I just had a facial from Larissa and it was, by far, the best facial I've ever had. It was 75 minutes of pure and complete bliss. She is so talented and nurturing - it is an amazing experience. My skin was glowing after, but it was more than great skin that I got out of it. This is the worst salon I have ever been to! I made an appointment with Said, I went in with pictures of what kind of haircut I wanted and what kind of color I wanted. My hair was past the middle of my back and the hair cut I wanted was about 4 inches below my shoulders with some chunky highlights on top so the underneath would be darker......When he was done chopping I had a horrible bob that was above my shoulders.....He kept saying it was longer in the back.....my hair is pretty much all one length! and the highlights he put in....completly blended! and no where near the color I wanted....it would have been one thing if I just decribed what I wanted to him...but I had pictures and my hair was more than long enough to get what I wanted!!! and to make it worse it cost $200 and when I confronted him about how horrible it was...he refused to refund my money! he offered $40 for me to go down the street and buy something to make it less brassy!! how can you admit that it's brassy and not think you need to refund my money!!!
