Jason's is probably one of my favorite local places to eat here in North Arlington. While you can build your own sandwich of any style, I love the California Club (no guacamole) with the fresh fruit side. I also like the nutty mixed up salad, and occasionally one soups. The salad bar is probably one of the best in the area. And, to top it off, the prices are great! read more

Food was ok, but the roach at the food bar wasn't a great site. Didn't seem as clean as it use to be.

The bus boy was attentive, but that's all I can say good about this place. I went with my family and my wife and I ordered 2 all you can eat salad bars. The cashier clearly shouted down the line "2 salads" to let the people at the end of the line know to have our plates ready. After getting all of the rest of our food and talk g it to our table, the salad plates were still not ready, because the guy at the end was still engaged in a personal conversation with someone else. Finally fed up with waiting, I grabbed a plate and started to place salad on it when he came charging out from accusing me of stealing a salad bar. I grabbed my receipt from the table, and showed him we purchased 2 all you can eat salad bars. He didn't apologize, but instead tried to explain that if he didn't get the right plates, we wouldn't have been able to exchange them when we came back. I explained that if he had done his job and had the plates ready in the first place, this would been a non issue. I doubt we will be returning to this location any time soon. read more

Jason's Deli is always a nice place to stop for lunch and they've always got something for everyone. Their salad bar should provide almost anyone with everything they need to make a salad to their liking. It has a great selection of veggies. Let's not forget sandwiches! I have enjoyed eating at Jason's quite often in the past and I always order the same thing - Plain Jane. The last few times that I have ordered a baked potato - I have received potatoes that were not thoroughly cooked. Today I returned my potato stating that it was still a bit raw in places. The Manager on duty basically told me that it was cooked thoroughly. What has happened to "the customer is always right". This is the WORSE service/attitude that I have ever received at a restaurant. On Friday 11-23, My husband ordered the big plate of salad bar which allows you to go back several times if you want to, and I ordered Smoky Jack Panini. The busser lady (Maria Sevales I think her name was) who cleans the tables and replenishes the salad bar told my husband in an unpleasant disrespectful manner, came face to face at him, leaning on her left arm on the counter, staring at my husband, said with authoritarian tone of voice, that "You have to have a ticket!" That he is only allowed to have the food on the free section. My husband, a 73 year old man who had suffered a stroke and a heart attack in a span of few years have problem hearing. He speaks softly and tried to understand what the woman is telling him. I overheard the conversation that Maria was short of yelling at my husband so I got up, approached them and asked what is the problem? My husband showed Maria that he has a ticket for the big salad bar. The supervisor showed up, a mexican guy by the name of Joel and Maria started to speak to Joel in Spanish. Not understanding Spanish, I told the woman that she is not in a position to speak to the customers in a disrespectful manner, (not to mention she speaks very little English). She was INDIGNANT to say the least, angry facial and bodily expression, that I'm arguing with her. I asked Joel for her name and I addressed her, told her we will complain to 'your compania' She understood what I said and she challenged me saying "Go ahead!!!". I couldn't believe that this was happening! she continues to rant while Joel argues with us and defends Maria saying that "Management instructed us to check customer's tickets". My husband, who is a teacher, explained that Maria did not even ask for it. In fact, another customer who is also Mexican sitting next to us, had a small salad plate but kept going to the bar several times and both Maria and Joel saw that, but closed their eyes and did not ask for his ticket. My husband told Joel that "You are defending her because she is mexican like yourself'. You are not part of the solution". Joel said, "No, I just want to know who is right and who is wrong!!!," We asked 'Where is your manager?' Melissa who arrived after a delivery, managed the situation beautifully. She apologized and corrected Joel that "management never ask the servers to check customer's tickets". She offers us a free salad bar next time we come back and asked Maria to see her to her office. It would have been more appropriate for the manager to ask Maria and Joel to apologize to us, but unfortunately, it did not happen. We have been customers since my daughter was a toddler. She is now 22 years old and we still come to Jason's Deli every week. We would be hesitant to come back next time if we see that this employee still works there. Overall, We are buffled how an employee who speaks little English got her green card or citizenship since they had to go thru comprehensive oral and written test in "English" to pass the immigration application to be legal. read more

The food is always great. The portion size is good and it is always exactly what we ordered. The only complaint I have about this place is the service. I usually pick up the food to go and I have never had a good experience at this location. They always tend to forget something (my drink or side) and they are not friendly or helpful in any way. I check my order while I am still there and I reminded them that they forgot my drink and side salad and the girl told me I walked in the wrong way (I walked in the to go side) and she did not give me anything to put my salad in (she was more worried about talking to a coworker). The previous time I ordered carrot cake and when I reminded the staff she acted like I was inconveniencing her. My husband has had the same issue when we ordered extra pickles and the girl behind the counter took a handful of pickles and threw them in the bag and said a snarky remark (this was after the manager apologized for our order being an hour late). This is a great place to eat. My husband and I go there and both get a sandwich, different each time and then a bake potato. They are huge. We love it because it is so much that we always take home for another meal. There is not many places that you can get two meals for the price of one. We have been to other Jason deli's in the Dfw Area all have been very good. So when I went to AZ on vacation and seen that they had put one in at the Arrowhead mall i had to tell my parents. Holy fucking giant baked potato and broccoli cheese soup Batman! I am the first to review Jason's Deli in Arlington?!! Last time I checked they have internet in Arlington. I used it last week when I was at home in TX. What the hell are you people in A-hole doing?!! Get off your asses and review! I'm having to do it all from LA. Ok back to Jason's Deli. I've been going here for years. Decades. This place is AWESOME! Yes it's a chain, but who cares?!! My friend Angie D runs one in Ft. Collins, CO. And my friend Clay L's sister manages one in the DFW area. Their broccoli cheese soup is the BOMB. And yes I know that word is dated. I'm bringing it back. I used to work at the JD on Cooper. Delivery driving sucks. Guess what...TIP BETTER PEOPLE!!! Broccoli cheese soup is killer. Baked potato's are gigantic! I like the BBQ beef one with cheese and butter. It just screams heart failure. Really nothing is bad here. The salad bar is the biggest one you'll ever see and the stuff is SUPER fresh always. JD is top notch in my book. They don't have them in California yet though which sucks! Please come to LA JD! I'd love you forever. In the mean time I'll continue to tear it up in TX along with Chick-fil-a. I have always enjoyed getting a good lunch at Jason's Deli and I frequent the Lincoln Square location at least twice a month. I enjoy the Muffuletta sandwich with the tomato soup. However yesterday, March 6, 2018, was a very special day for me personally at Jason Deli. I was excited about a lot of things going on in my life and I didn't each much breakfast. just and orange. I am a diabetic and I now better this is not new to me and I should always carry my snacks. But, I was waiting to go to lunch at Jason's and at take a quick look in Pier 1. But, as I arrived I felt a little nausea and by the time I got to the cashier to place my order my glucose level dropped and could not stand or hold up my head. The General Manager John was extremely helpful. I was sick. John stayed by my side until if felt better contacted a friend to come and pick me up. I was truly embarrassed. I threw up several times. John got me cold towels, juice, crackers, whatever he thought I would need to feel better. John being who he was wonderful. John never made me fee ashamed ;but kind and caring the whole time I was in his store. I thought about his business and what customers may say about why I was sick was it because of something I ate in his store. John assure me his concern was for me at that moment and wanted me to get better. I am forever grateful to John and his staff at Jason's Deli at the Lincoln Square location at the Road to Six Flags. Hmmm... Decided to visit this location for a gluten free smoked turkey sandwich, cup of fruit and no roaches ... The first part was granted with no problem, until I ventured to get a cup of ice for water. I was then greeted by my accompanying food comrade with a laugh, a nudge, then a point. He was pointing at a bug watching us from the soda machine. It was right as I filled my cup with ice that I noticed the fellow. The oddest part, beyond finding a bug in a Jasons Deli, was the lack of urgency and attentiveness to the issue . It had just taken attentiveness to my allergy, so how could I ignore this review?! After freaking a bit, understanding bugs can be anywhere and thinking, well maybe they'll clean it and apologize for such a disgusting experience, I was wrong... The nice lady that took our order saw me being weird & gesturing for her assistance and came over . I asked for a bottle of water because there was bug on the machine. She frowned, smirked, apologized & called a guy preparing food to get the critter. He literally caught it with his hands against the machine, scooped it into his apron and smiled as if nothing happened. As I received my food I never saw anyone clean the machine or offer an apology in addition to the lady who had simply given me a bottled water as recourse. I got strawberries in my fruit which I am allergic too (and discussed with the cashier as per receipt), all tables I attempted to sit in were dirty, seats and tabletops AND a gnat was adamant about eating my corrected serving of fruit. I adore JD especially with the gf options. But this is one place I may not ever be able to give a second chance. Had they offered an explanation, obvious attempt at prevention and/or correction, or even a simple "We're sorry about that, is there anything we can do to keep your business or alleviate this inconvenience", this review may have been slightly different and much shorter. Plus I could have bought a loaf of Udi's bread for the price I paid to eat one sandwich unhappily. So one star for gf convenience and the other for service. I am writing this because I have recently found your yelp page, which is crazy considering I have been a customer for a very long time. I felt the need to write this because I absolutely adore the young girl who works the to-go side at night. She is always so sweet to everyone I have seen her come in contact with and had remembered our names before we even learned hers. She always refers to my husband and I by our name and is always so enthusiastic about serving us. Anyone can tell she is a hard worker and before I learned her name (which is Eva) I always referred to her by "the sweet little red haired girl". Thank you guys for finally getting name tags! As always the food is great and the service from the rest of the company is usually pretty decent. I will be moving soon but will continue to go here until then. read more

I have always been pleased with placing large orders for business as a way to show my gratitude to others and been been pleased until this order was taken at Jason's Deli on Road to Six Flags. I placed an order of over $300.00 to Memoral Hospital Heart and Vasular for the loving care I was given to arrive on Tuesday (the day of delivery for this week). Director called on that day and said food never arrived. After being heart broken because staff their had been told food was to be delivered on that day as a token of appreciation. I called Jason's and they said they had no record of order. I felt the employee taking my order and charge card over the phone was taking so long and my instinct was that she must be an incompetent employee. When I contacted the manager, she said they would redeliver next day with my 300,00 plus order but offered no sympathy of adding extra tea or any extra food (for the hospital) delivery that was a day late. She said they couldn't do that. Thanks to the hospital staff for letting me know that Jason's at this address had not followed through on order correctly when placed. My advice is to not trust their delivery but call on the day of delivery to make sure your order is still on schedule so the receiving party can enjoy and not be disappointed. read more

I call in and order the chicken and smoke turkey jack panini sandwiches at least twice a week. The call in/ pick up area being separate from the main dine-in order and seating location is a massively influential aspect of the customer experience that keep me returning probably hundreds of times a year! The free ice cream cone and easily accessible soft drink and tea areas are located in both areas of the restaurant again making the customer experience for both dine in and pick up customers that much smoother and less stressful. (I looovvveee their vanilla cones) eat one every time I pick up a meal on the drive back to my apartment. A non healthy ritual that I tend to indulge in quite regularly) haha thank you jasons deli! Anytime I've ever ordered from this location or any other Jason's Deli, they never bring the entire order, EVER, and today was my last straw when they just didn't bring my order at all, AND lied about coming to my house and leaving a receipt. None of that happened, and when I called and spoke with the manager, he hung up on me! The worst service EVER! read more
